i do thank syria for lot of things, and blame them for lot of mistakes they did in lebanon.
i saw lot of people thanking bush on this blog and saying how much they are going to miss him, in the same time we had the states destroying half of lebanon in 2006 …
this is lebanon. we are divided. we dont have commun enemies, neither commun friends…some people here wish our death, other people from the other side wish your death.
we have a comming election, let us destroy the country for the fun of doing it
long live us
18. Michele | March 8th, 2009 at 4:26 pm
Ja3far r u serious? The States destroying Lebanon or our so called fake terrorist militia who did that just to save a baby killer? Who z hell r u trying to fool here? Do u think that we are all idiots like Arze n Ramy who could buy anything?
Pls tell me why u do thank Syria ya watané inta?
19. bashirist for life | March 8th, 2009 at 4:33 pm
For those who love syria so much, why not pack and get the hell out of Lebanon and go live in Syria.
20. ja3far | March 8th, 2009 at 4:36 pm
michele are u serious? why do u consider taking israeli prisoners declaring war and you forget about those farmers and sheppered who were killed in there field between 2000 and 2006? do u have any idea by the way that israel killed lebanese people during that periode by the way? of course not.. you were having good time partying and enjoying being wataniye
and if you dont know who was pushing israel to go to the war, and who was announcing everyday that this war is the beginning of al sharq al awsat al jadeed while sending thousands of tons of bombs to throw them on our head then you are to blind to make you see..
keep fooling yourself, but al wataniye wal awtan are not made with talks
21. ja3far | March 8th, 2009 at 4:38 pm
bashirist…lama ykoun libnen malik bayak we will go to syria… we love whoever we want to love mich 3ejbak allah ma3ak
22. Ra'fat | March 8th, 2009 at 4:42 pm
Syria boned Lebanon, Israel boned Lebanon, the arabs, the US, Iran, every one of them boned us. But to tell you the truth we have also done a pretty job boning ourselves, the country always acts like a cheap whore to whoever is giving out money. Anyone here who thinks the coming elections will change anything does not understand the problem we face in this country. It is almost guaranteed the country will be in a stand still, lets examine:
1-March 14 win, then things will remain EXACTLY as they are now, since they are a majority now the same issues will remain
2-March 8 win, the face of Lebanon will change and M8 and M14 will trade places, different issues but same infighting and nothing will get done
The only kicker is the Hariri trial, no matter how factual the results are and no matter how damning the proof, we all know facts mean nothing, and the group affected will fight back. So, it really can’t be a good thing either because it will be putting half the country on trial. So depending on who will be in power, the devastation brought by the trial will be of different magnitudes.
To those living in Lebanon, may God help you, but then again God only helps those who deserve helping.
23. Michele | March 8th, 2009 at 4:43 pm
Ya Ja3far just answer why u would like to thank Syria for?

michele… strategy is not one plus one equal two. .. when our survival against an enemy like israel needs syrias help and opening its borders for us , we will thank syria for that and we will support syria when needed. the results were clear later on in 2006 war and if you are able to use your mind and look at what is happening to gaza because egypt is closing the borders you will understand.
but you know why, the problem is not with us. we are honest people and respect our words. the problem with the lebanese is that they are used to lying and deceiving and consider it something great . why are you asking me this question? why dont you ask why did harriri give the key of beirut to kenaan? name me any of the M14 allies ( except geagea who was in prison ) i will get you tens of speeches were he was kissing the a*s of syrian when they were in control. go to the archive of future tv when bachar was elected. for a whole week we didnt see anything but celebrations and a*s kissing. no body blame jumblat for saying he was lying to everyone for twenty years. all those people , your allies, were doing that for power. and when everybody thought syria is going to fall they shifted to the other side. how can you vote for Mps who voted for lahoud and said later proudly they were scared. Haji kizeb wa nifak.
Yes we are allied to the Syrian. We don’t believe that Lebanon can survive with Syria as enemy. even when the syrian were killing us we have bitten on our injuries. When we believe in something we stand for it. You are not used to honesty and values to bad for you

Delta… you are an american citizen 3ala rassi wa 3ayni. but when syria came to lebanon they had green light from the states, when israel came in they had green light, when syria came back and took control they had agrrement with the american, when the israeli throwed 200 thousand bomb on us and more then ten thousand plane attck it was pushed by the american. when the israeli wanted to stop the first weak it was the american who did not want them to stop. your government believe in what is good for america and its people .. good for you.. but your government never worked for what is good for me.
