I am not the biggest fan of GMA, nor would I be excited to see him as a president; however, I am wondering what is worst for lebanon and the future stability: cutting a deal with GMA before the presidential elections or going with a head-on confrontation where no one can estimate the outcome??

The conference is total BS, he said absolutely NOTHING.

Pity the nation where the leaders say nothing, refuse to answer questions and the big daily news is: a-hole number-1 met with a-hole number 2, they agreed. The meeting was positive. No wait! They disagreed but thank God they’re optimistic but not too optimistic, they will talk on the phone again tomorrow blah blah blah.

We’ve had over 2 years of this crap in the midst of a MAJOR breakdown (it’s not a crisis anymore).

The press (and Bkirki and cicil society) should be shredding all these idiots to pieces and should refuse to cover these bullshit type “events” and “news”.

It’s disgusting.

Mourakib: Good question…Like JoseyWales said we are in major crisis and still we hear BS!…I want to ask another question, what does AOUN want??…he wants to free Christians from Bkerke and all leaders who were against Syria??…Is he more honest than Pierre Gemayel or Gibran Tueini??…This is BS we can’t cut a deal on BS, Aoun left us destroyed in 90 he should be the first to compromise and correct his old mistakes we don’t want more confrontations…I don’t think Saad Hariri and Walid Junblat who lost their dads or Amine Gemayel and Ghassan Tueini who lost their sons want more confrontations, what does Aoun want more from us!???…Come on man enough wars and enough speeches we want to live in a normal country!
