A Little Mathematical Truth
Posted by Zo3oAfter An-Nahar reported that 58% of Christians voted M14, many aunists resorted to the idea that Aoun has a much much more greater christian base than the LF since he alone got 42 % of all Christian votes.
I beg to differ:
Some Middle school Mathematics (Marada please dont read, you haven’t reached this level of education yet)
Lets say we got 100 Christians from M14, its logical to say that a minimum of 65 of them are LF, so we can say 65% of M14 Christians are LF. (logical minimum)
Again lets take 100 Christians from M8, Quarantine them, and start counting…We can somewhat see a MAXIMUM of 90 of them are Orangists. So thats 90% of M8 christians are tayyar.(not logical but im assuming the maximum here).
Final Tally:
1) LF: 65% of M14, and M14 got 58% of Christian votes: LF= 65% of 58% = 37.7% of Christian votes
2) Tayyar: 90% of M8, and M8 got 42% of Christian votes: Tayyar= 90% of 42%= 37.8% of Christian votes
mmm…interesting and pretty close numbers…THIS ASSUMING 90% OF M8 Christians are Tayyar, and only 65% of M14 are LF…
Please Orangists, spare us your useless lies and admit for once in your life that GMA has lost big time.

No aunist resorts to that idea in the first place since what an-nahar says is lies(yes your favorite newspaper lies, get over it).
-In beirut: at least 4000 sunni votes were given to M14 christian candidates versus zero shiite votes for aoun’s candidates, and that was the only reason M14 won.
-In metn: no muslim votes aoun wins(and almost completely if not for murr getting 1200 armenian votes and threatening priests).
-In zahle: M14 candidates received 29000 sunni votes versus 9000 shiite votes for aoun, and that meant 20000 muslim votes for M14 versus 0 muslim votes for aoun, and that was the only reason M14 won there. And note more importantly, that in 2005 there was 19000 sunni voters counted in Zahle, which meant someone transferred ‘noufouz’ 10000 sunni voters from west bekaa to zahle, and you can guess who did that.
The reason there was so much more christian votes for M14 this time, was because the price of the vote went up from 100$ in 2005 to 1000$ this time(in some places reaching 1300$).
The greatest indicator to this is Zgharta: In 2005 frangieh got 90%(not sure exactly how much but something like that), but this time he got away on a thousand votes. Ask yourself why? Have any of his stances or principles changed from 2005 to 2009? Not a single one, but the zghirtewiye were bought by M14 as they were bought by frangieh for 20 years(zghirtewiye are specifically known to be always open for sale to anyone).
In conclusion, aoun got the exact same he got in universities and unions, at least 55% of the christians, and you, you got the same as 2005, less christian votes saved by more muslim votes.

small error: the 1200 armenian votes are the ones that went to M14 in beirut versus 2000 armenian votes for aoun in beirut. In metn murr got almost all of the armenian votes.

G-man,
You must have super human powers. I’m amazed by your ability to be able to see and count every one that voted and to whom.
Why didn’t you talk about Jbeil (13,664 Shiaa registered voters), Baabda (33,499 Shiaa registered voters) and Jezzine (10,222 Shiaa registered voters)?
In Zahle there are 21,580 shiaa registered voters, what makes you so sure only 9000 voted.
Please give us accurate numbers from reliable sources.
As for your Armenian vote count, 80% are represented by Tashnag, you have 32112 registered Armenian voters in Metn and 19976 in Beirut 1. So revisit your numbers.
By the way what happened to the 4,314 Shiaa registered voters in Metn. I don’t think the voted for M14.
If you heard the news today, Minister Baroud confirmed that there was no transfer of noufouss in any district. The Zahle transfer was done in 2005, and who won in Zahle in 2005?
As for Murr, it’s nice that the FAMOUS PREACHER OF CHANGE AND REFORM turned a blind eye on Murr in 2005 and 2007. Now that Murr caused him to lose 2 seats in Metn, he noticed his wrong doings.
I just can’t see how you follow Aoun and defend him blindly when he keeps accusing people with no proof or with made up proof. He attacks M14 and claim they are responsible for Lebanon’s debt, weren’t his allies in the past governments?
I would love to see what excuse Aoun will give when he will be pressured by his allies not implement the auditing of the government expenses.

G-man
I advise to have another name, it does not sound right does it?

I think G-man missed the G-spot like the Ghanem’s brothers did with Kamal Fghali early morning on LBC with their predetermined wishful statistics.
Find a G-spot for the next 4 years for some exhilaration while listening to classical music, which can highten your hallucination and subside your Aouni complex and misery!
I also recommend “I’m a looser” by the Beatles.

58% of christians voted for M14, and that’s the only reason why M14 won.
