Yes you read properly.
No your eyes are not deceiving you.
The Lebanese Forces have been training since March.
The decision was taken at the level of the leadership and executed on the ground.
More than hundreds of people attended the training sessions which were quite successful.
The initial kick off for the training was given last year in September, during the Martyrs mass in Harissa when DSG said:
“halla2 wa2et al moukawami al siyessiyi al fekriyi al selmiyi…yali bit2oum 3al feker mouch 3al swarikh, 3al kelmi mouch 3al rsasa…”
The training sessions were not carried out in total secrecy in some terrorist camp in the Bekaa but rather in the open and in front of every one…
The name given to the trainees was not “saraya al moukawami” or some other resonating hypocritical name but rather “al jami3a al sha3biya” – the popular assembly.
The attendees were not instructed in how to blow up a car or make a home bomb but rather in the history of their country, in the politics that lead us to where we are today…in the intricacies of theology and the ramifications of multiplicity of sects…
To those that find it strange that the Lebanese Forces should be engulfing themselves in academic training whereas other factions were arming themselves, I will quote a famous saying: “the pen is mightier than the sword”…and to each time its weapons of defense.
Today, the war, the true war, is fought on the psychological level and not on the battle field…a wrecked economy can cause a massive exodus of skilled Lebanese therefore creating a massive gap amidst them and bringing Lebanon’s enemies one step closer to re-occupying the land…
and this is the war being raged on us by Syria and its allies in Lebanon…a psychological economic war of attrition…
Another defense wall that has been setup is the Lebanese Forces Business Assembly, a grouping of Lebanese businessmen who come together in order to form a solidarity chain…in an attempt to provide each other with enough sustainability in order to keep running and avoid leaving this country…
Ever since his arrival at the helm of the Lebanese Forces, DSG has made it a point to build on solid bases.
Eleven years of civil war had taught him that a society built on military strength, on the number of weapons it possesses, on the readiness of its citizens to die for such and such person is a society doomed to fail sooner or later.
He knew that the key to continuity laid in providing the Lebanese society with alternative means to sustain themselves…the key laid in education and a broadening of horizons …
He realized that the Lebanese Forces came from nowhere else but from the people and thus a strong and resilient people ultimately meant a stronger LF.
This same realization is what causes the Popular Assemblies to be revived once more and the LFBA to be setup…the desire to make the society more robust and more resilient to the ill meaning attempts of other factions in the country which do not wish to see a strong nation emerge from the ashes left by Syrian occupation.
It is sad indeed that other factions in the country, who consider themselves as reformative factions, should choose to engulf in the dirty world of weapons and military training (not to mention at the hands of people who do not believe in the existence of the Lebanese state in the first place).
It is sad indeed that those people who instead of considering ways of building and rebuilding are today studying plans to wreck more havoc in the fragile Lebanese body…
I guess the saying is true indeed: ma bi so7 illa al sa7i7…