38. Michele | March 8th, 2009 at 9:09 pm
Ja3far as usual u have double standards n so full of BS.
Till now u were not able to answer a simple question then again a traitor has never a gd reason to betray his country. When u folks thanked Syria it was in March 8 2005 way before u launched a war wz Israel.
U said something interesting btw, n I quote u :” we r honest people… But Lebanese like lying” aha so u do after all not consider urself Lebanese.
If I need to follow ur stupid logic I should thank Israel for opening their borders n receiving our Lebanese citizens when leaving Lebanon, maheik?
I’m not sure if u lack decency, logic or balls but I still need u to answer me why me a Lebanese citizen who got relatives n friends killed by syrians have to thank Syria for?

Did anyone notice how many lunatics are looking at the girls ass in the picture number 4 ?
I am still not convinced inno el 3aouniyeh w hizballa share the same thoughts, really strange, I have a friend he is from Zgharta he himself tells me everytime he goes to a demonstration inno ya zalame alla yil3an haydi el iyyem yalli wa2afitna ma hawdol el 7awash, mberi7 kinna 3am nsibbon w ni7ki 3annon and today we are obliged to share their thoughts and fear.
Anyone is convinced inno 3aoun can put his rules on Hizballa? ya di3anak ya tayyar.

How can Syria defend Lebanon? against whom? against Israel ? they never had ONE shot in the Golan!!!!!
Why should I say thank you to Syria? For stealing our econmy?? For killing people? For making us lose hope in our country? For dividing us?????
41. maverick | March 9th, 2009 at 12:01 am
LOOLL Ja3far….Typical m8 response:
Keep dodging and ducking a simple question, bringing up a load of hypocracy and blind Idealism, digging up the past of m14 figures, and keep repeating the rhetoric of m8 leaders…..ooooft.
30 years of Assad tutelage, taking away basic rights, killing freedom of expression, imprisoning civilians, the infamous Hajez, the Moukhabarat, the sucking of Lebanons life force and its economy….and you cannot look truth in the face and admit that Syria does not give two F*&% about this country.
Its okay, it seems to you that this was all in the past, I guess then all the political assassinations thats been occuring was an American/Zionist /Joumblatti plot.
Or Was it Ze Germans Tommy? Ze Germans.
Wake up and smell that coffee.
42. maverick | March 9th, 2009 at 12:06 am
BTW….If I hear that we need Syria argument one more time, Im gonna cry.
Enoo, where in History have the Syrians stopped the IDF from destroying Lebanon, let alone allowing them to enter. U wanna fight the Jooooos, khayee, open up a battlefield in the Golan and have fun. Stop bieng a slave for blood thirsty dictators.
Isreal bombed a missile site last yr inside Syria, and the Syrians kept watching Bab al Harra.
43. ja3far | March 9th, 2009 at 9:19 am
Thx Michele, I am full with BS and my logic is stupid. i may even lack decency , logic and balls Ma3leesh…
i will go with u step by step…
do you believe in itifaq al taef?
if you dont believe in it, then all the lebanese who signed on it including LF are traitors for u. I advise you to stay in Kuwait or go look for a better place for you to live because Lebanon is not for you.
if you believe in it the way i do, then you will know that al taef came to end the lebanese war and to open a new page in lebanon.
the lebanese parties who signed itifae al taef in addition to the sponsors agreed on syria to help the lebanese to end the civil war. We do thank Saudi for their help in reaching that agreement.
between year 1990 and 2005 the syrian presence in lebanon was legitimated by itifae al taef . You cannot say that we are traitors for working with the syrian or for thanking them for the help they provided us with to end the lebanese war. For that we do thank them.
you may argue about our military action after year 2000 and if shebaa and the prisoners are worth it. I will not go in this debate. But if you have the little of decency you should approve our military actions before year 2000. The resistance that obliged israel to withdraw from lebanon . this resistance wouldn’t have succeeded without the help of Syria and the path they provided us. For That we do thank syria.
in addition to all the above, syria proved to be loyal and helped us back in the war of year 2006. just the idea of opening their borders to half a million refugee during the war is more than enough for me. The refugees who run away from the love of the American and the israelies talk in good ways about the treatment they received there. for that i do thank syria too.
