The once was a aounperor who believed that he was the cleanest, most wonderful, most honest and most brilliant aounperor who ever ruled . He was no ordinary aounperor, at least in his own estimation. No sir !
He would strut around like a peacock in mating season.
He shouted at those who disrespected him with silly questions.
He marched everywhere with an air of “je ne sais quoi”.
The was just one little problem however. One eensie teensie weensielittle problem. One miniscule nanoscopic infinitesimal little problem.
You see this aounperor, didn’t rule anything at all.
The truth was , He was appointed by luck to be the caretaker of a beautiful palace while a new king was elected.
Poor aounperor
no one had ever heard of him before this day.
This was a terrible problem for this Modest Aounperor, since….., how could you be the greatest Aounperor when you had no empire to rule over.

This made the aounperor very miserable :hurt:
So he set about creating an issue, a political issue, mind you.

You see in the neighboring land there was as a terrible Dragon called Assadus the Evil and this dragon was intent on destroying a beautiful country known apropriately , mind you, as The Land of Milk and Honey. And all the people of this peaceful little land were terrified of Assadus as he had pillaged and killed many of these kind people and their ancestors.

The little Aounperor thought to himself;
What better way to bring all the people to adore him than by declaring a war of liberation against the evil Dragon .
So he began to summon all the people to hear him scream and shout about how he, this wonderful Aounperor, would kill Assadus the evil Dragon with his bare hands and liberate all the folk of this rich land.
The people loved him , and cheered, and cheered and cheered. The began to call his name in the streets as a hero, the hero, the most fantastic hero of all.

There was just one problem, one eensie, teensie, microscopic, baby, protozoan little problem; this Aounperor had not a &%#$@ clue how to kill the dragon and now , for daring to insult him,…………

the dragon was ready to eat him alive.
Without much fanfare , or marching bands or trumpets, the little aounperor decided to visit the Welcoming empire of France for a short visit. It just so happened that his short 15 year visit coincided with the total destruction of the Land of milk and honey by none other than the Ravaging Dragon Assadus who wanted nothing more than an excuse to lay his fiery jaws on this tasty little land.

The Aounperor now once again without an empire, began to send messages to his people of how he would soon return to rid them his loving subjects of this evil , horrible dragon.

Meanwhile the people suffered and suffered and Assadus died of old age and his son Basharus the Junior was crowned top dragon . THe Aounperor thought nothing of it, he feverishly wrote letters and speaches and spat and screamed and even cursed a few people when they asked him silly questions as he had in the past.

But a funny thing happened , while the Aounperor was away the people actually began to revolt against the Dragon since he was not nearly as crafty as the old Assadus.

Basharus, who was still pretty crafty, and shrewd, realized that the best way to get control of the rebellious people once more, would be to bring the Aounperor back. Basharus knew that The Aounperor was so eager to be famous and powerful again that he would help the Dragon to stay in this wonderful land.

So by Basharus’ permission an invitation was extended to the Aounperor and an assurance that he would not be eaten was promised to him.

What a wonderful stroke of good luck this was !!!! Aounperor would return a winner and live in the beautiful castle he had so many years ago fallen in love with. Maybe he could even shout at a few people when they asked him insolent questions. This was fortune returned. He had only to convince the people that it was no longer important to kill the dragon. That was easy since he had so many eager subjects waiting for his long trumpeted return.

But things were not to be so easy for the Aounperor. And much to his dismay he was not to be Aounperor upon his return.

For during aounperors vacation in france, the real hero of the people had resisted all this time with his loyal followers. This hero had even gone into the dark cold underground dungeons of Basharus rather than run like the AOunperor had.

And even after aounperors return , the people revolted and liberated their true hero from the dungeon.

Now Aounperor was at a loss, how would he return to the castle while Basharus had lost his power over the land.

Simple he realized.
Basharus was weakened , but he still had many people under his control who feared him. These people , who lived in the southern lands had been given many gifts by basharus and they were loyal to him.
Fortunately, Aounperor also had many followers who believed that he wasnt on vacation in france but rather in exile and they still believed as he had so vehemently assured them that when he returned that he would kill Basharus and reunite all the people.

These people had bet all their reputations and money and hopes on the trustworthy aounperor and his return. Now that aounperor had returned he would favor them , his loyal subjects , with positions of power and rewards for all their loyalty.

But this was not to be as aounperor was not intent on anything but getting his lazy behind back into the cushy mushy throne in the beautiful grand castle he had so fortunatley discovered many gemayel years ago.

Now this was aounperors finest moment as a politician, he began to convince his loyal subjects that the real goal was to get him back to the castle so that from there he could kill that lousy dratted dragon basharus. But in public he pretended to be fair and peaceful and even want to have a cup of tea with basharus as this he reassured his subjects, was the best way to fool the dragon.

Basharus meanwhile encouraged the southern people to bow to Aounperor and support him in his quest for the castle.

They even organized a massive celebration for Aounperor that would show his great popularity.

TO be continued…….

ou fihimkon kfeyeh.

That LaYoumal sketch about The Kid wearing orange, and screaming at Adel and others to go learn about history and “Siyesse” is so bloody true. In every conversation, you will hear from them, “go read books and what do you know about politics?”!!!
