Italy school crucifixes ‘barred’
Posted by primadonnaIm finding it difficult to find another word to call a muslim, a muslim…what should a say, an arab? But there are Christian arabs? To all who would get offended, dont be so sensitive!
A muslim woman in Italy(or a hajje…what do you want me say so you don’t get hurt?) protested that it is an insult to her that her children have to be sitting in a classroom with a cross on the wall.
This is an article I took from the BBC News; imagine Europe, especially Italy turning into a secular country. This is what they want after all. They have done it in Iraq (still persecuting the christians), in Egypt, somewhat in Lebanon and now it’s the turn of the head of Christianity, Italy.
So basically they have the right to enter the European and Christian countries and force their religion while we are not even allowed to open a church in Saoudi, or even display our culture in the arab world…
The European Court of Human Rights has ruled against the use of crucifixes in classrooms in Italy.
It said the practice violated the right of parents to educate their children as they saw fit, and ran counter to the child’s right to freedom of religion.
The case was brought by an Italian mother, Soile Lautsi, who wants to give her children a secular education.
The Vatican said it was shocked by the ruling, calling it “wrong and myopic” to exclude the crucifix from education.
The ruling has sparked anger in the largely Catholic country, with one politician calling the move “shameful”.
The Strasbourg court found that: “The compulsory display of a symbol of a given confession in premises used by the public authorities… restricted the right of parents to educate their children in conformity with their convictions.”
It also restricted the “right of children to believe or not to believe”, the seven judges ruling on the case said in a statement quoted by AFP news agency.
European identity
Mrs Lautsi complained to the European court that her children had to attend a public school in northern Italy that had crucifixes in every room.
She was awarded 5,000 euros ($7,400; £4,500) in damages.
Vatican spokesman the Rev Federico Lombardi said the European court had no right intervening in such a profoundly Italian matter, the Associated Press reported.
“It seems as if the court wanted to ignore the role of Christianity in forming Europe’s identity, which was and remains essential.”
He told Italian TV: “The crucifix has always been a sign of God’s love, unity and hospitality to all humanity.
“It is unpleasant that it is considered a sign of division, exclusion or a restriction of freedom.”
‘Italian tradition’
Many politicians in Italy have reacted angrily.
Education Minister Mariastella Gelmini said the crucifix was a “symbol of our tradition”, and not a mark of Catholicism.
One government minister called the ruling “shameful”, while another said that Europe was forgetting its Christian heritage.
The government says it will appeal against the decision.
The BBC’s Duncan Kennedy in Rome says that it is customary in Italy to see crucifixes in public buildings, including schools, despite the constitution saying that there should be a separation of church and state.
The law requiring crucifixes to be hung in schools dates back to the 1920s.
Although a revised accord between the Vatican and the Italian government ended Catholicism’s position as the state religion in 1984, the crucifix law has never been repealed.
Some conservatives have already complained about schools dropping nativity plays to avoid upsetting Muslim children.

The means or causes are wrong and sad, but the end is good…The decision does not necessarily mean that the majority of Europeans have become atheists, because people who believe in A God prefer this rule even Christians who invest too much respect for others also prefer this rule. Please do not forget the role of powerful Jews in Europe in that ruling. I doubt that Jews would like to see crucifixes in classes any less than Muslims.
Please guys don’t turn this post into a Muslim hatred argument. Its hypocritical given that its not Christian.

Its amazing how many MORONS this blog attracts, MORONS like ZIAD-italty, and JAafar and I dont know who, those morons who come to this site in all their “wa2e7a” to attack whatever is written.
People who do not like what is written here JUST DONT COME HERE, no one wants your RADICAL point of view which is most of the TIME AS DUMB as your obvious IDEOLOGIES which you tend to deny…
In other words, go get a life, instead of spending your time calling people GHASHIM or I donno what, when its very obvious, that your IQ is hilariously low.
SERIOUSLY GO GET A LIFE, AND UNDERSTAND THAT NO MATTER HOW HARD YOU TRY TO DEFEND THOSE IDEOLOGIES AND “RELIGION” WHICH YOU FOLLOW, YOU ARE AS TRANSPARENT AND SHALLOW AS THEY ARE.
5. DLV | November 10th, 2009 at 5:21 am
BTW ZIAD, who gives a shit if about Gelmini or what she stands for. Who gives a shit if you know about her or not. the point is that there is an interesting topic which is being discussed and no one gives a flying fuck about Galmini and who loves her and of course about your fucking comment which is again as DUMB AS YOU ARE. So go masturbate or whatever you do in your daily life and quite annoying NORMAL people with your dumb comments.

