  I do not like Aoun but his speach today was a good change. Lets hope that it is the result of his beliefs and not his medication.

  His Speech is really different to some extent. I hope that we see more change in the Christian leadership and more unity to some extent.

  what is in his speech then reading the basics of democracy!!!! i thought Rousseau invented those…

  he is a political man not a university teacher, no one is asking him to explain to us what is democracy, we want to know his opinions on things, something he missed to give, in his speech and in his replies to journalists

  Roch-
  I agree with you 100% but it is still better then his speeches about the different animals at the ZOO or whats below his belt or above it. It is a slight improvement. Lets hope he continues to take his medication so things could get better.

  the “megavideo.com” website that you are using to publish the news is blocked in the UAE; can’t you use the regular google videos site?

  I don’t see anything different in his speech, I heard it quickly.

  Seems to me:

  He just discovered what the philosophers of the enlightenment and Anglo-Saxon democracies discovered 300 years ago.

  He still has no clue as to the practices involved in consitutional republics.

  He thinks he is the ultimate authority on what is good/bad legal/illegal etc. In fact, he’s been distorting the law and the constitution with Hezbo forever, starting with a non-existent “right to burn tires and block streets” and ending with the 2/3 “quorum” akl khara.