now you didnt answer me about what you think about the great lebanese mentality, that i hate. The mentality that is so obvious in your allies. they are ready to sell there father for power and authority. their news papers and tv are ready to switch loyalty 180 degrees in less then 24 hours. You are angry of me because i stand for what i believe in and i don’t stab in the back. What do you think of the Lebanese politicians who were ki*sing Syria a*s for 20 years and as soon as they thought the wind is changing they started attacking here and ki*sing the American a*s? those are your allies, those are the MPs you want to vote for? those are the people you are counting to build the country?
you think we are traitors? we are terrorists? Ok show us your courage , your patriotism, your love to Lebanon.. fight us!!! give lebanon this great favour of getting rid of us … because the day we believe you are traitors and terrorists is the day you will be in big big trouble. and that what happened in May 7 .
at least when we believe in something we have the guts to stand for it ..
44. maverick | March 9th, 2009 at 2:43 pm
Lol again…..always interesting to read Ja3far….wont go into it….but loved how you threatened with “you will be in big big trouble.and that what happened in May 7″.
Basita
45. ja3far | March 9th, 2009 at 2:53 pm
shou hiye al basita ? if i am convinced you are a traitor or a terrorist i will make you pay big time… those here, and they are many, who are convinced we are traitors and terrorists stop whining like little children and do something!
46. maverick | March 9th, 2009 at 3:26 pm
Because we the “traitors”, know that by arming ourselves and fighting fellow Lebanese is the end of what we know as Lebanon. To go back to the civil war years is not only destructive and stupid, but belligerent responsiblity that will affect the next generations.
But you people, who are so tough and patriotic will laugh and celebrate when political assassinations happen, will celebrate when Beirut was burning thanks to your arguile warriors. Will put up tents in the middle of the city and cripple the economy and ppls lives.
I envy you for having these intelligent , patriotic thoughts.
47. ja3far | March 9th, 2009 at 3:35 pm
so ? all what you are saying is talk talk talk.. wil haki ma bita3mi wala biyebni watan…
are you convinced we are traitors and terrorists or not? if you are not, then i am not adressing you, i am addressing the many here who keep repeating that automaticaly
if you believe we are then what are you going to do? yes we did all the above and we are ready to do much more if convinced that this will meet our “hidden agenda” the agenda of syria and iran as you like to call it … tell me WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT IT???????? HOW ARE YOU GOING TO SAVE LEBANON FROM THE EVIL US???? you are going to vote for MPs who showd to be cowards when your country was in need ??? and then go crying about the evil us …
48. maverick | March 9th, 2009 at 3:53 pm
Well personally i cant wait to see the backside of all our current leaders and politicians, and see a new breed of young, patriotic technocrats ala Ziad Baroud.
But since were in Lebanon and im in touch with reality, i know thats not going to happen anytime shortly.
Hala2 i might agree with u and ur allies on some points about our current Govt. buts its no reason to paralyze a country, commit murders, riegn terror on civilians, cripple the economy with a yr-old sit in, invade homes and kill civilians in cold blood.etc etc.
All M8 does is deconstruct and criticize, they have no fresh alternative.
I side with M14 not cos im fond of its leaders, but cos M14 belongs to the ppl, its a grassroots mvmnt that holds up a banner that says “Enough!!!”. We are ready to move on….build….construct…modernize…live side by side….freedom of expression…etc
Just because the idiots of the m14 ruling class took us hostage and failed to deliver, it doesnt mean we are traitors..and blah blah blah.
49. ja3far | March 9th, 2009 at 4:02 pm
read back the previous comments and you will see who is calling who traitors and terrorists.
lebanon cannot be ruled by one group over the other. this will mean going back to civil war. wheter i am right or wrong i have the right to veto any decision. this is the soul of al taef, this is what ended the civil war.
i love the slogans and banners that were risen in m14 rally, but what if the way things were handled showed to be the opposite of that?
you werote in a previous comment that we do like to dig the past of leaders, we will be stupid if we dont. Fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me. most of those leaders have taking tremendous amounts of their trust account, i cannot trust them easily. and when they take a decision in the government that will asking the army to attack the resistance they are acting like traitors.
i dont have doubts that most of the people here have good intentions, and want to live normal life, but the first thing to do is to accept the other, not to show that the survival of lebanon is on eleminating the other …
and i cant wait to see the backside of most of the current leaders as well
