  • 2. Rodge | December 19th, 2007 at 7:48 pm

It’s not the chair, but the syrian agents who sat on it, as well as some Maronite “so-called ” leaders, unfortunately, who are willing to do everything and to sell anyone to be on this chair.

hahah aljazeera put it the best way:

everyone in lebanon is going under the chair.. jumping on top of the chair.. moving from side to side facing the chair; bending and looking beneath the chair and above the chair… examining the chair…

but no one seems keen on filling this chair…

Delta… how can it be ugly…. i am a muslim but i am telling you.. this chair represents the last christian leadership post in the east…

are you really happy with an empty chair?

They fail to realize that the road to ba3bda is not paved with rolex watches, hariri’s money, and geagea’s ideology . It is useless to have everone write one or two defenition of the problem cuz talk is cheap . This chair belongs to GMA and no one else. He sacrificed (still )his whole life fighting for lebanon and our case.

This is his not yours. You dont deserve it .

    Ali,

Everytime i read your comments, i realize more and more that you also sacrifice yourself for 2 things: to attack all 14 March people, especially the LFers, and the second is to show Aoun’s case. But while doing this, u’re tending not to look to the facts and ignoring the truth.
I always wanted to reply, but i then thought i better not, since i don’t have any interest in disccussing matters that neither and especially you will change opinions about it.
But what you wrote here is soo much offending, not to me only, but to the majority of the Lebanese, because when you say, and i quote “He sacrificed (still )his whole life fighting for lebanon and our case”, you’re copyning what Aoun and his assistants are saying every day and night, but without any material evidence. You’re offending most of the Lebanese people who are the ones who really sacrified for Lebanon and the Cause.
Where is the sacrifice in Aoun’s life??
Few people had the chance of a goofd life like Aoun, he went to the Military school and succeded in it despite his mental health, he became Army Commander and then PM, he nearly ruled a big part of Lebanon, he received support from most of the Lebanese people, he made popularity, and then when the going got tougfh he travelled to France where he lived in a beautiful villa with his family. Then he came back to Lebanon to live in another villa, he made it to the Parliament with more than 20 deputies for him, and he received suring all this period big sums of money that no one can count, and now he’s claiming more than 3 million US dollars as a compensation for his military secvice.

    And you’re talking about sacrifice????
the only sacrifice he did is Lebanon, since he’s willing to give all Lebanon as a gift in a pack to anyone who can assure him to be a President, not to serve Lebanon, but to serve his own ambitions and arrogance and pride (if he still have some).

    you’re talking about our cause???
which cause?? it is his cause only, he’s a dictator that only wants to be in power, and i don’t think you witnessed him while he was in power, or else you wouldn’t be with him now. all Lebanon has suffered from his insanity while he was in power, and we’re not willing at all to deliver the presidency to a man who will make the world forget about Saddam and his adventures, so stop the crap and open your eyes, but first open your head.
You have the right to defend whatever you want and whoever you want, but please don’t use expression like he’s the only one, and he made all the sacrifices, because no one, even yourself will believe in this shit.
    Thank you

I’m living a life full of success. I sacrificed my time studying not fighting on KHTOUT AL TAMES. Ya, I was young when aoun stood like a mountain against the militias. I was a teenager back then, but still remember how he and only he, said no to Syria while you were collaborating with them.

After venting (ba2yton) your feeling and discussing specific details, the angry person will expect a similar reply (you), but I’m not going to do so. Since I have no proof of what I say (as you said) im going to try my best not to be judgmental. But let me tell you this old man, we (opposition) are free to express opinions even if our ideas differ from those who call themselves 14th of March. Ya, rodge, we sacrificed the most not you, just accept it. We sacrificed for Lebanon to stay, you sacrificed for your federalism and didn’t achieve it …..

Social justice is the bottom line , don’t mix religion and politics anymore . Love yourself and others and Lebanon will prosper.

    Thank you ..

    Ali ya Ali,

    You disappointed me once agian,

    Watani 7orrr???
to which country?? Syria or Iran??

    Souri 7orr???
    Irani 7or???

anyway, ur reply proves how much you’re suffering lack in showing a good case

Just to tell you, this slogan of “watani 7orr” does not aplly on any of Aoun’s people, the only people who are really free patriotic are the ones who give a damn about politics and who are workiung everyday to feed their families, without following any of the so called leaders.

What are you talking about? Ali 1559 decided not to reply in specific details , he quoted : After venting (ba2yton) your feeling and discussing specific details, the angry person will expect a similar reply (you), but I’m not going to do so. Since I have no proof of what I say (as you said) im going to try my best not to be judgmental….. I respect this out of him , why did you attack him without a proof of what you say ? You need to read his last phrase and go from there , he quoted :
Social justice is the bottom line , don’t mix religion and politics anymore . Love yourself and others and Lebanon will prosper……

Stop mixing politics and religion guys ..