it is a matter of time before Christianity is wiped out off the earth, and the planet is taken over by gays, lesbians, jews, muslims, arabs, black people, asians, budhists, communists and so forth. is that not the main tenant of your argument?
in other words, you are a fascist nazi.
7. nadim | November 10th, 2009 at 9:24 am
DLV – i will come everyday to this blog, and comment, if you don’t like it, go f*** yourself, there can be no censorship on the internet no matter how hard you try, and you will always get to listen to other people (read anyone who can read, and who is not a redneck inbred maronite like you) express an opposing point of view, god forbid that you can be actually, what is the word?, WRONG
8. nadim | November 10th, 2009 at 9:26 am
let us not forget that hitler and mussoloni were catholics, and that pope pius was a nazi sympthatizer who facilitated the holocaust (i.e. the vatican)
cathlocism’s legacy in this world is this : hatred, dark ages, fighting sciences, burning muslims and jews in the inquisition in spain, the holocaust, child mollesting, etc etc.
9. Mike | November 10th, 2009 at 10:07 am
Nadim I agree with you on many of the points but don’t call maronites inbred rednecks. I don’t like to be sectarian. But remember it is the Muslims who mostly marry their cousins.
10. Reminder | November 10th, 2009 at 11:12 am
nadim you are jsut as racist as those whom you critisize… hitler was an aetheist and Pope Puis was not a sympathizer…the Vatican acutally helped many jews escape and sruvive the holocaust (that is a FACT). Plus I don’t think Pope John Paul 2 is a sybmol of hatred ect…
Also it was the arabs who INVADED spain several hundred years before the spannish took back their lands…its as if you are saying the palestinians are wrong for trying to take back thier land! I am not sure u noticed that I was against this post at first and critiszed a similar post earlier..but you are no better than the person who posted that!
11. primadonna | November 10th, 2009 at 2:42 pm
ZIAD-ITALY, in my previous blog people attracked me coz my headline had the word muslim! so what? what is the amzing prob that is making most of you get mad? if it were a christian i would have said a christian! but it wasnt! and the fact that u called me a ghashime simply shows ur lack of witt and education…obviously u arnt capable of responding in an educated and intellectual person…dont u know that when u use insults makes u look stupid and obviously proves that u are uncapable of forming a decent and smart sentence?
12. primadonna | November 10th, 2009 at 2:52 pm
REMINDER, let me remind u that i was NOT ATTACKING THE MUSLIMS coz if i did i would have already done it! do tell me what was wrong with my post? ur exactly like the rest of the arab population, hiding behind ur finger! are u that blind? dont u see the point of my post? and dont tell nadim that he is no better than me, how do you claim that u know me and nadim before putting up ur idiotic comments?
13. nadim | November 10th, 2009 at 3:40 pm
i am not saying all maronites are inbred rednecks, i am saying the ppl on this blog are inbred maronite rednecks (subtle difference?)
so the inquisition is justified huh reminder? let’s assume muslims deserve to die because their grandparents 7 CENTURIES AGO invaded spain. what about the jews who died in the inquisition? purely a catholic legacy of hatred. yes i am racist against catholic hardliners because i am a radical atheist, as much as i am against any religious hardliners including religious muslims (Read, religion = stupidity and hatred).
may i remind you that in the state of utah, mormos, an offshoot of christianity, practice polygamy and marry cousins?
Reminder, you are an apologist for the vatican, the dark fact remains much somber and the examples are too many to count here, and too many for you to deny. the vatican itself does not deny it as evident from the galileo statute that stands in atonement today in the vatican for the guy they oppressed (physically) centuries ago for the sole sin of daring to go against the bible in what regards cosmological truth.
hitler was not an atheist. there is no proof of that. the nazi-vatican collaboration is widely known, and the current pope himself was a mamber of the hitlerjugend, no matter how hard he tried to brush it.
anyway – i have better things to do than debate with you goodbye
14. nadim | November 10th, 2009 at 3:42 pm
for nazi-vatican correspondence, refer to william shirer’s rize and fall of the third reich, the most important authority on the third reich by far. (there is a whole chapter about hiter’s relationship with cathlocism)
15. ziad-italy | November 10th, 2009 at 4:21 pm
primadonna , please dont insult anybody’s intelligence , please girl .
i got made in ur last post becoz u went of dissing all muslims making all muslims terrorist like and idiots like which is not true . and in this thread of urs , and i quote
“Im finding it difficult to find another word to call a muslim, a muslim” ennou shou ma3neta ? i wish u wrote something like ur finding it hard to call an EXTREMIST , a muslim , and i would certainly agree and za22eflek .
let me make a couple of things straight .
first of all , this BBC article maybe forgot to point out that this hajje has the italian passport and she is italian .of course she is majannaseh , but even thought she is mjannaseh that means she is italian and she has the same right of the italian people . by that she has the right to complain about whatever she doesnt like . she is not a “clandestain ” trying to get some rights of her , SHE IS ITALIAN . and so are those muslims that are against curcifixes in school.
as i said before i can understand the 2 points of views and sadly i have to agree with both .
curcifixes in schools is part of the italian culture , but also at school u have different type of relegions , muslims , jews , atheist and their opinion has to be respected as well BECOZ THEY ARE ITALIAN CITIZEN .
as for another important thing : the muslim occupation of europe . those who dont live in europe read carefully what i m writing this is the truth :
europe in the 2050 will NOT have a majority of muslims .
europe will have a majority of ATHEIST !!!!
why ? simple .
boys and girls in school are integrating with the country they’re in . i ll speak about italian . i teach computer in a school here , and in my class i see marrocans and algerians and muslim albanians and italians ect . and of course the majority of the strangers are muslims , but the thing is they are rapidaly integrating in the italian sociaty and it really start from small things , like italian clothes , to the italian football intrest , or going out late at night on wednesday in my city per example .
so , these boys and girls are living day by day between old muslim thinking ( tjhei parents) and new modern thinking (thei friends) and as i saw and spoke to couple of them , they all are trying to have something in between , and we all know that their parent wont live forever , so by 2050 , u ll have the same italian attitude from a lot of people without relegion . and that is the fact .
when u see studies about the muslim growing in europe , these studies are meer calculation , math ! it is math man !!
but human attitude and the human life cant be calculated by a computer !!
i mean this is what they calculated .
1 million muslim family in italy * 7 children each family * 50 years = 350million muslims .
that is NOT TRUE !!! this calculation isnt taking in consideration the fact that those boys and girls and integrating a lot more than their parents .

You’re right. They are completely apathetic to the rest of the world. A bunch of hypocrites. What gives them the right to walk around fully covered in Christian based cultures and DEMAND a cross is removed! Yet you go to their cities and they spit on the floor next to you and laugh and ridicule. Disgusting. Next they will demand the vatican be closed because it is offensive for their children.
