I think we lost this battle, and Michel Eddeh will be the next president. They have played the game to force us to accept him, the same thing that happened with Mikhael Daher in 1998.
Junblatt said to Al Safir that the blood of the Lebanese is more precious than the international resolutions, and he’s right, but i do believe that if we bring Eddeh or anyone else with the same descriptions, we are only postponing the problem and deepening the conflict and worsening the situation for later. What we should do is electing a 14 March president with Half + 1 disregarding what could happen, at least we will havew our fate in our own hands not in the Syrian hand.

Thx for posting this. I was going to post it with NO COMMENT.
Pathetic.
12:43 Lahoud farted
12:56 Amr Mussa ordered foul w’ta3mia.
That this passes for news and is accepted by our idiot press is a scandal.
News is:
Who are the names?
Who is supporting whom?
What are the snags?
The press is asleep and the people are in a coma.

Rodge,
I would have agreed more with you 3 months ago.
Now M14 fucked up too much and too long to get anything right. Sfeir’s idiotic “2/3 quorum” was a catastrrophic blunder and a blow to any chance of 50%+plus (which I think is constitutional by the way).