“لوفيغارو”: الجنرال سليمان رجل التوافق المحتمل “الصامت الاكبر” مكن لبنان من اجتياز أخطر المراحل
نشرت صحيفة “لوفيغارو” الفرنسية في عددها الصادر يوم السبت الفائت مقالا بعنوان “الجنرال سليمان، رجل التوافق المحتمل”، ووصفته بالقائد الذي عرف كيف يداري حساسية المؤيدين لسوريا ومَن هم ضدها. وأشارت الصحيفة الى قائد الجيش بـ”الصامت الاكبر” في لبنان على الرغم من ان اسمه يتداول باستمرار كمرشح توافق لرئاسة الجمهورية. وهو يرفض اعطاء مقابلات اعلامية ما يجعل وسائل الاعلام تفنّد ادنى تصريح له وتعوّل عليه، علما ان مغزى كلامه واحد دائما وهو ضرورة الوحدة الوطنية والوقوف على مسافة واحدة من المعارضة والموالاة ما يعتبره المراقبون بمثابة ترشح ضمني.
وعزت الصحيفة سبب عدم تمتع العماد سليمان بشعبية كبيرة الى كونه كتوما الا ان ما يجعل شعبيته تتصاعد ان شريحة كبرى من اللبنانيين تتطلع الى تغيير الطبقة السياسية. وأضاءت على مراحل مهمة في تاريخ عمله في قيادة الجيش حيث تمكن من اجتياز فترات بالغة الخطورة منذ توليه القيادة في العام 1998 وأبرزها تظاهرة 14 آذار حيث رفض منع التظاهرة في وسط بيروت لا بل عكس من خلال التظاهرة روح الاخوّة بين الجيش والمتظاهرين، وفي المقابل، رفض في كانون الثاني 2007 تفريق تظاهرة للمعارضة التي أعلنت الاضراب العام واحتلت الطرقات الرئيسية في البلاد.
وأشارت الصحيفة الى حدثين بارزين عززا موقع العماد سليمان وابرزا دوره الرائد وشخصيته القيادية المميزة في الحياة اللبنانية: نشر الجيش في الجنوب تطبيقا للقرار 1701 في نهاية حرب تموز 2006 وهو ما وصفه احد الخبراء بـ”المفاجأة الحقيقية من دون اخطاء” حيث تمكن الجيش من الانتشار على الحدود مع اسرائيل واشترط العماد سليمان آنذاك عدم المواجهة مع “حزب الله”.
اما الحدث الثاني ودائما بحسب “لوفيغارو” فهو معركة “نهر البارد” مع تنظيم “فتح السلام” التي استمرت على مدى ثلاثة اشهر في ظل مواجهات شرسة وصعبة للغاية.
واعتبرت الصحيفة ان تصريحات العماد سليمان بعد النصر الذي حققه الجيش خفضت أسهمه لدى فريق الغالبية حيث أعلن أن المعركة كانت مع فرع من “القاعدة” في لبنان من دون أن يوجّه الاتهام الى سوريا داحضا في الوقت نفسه الاتهام الموجّه من سوريا وحلفائها في لبنان بشأن رعاية “تيار المستقبل” لتنظيم “فتح الاسلام”.
وختمت الصحيفة الفرنسية مقالها بالاشارة الى ان حظوظ العماد سليمان في الرئاسة تبقى قليلة راهنا، حيث ان انتخابه يتطلب تعديلا دستوريا علما انه يمكن ان ينتخب في اللحظة الاخيرة كمخرج وحيد من الازمة والا فثمة خيار آخر هو تكليفه بحكومة انتقالية على غرار حصل في العام 1988.

too good to believe that the LF are moving in the natural direction of things when the “others” are not???
well, I see some people willing to believe that HA are pro Lebanon and want a sovereign and free nation to be constructed
and they are also willing to believe that Syria is really out of Lebanon and is no longer interfering
and they would swear that all those who died from M14 committed suicide or were killed by their next of kin in order to take their place…
Arze…do me a favor…check back in time in 1986 who was the first to come up with reforms like
- “ta3adod ijtime3i” (similar to social security)
- “na2el moushtarak” (similar to public transport)
- “taw2ami” (the twinning of 5000 lebanese families with french families who would adopt them in all financial aspects)
- the first open heart surgeries
in case you did not know, it was the LF under DSG who came out with all of the above…yes the LF…
contrary to what you are told, the LF are not thugs who kill and rape for pleasure…
the LF are not cut-throats whithout aim or creed who pass their time murdering their fellow citizens…
there were some who did bad things in the name of the LF this is true and no one denies it…but this is typical of Lebanon.
Any group that achieves power is bound to attract parasites of all kinds who live on its borderlines…
but those bad people were but a drop of water in the sea…for the achievements of the LF cover by far any evil thing that might have been done…
plus, we should not overlook the propaganda factor, especially now that aoun has shown that he would not stop at anything, even using fake images and lies, to discredit the LF…makes me wonder how many of the stories circulated back then were true and how many were plain fabrications in the photoshop style…

who can forget the dozens arrested in Dekwaneh region just because they were from the North region??
yet we as LF chose to forgive this past, learn from it and deal with the future…

عليها من كوادر تعمل في فرع المعلومات اللبناني الذي يديره لحساب ال الحريري وسام الحسن …المعلومات تقول :
ان النائب المغدور أنطوان غانم كان على موعد في سن الفيل مع الرئيس
الأعلى لحزب الكتائب أمين الجميل في حرش تابت ليس بعيدا عن مكان الإنفجار الذي أودى
بحياته. وبما أن النائب هو جزء من جماعة الرابع عشر من شباط ممن يتولى
حمايتهم حصرا جهاز فرع المعلومات في قوى الأمن الداخلي فقد خضع النائب المغدور لطلب هذا
الفرع بعدم إستعمال أي هاتف خليوي إلا واحد تم تأمينه عبر ضباط الفرع لمعظم نواب
الأكثرية ومنهم غانم وقيل لهم بأن هذا الجهاز محمي معلوماتيا ولا يمكن إختراقه ورصده
والأهم لا يمكن لأي كان تحديد المكان الجغرافي لبثه .
كما أن فرع المعلومات وضع خطط حماية لغانم تقتضي منه عدم السير بموكب بل بسيارت عادية

