  yeah N they will link the syrian bombings 2 the lebanese bombing and claim its origin is lebanon, and enter under the excuse that they want to protect their national security. they have already deployed the army and prepared the gear!

  The whole world knows that Syria is the source of terrorism exported to Iraq and lebanon…who is going to be fooled by such a scenario?

  I still think HA and Syria are behind these explosions..Don’t be fooled by reconciliations…it is all non sense…

  Yi3ni we have to know first to which country this car belongs or to be more specific we have to know to which country this car Syria wll relate it to then we shall expect their move, As for Iraq ,Syria is not needed anymore to make a favor with the Americans since Iraq is dried like hell and since Syria has made its part of the deal in 1990 and her gift was Lebanon, this leaves that the car came from Lebanon and Syria will put more pressure on America and especially of what’s left from the time of President Bush and will try to convince the whole world that the salafist and extremists are behind the explosions and who knows maybe behind the assassination of Rafik Hariri and this will give them the right to do the same that Russia did in Georgia .
  ALLA YISTIRNA. The same people who eased and were behind the entrance of Syria to Lebanon are back with a Vengeance.

  Syria has moved to attack now after defending itself in the last 3 years or so.

  after earning the confident of some western countries (namely France), it is trying now to convince the international community that terrorism is coming from unstable neighboring countries (Iraq & Lebanon) rather than telling the world the truth, which is that terrorism is in fact coming from its lands to Lebanon and Iraq, since Syria is one of the terrorist harbor countries.

  the sad about the issue is that Syria is winning this game, and lately Condoleeza Rice had a meeting with Walid Mouallem in New York, which represents a big change in the US politics.

  i agree with your scenario, Syria is trying to find excuse to re-enter north Lebanon, where it’s hard for its allies to win the election. Syria has to enter Akkar and Tripoli till after the election, or it will threat and scare the people there of such move, so maybe it can change their decisions and let them vote for Karami, Yakan and Co.

  Right on as usual… We have had the tell tale signs already. Syria will invade Lebanon under the guise of being “attacked” from Lebanon. Already they have claimed that a “suicide” bomber came from a neighbouring country!

  Given the international financial context the syrians can get back to lebanon without anyone saying anything. North corea understood it very well and kicked out the nuclear inspectors without anyone telling them anything…Also eventough it’s not as strong as the baas pretends, syria created a monster that could proove to be dangerous for the unifil or other foreign interests in lebanon. Not to exclude too that syria might get a reward for being nice with isreal and for crushing the jihadist who were blowing up themsleves in Iraq. Bottom line YES syria can return to lebanon and we will see aounies throwing rice at them…

  al quaeda have already attacked in jordan, saudi arabia, yaman, algeria, morraco, syria, egypt, lebanon.. and many others.. all you need to do is to go to few websites run by pro quaida and you will see how they are calling for jihad against the crusade army in lebanon… have you forgot zawahiri few days ago?.. we have become one of there targets…

  How on earth would any one of you, me included get any where since you start accusing each other at every point? there is a disaster on the way!!!!!!! if it’s done by Syria,and they apparantly have the green light from european countries tocome back, then it’s a disaster!!! if it’s done by radical , extreme muslims, whoever they are, then it’s a disaster too. it means that it isn’t going to stop here. didn’t we agree that the civil war is over and we r apologising to each other now? haven’t we realised that in the time of war , only we , the lebanese from all over lebanon, no matter what religion we are , pay the price? if its the jihadists, then be so afraid, its christians and Shiites who will pay, coz according to their belief, christians , whom they call “al- salibeyeen” and shiites, whom they call al- mortaddeen or al rafedeen, and moderate Sunnis whom they call al- khawana, will pay the price. i am really sorry i had to use these words and terms to name us, i have always considered my self lebanese. plz forgive me

  If Samir Geagea is a MAN and KBIR, he would open those cases to free his name.

  Anything short than that proves that he did those crimes and he is afraid of a retrial.

  You can Ga3gi3 as much as you want. The fact is he is refusing of opening these cases.

  Geagea will be tried on the cases he found guilty and in the future there are 2 more cases been prepared for him.

  Ja3far…Al qaeda in lebanon is a big lie, sure there is a few explosives fans with long beards in the north but first they are not that many and second a good half of them are your allies. Yakan and Tawhid…

  Saying that Tripoli has become a new kandahar is BIG lie and I find it absurd that anyone pretends this is the truth… I would remind you that for a few month now there was fightings between jabal mohsen and bab el tabbaneh, events that gave us a good idea of who was who in the north. Most of the fighters in bab el tabbaneh were not salafis, there was a few salafis among them but they were a small minority. In the same time some salafis(sha3ben tawhid) were fighting along with the alouies against the bab el tabbaneh boys…

  How the hell do you want anyone in his mind to believe that tripoli has a strong al qaeda movement and that a few hundred alawi fighters on a hill can keep shelling that town for monthes without any of these al qaeda boys blowing up himself and their 2 villages and a half…

  This is just a big plot and lies cooked in the balckrooms of the bassi regime and we see lebanese closing their eyes and one way or another approving their entrance in north lebanon. Rouh ya sharif enta, 3an jad khouwana…

  If we accept the fat lie that North lebanon is full of Al quaeda the question is: where did they come from?
  from the sea, the South, the moon, or Beirut Airport…all these options are not valid options for obvious reasons!!!!!

  The only possible source of al quaeda would be Syria so in my book Lebanon should attack syria for allowing these scumbags, whoever they are, to cross the syrian borders towards North lebanon…and if Syria is so worried about its national security, it should accept the demarcation of its borders with Lebanon…not invade Lebanon!!!!!

  It was so funny when last year the Syrians fabricated an attack on the American embassy in Syria in order to prove that they care about Americans’safety!!!!!!!

  i did not jump to conclusion i just wanted tp share with you some of the ouwet ideas and make you part of it as a lebanese first and as a blogger 2nd i try to put u sometimes in our shoes so u see why we act and react to defend our country .to be honest i admire your courage coming to this blog and trying to discuss and share the truth ya jaafar is people like us we are tired talking we wanna act we wanna build a country like the west with an arabic infusion to it (lot of people will tell u thats not true we are not trying to be like franc e usa…) my answer to them will be die with ignorance you have to be like paris and new york and CAL .. other wise ur not advancing and growing technology better way of life….
  also we do not wanna forget about our real roots the lebanese roots that has lot to share with the arab nation but with much more class… (i do not mean to offend any arabs or any pro arabs).

  hizbullah supporters are human beings… and humans by nature wanna survive!!
  wanna live in harmony!!!
  yea it is true that such ppl find all the pleasure in Martydom… and when we say Martyrdom this means dying for a noble cause.. yea these ppl are ready to die only if this is a need to live in dignity… they dont dies just to die.. they dont kill children like rima said!! no… they evaluate life but only if their mothers, brothers, can live with pride.. these ppl would die to protect their country!!!
  it is true that hizbullah has religious motives.. and cause of religious issues they can never have peace with israel or agree on that cause simply they doesnt recognize it!!
  but that doesnt mean that hizbullah will launch a war to liberate Palestine!!!
  yea, we might help them… but without dangering lebanon cause that would make no sense at all…!!
  hizbullah alone can never liberate palestine and they kno that very well.. maybe if the arabs launced a war u would find hizbullah members the first ppl ready to join the fight but they will never fight alone by themselves cause they will be defeated for sure and all the ones whom they love will be slaughtered and the whole south will be destroyed1!!
  what hizbullah has been doing over decades was for the sake of lebanon !!!
  although sometimes syria and the islamic republic got benefits of that struggle but that was indirectly!!!