خاضع لبرنامج مراقبة المراقب . أي أنهم يراقبون من بعيد أي هم يراقبلونه

النائب غانم فور خروجه من بيته إتصل بالرئيس أمين الجميل وأبلغه أنه في طريقه إليه .
الرئيس الجميل رد على غانم بالقول أنه سيؤخر لقائهما ساعة عن الموعد المتفق عليه .
حينها إتصل غانم بالمحامي سمير شبلي وأبلغه أنه قادم لزيارته وبالفعل جلس في مكتب شبلي فترة ساعة ونيف
ولحظة خروجه من مكتب الأخير دوى الإنفجار الذي قتله .
الضابط الذي يغامر بحياته لتسريب هذه المعلومات الخطيرة اضاف :
تعلمون ان المخابرات الفرنسية تساعد في التحقيق بشكل غير معلن وهذه المخابرات توصلت
إلى نتيجة مفادها أن هاتف فرع المعلومات الغير قابل للإختراق كان هو سبب تحديد مكان
غانم وان مجموعة إتصالات خليوية وتحركات السيارة المتفجرة التي كانت مسروقة منذ عشر
سنوات تشير إلى القاتل الذي نفذ عملية التفجير تلك .
وهو المسؤول القواتي المفروز للعمل بإمرة وسام الحسن والمعروف بإسم أندريه عبيد.
المصدر أكد ان الفرنسيين أبلغوا الرئيس أمين الجميل بهذه المعلومات ونقلوا للرئيس ميشال عون نفس المعلومات وأكدوا له بأن الرئيس أمين الجميل لديه نفس القناعة وهي أن القوات اللبنانية متورطة في مقتل أنطوان غانم .

روى مصدر أمني عال المستوى شريف ونظيف في قوى الأمن الدخلي لأخبار مونتريال حيثيات وتفاصيل المعلومات التي توصل إليها التحقيق الرسمي للشرطة اللبنانية وتفاصيل أخرى حصل عليها هذا المصدر من كوادر تعمل في فرع المعلومات وتخفي إعتراضها على الدور الذي يلعبه هذا الفرع المشبوه الذي يعمل بإمرة المخابراتي الأميركي في مجلس الأمن القومي آليوت إبرامز .
المعلومات التي حصل عليها سيادة العميد أو العقيد أو المقدم ( نموه على رتبته لنحميه ) المعترض من داخل قوى الأمن الداخلي اللبنانية والتي يقودها أزلام سعد الحريري المسترزقين تقول :

الرئيس الجميل رد على غانم بالقول أنه سيؤخر لقائهما ساعة عن الموعد المتفق عليه . حينها إتصل غانم بالمحامي سمير شبلي وأبلغه أنه قادم لزيارته وقضى لديه فترة ساعة ونيف ولحظة خروجه من مكتب الأخير دوى الإنفجار الذي قتله .
قوى الأمن الداخلي التي هي واحدة من المؤسسات الوطنية الكبرى والتي تسلبط عليها تيار المستقبل ليجعلها مجرد ميليشيا تضم في صفوفها فرق موت يقودها وسام الحسن
يعاني ضباطها الشرفاء من صراع داخلي بين من يريد كشف الحقائق وفضح العملاء وبين أنهم لا يرون أن المعارضة اللبنانية جذرية في مواجهتها لهؤلاء القتلة العملاء في قوى الأمن الداخلي أمثال وسام الحسن وزبانيته العاملين بإمرة الأميركي .
لهذا حين يسمع هؤلاء الضباط عن التسوية التي يلاحق بها زعماء المعارضة التيار الموالي للأميركيين يتساءل هؤلاء الضباط لماذا علينا أن نورط أنفسنا في مواجهة مع وسام الحسن الذي خلفه اليوت إبرامز وبندر بن سلطان وملك السعودية والرئيس الأميركي بينما أن أقصى ما يمكن أن يحصل من تغيير للوضع اللبناني لن يكون إلا تسوية تحفظ لآل الحريري نفوذهم وتشرعنه وبالتالي سيبقون الغطاء السياسي على فرق الموت التي يقودها وسام الحسن لمصلحة الأميركيين والإسرائيليين .
لهذا يسكت الكثير من قادة قوى الأمن الداخلي على ما يرونه ويسمعونه ويحصلون عليه من معلومات . لأن الواحد منهم سيكون إن فضح الجرائم التي تحصل على يد فرق الموت المشرعنه فسيكون وحده في مواجهة العالم .
مناسبة هذا الكلام هو سؤالي للمصدر المعني بمقالي هذا سبب سكوته وعدم إبلاغ سيرج براميرتس بما يعرف خاصة وأن له مصادر وعيون بحكم موقعه القديم في وقى الأمن الداخلي حتى داخل فرقة الموت المسماة فرع المعلومات . عندها شرح لي المصدر المذكور (بوسيلة إتصال خاصة وبطريقة غير قابلة للمتابعة وربما عبر مرسال خاص بيني وبينه من يدري ولن أقول لكي أحميه ) مخاوفه من أن براميرتس حتى الآن لم يطلق سراح الضباط الأربعة رغم كل ما قيل عن عدم وجود دليل لديه ضدهم ومع معرفته أنهم مسجونون بقرار من سلفه . فهل تريدني أن أكون الضابط الخامس المسجون ؟؟
تفهمت مخاوف الضابط في وقى الأمن الداخلي الذي تابع سرد المعلومات التي لديه وهي تقول:
كل التحقيقات تشير إلى المخابرات الفرنسية التي تساعد في التحقيق بشكل غير معلن توصلت إلى نتيجة مفادها أن هاتف فرع المعلومات الغير قابل للإختراق كان هو سبب تحديد مكان غانم وان مجموعة إتصالات خليوية وتحركات السيارة المتفجرة التي كانت مسروقة منذ عشر سنوات تشير إلى إسم قائد عملية التفجير تلك وإلى القاتل المنفذ للنائب إنطوان غانم . إنه المسؤول القواتي المفروز للعمل بإمرة وسام الحسن المعروف بإسم أندريه عبيد وهو إسم قد يكون إسما وهميا أو صحيحا لأن السيارة المسروقة تربط بينه وبينه عملية التفجير وإتصالاته في ذاك اليوم تؤكد هذا الأمر .
المصدر أكد أنه نما إليه وبشكل مؤكد بأن الفرنسيين وعبر مسؤولين في سفارتهم أبلغوا الرئيس أمين الجميل بهذه المعلومات ونقلوا للرئيس ميشال عون نفس المعلومات وقالوا له مؤكدين بأن الرئيس أمين الجميل لديه نفس القناعة وهي أن القوات اللبنانية متورطة في مقتل أنطوان غانم .
هل حقق براميرتس مع وسام الحسن حول الهاتف ذاك وعن سبب عدم مرافقة دوريات المعلومات للنائب المغدور وعن برنامج مراقبة المراقبة وتوقفه عن العمل في حالة النائب غانم ؟؟
هل حقق براميرتس مع سمير جعجع وساله عن سبب تواجد مسؤول قواتي في لائحة المتهمين المفترضين ؟؟
المصدر قال إن تحقيقات براميرتس سرية ولا يمكن معرفة ما فعل وما لم يفعل بالنسبة لقضية لم يمر عليها إسبوعين ولكن بالتأكيد أعتقد أن قرارات براميرتس تتعرض لضغوط دولية وأميركية وإلا ما الذي لا زال يفعله زهير الصديق حرا في باريس ؟؟ ولماذا لم يطلب توقيفه سيرج براميرتس حتى الآن ؟
ماذا لو قتل الصديق فمن سيكون حينها المسؤول عن ضياع صلة الوصل بين المرتشي الصديق والراشي سعد الحريري .؟؟
كلها إشارات مخيفة ولا تطمئن إلى أن التحقيقات بوضعها الحالي ستوصل إلى الحقيقة وإن وصلت إليها هناك شك بأنها ستعلن . أمور وتفاصيل تجعلني افهم لماذا يسكت ضابط كبير كمصدرنا ويلجأ إلينا لتنفيس ما في نفسه من غضب وتوق للعدالة .
سؤال للمعارضة …….هل تشمل التسوية ترقية المجرم وسام الحسن إلى رتبة لواء……..

you see its when people are UNABLE to reply rationally and with logic that they start with calling names like you are doing…
most likely you cannot express yourself well enough to tell us how angry this fact makes you….in this case, I suggest you take anger management classes…
in case you do not know what to reply, then its usually the best tactic to stay quiet and shut up…better stay quiet than speak and make a fool out of yourself….
an advice?
go read up on your history…
check up the line you are following and see where it leads you and where it has lead those before you…
do some calculations my friend…analyze events…ask yourself why…being a blind follower will lead you to empty posts like this one…being a blind follower will get you to fall in every pothole on the road but will not excuse those falls…

Lebanese….I am reading (and having a blast at laughing at the contents)
1- the line we are following is more than 30 years old my friend…it is the historic line of the LF and that is to prevent the syrian control of lebanon and to establish a strong and sovereign country. At least those we are allied with today have left the syrian line. they do not call themselves “al sawra al islamia fi lubnan” or “al 7izb al kawmi al souri” or “al ba3th al 3arabi”…
2- the history of the Lf is one we are proud to uphold and remember for eyars to come…can you say the same about what you are doing today???
how will you explain to your kids your alliance with HA when 2 years ago you were accusing them of being pro iranian/syrian terrorist groups???
how will you explain to your kids that the general that burned Lebanon because he did not want any other rifle besided that of the army and did not want any militias on the ground is today protecting a militia???
how will you explain to your kids that your allies are supported both financially and militarily by syria who still has many interrests in Lebanon and plans to re-establish itself here…was this not the reason the FPM was formed??? to resist syrian occupation????????????????
how will you explain to your kids that your allies are called slaymen franjiyi and wi2am wahab and nasser andil…those very people that EVERY SINGLE DAY pledge their allegiance to syria???????????

you see when a person is willing to deny what his/her eyes see because it is against what he/she is told, this is not a good sign at all…
when we choose to follow what we are told and decide to ignore the senses God himself gave us to guide us, this means we are asking to be misguided…watch out…

on the other hand, I see for example truckloads of weapons bringing AKs and other light weapons to christian areas like metn, batroun etc…and I also see the guys int he neighborhood suddenly disappear for 2 or 3 weeks in a row to come back with a suntan and an attitude problem….

I also see people of known belonging asking questions left and right about addresses and names etc…and all this rings bells no matter what is being told…

Othello , unfortunly this is happening in both camps….The lfers and the Aounist . From One side I dont blame the Aounits because after last tiem , they learn that they should defend them selves next time when they ask for a social issues or fair taxe or or or or , becase they will know that a police called the New Lfers will face them with guns….SO i dont blame the Aonist for getting armed and trained ….On the other Side the Lfers? they have always had weapons , and half my friends are LFers so i know it…and i know they get trained , and what they talk between themselves is not at all what geagea is talking on the Media….And Geagea is aware of all this weapons and training , and maybe covering it …and its normal …Everything is normal guys
we are going to a Federation unfortunly…You guys should be happy ! But know….that the only way you can have a federation , is by a War …and its Coming. It will start with Wars between religions , then religions them selves , then sect them selves , the LFers them selves and and and and , ull have the baladiet achrafieh in 3 areas , and baladie el jdeide in 3 areas and and and ..this is the next Lebanon from a 10452 KM2 to 10 452 Provinces

Arze..you see this is where u r wrong:
1-do not paint things as if the aounists were having a peace and love demo and the LFers just jumped on them and started shooting them…its not that far for people to have forgotten:
a- aoun coming to tv one day before and warning people from going to work…eno warning??? what right has he????
b- let me remind you that aounists were burning tires and blocking ALL roads and that there was a clear intent on cutting vital roads and thereby blockading entire areas.
so no the aounists were not doing a hippie style “make love not war” kind of demo.
2- let me remind you that groups arming and training themselves later on became MILITIAS…and those same militias, mr aoun built himself a group of followers based on his beliefs that they should not exist….so now dont you see it ironic that aoun should be forming himslef militias???????
3- in Lebanon EVERYONE has a weapon of some sort…its cultural…but NOT EVERYONE is receiving training as to how to use it militarily. you heard this or you heard that cannot be used as proof…and quite frankly, I very much doubt that the sources who told you LF were training were honnest in their reports…in fact the Military intelligence (a group well known for its HATRED of the LF) has not been able to find anything out…and your friends have??? give me a break…
4- you seem to have a pretty wacked idea as to LF ideologies and way of thinking…and most likely your ideas are entirely based on hearsay and propaganda….anyways, I will not dive into an attempt to clear this picture from your head…I know from experience that most aounists when presented with HARD CORE EVIDENCE will choose to ignore it because internally they cannot accept the fact they were wrong all along…
