I've been watching the news lately and I couldn't help but notice how people and especially retired military people are attacking sleimein because he received Geagea in yarzeh, saying that, how could he receive someone who killed people from the military.

I say, how come these retired generals, kept there mouth shut when michel sleiman used to visit syria and kiss there asses, knowing that the syrian hurted the lebanese by far more than the L.F did, and for no cause. These military people who opened there mouth now about the visit, are people without dignity and, with no purposed but to kiss syria's ass again again like they have been trained for.

This is amazing!!! Regardless of the picture, I think we all have a collective amnesia problem. I am hearing the same rhetoric again and again: The new president is clean, close to the people and will bring back Lebanon's independence. Bull****. Isn’t that what we said about all the previous corrupt ones. Did we already forget how everybody hailed Lahoud as the savior, and stories started popping everywhere such as he surprised the employees at the car registry and reprimanded bribery!!! Then what happened? Let’s say it the way it is. We have 2 scenarios here: Suleiman supports the Syrian mafia regime and stays in power and becomes just like Lahoud and Aoun, or he is anti-Syrian and he will be killed just like others before him (e.g., Bashir, Mouawad). The third scenario that everybody is thinking of cannot exist. Suleiman cannot be on the sidelines and represent all Lebanon. The Syrian mafia is clear: you’re either with us or against us!!!

i'm with you Fred. I have been also disappointed by hakim, but he remains our strong voice and we cannot forget his jail time and sacrifices.

Suleiman disgusts me, once a syrian puppet means always a syrian puppet. The syrians won't let him turn the other way or they will kill him just like renee moawad.

Hakim,
Do something now or rest and retire forever after.
If Hakim can not react now to stop the fact of making all the sacrifices of the last years of dominance (Jail, martyrs..) go for nothing then he should maybe leave this leadership to someone who wil be able to rebuild faster our forces, our decision our popularity. Lots of people are disgusted from the selfish and irrational behavior of GMA but still they are not able to join us. If now we can not unify the christians then Hakim will never be able to do it.
Hakim, despite his super patriotic and logical approach to event gave so far the image of a shadow of a leader.
He still wants to take big decision and make big committments and fix deadlines (14 March last year for Lahoud to be surely out of Baabda, 23 Nov to surely having a president whatever happens (remeber the stupid countdown clock on our .com site -By the way did you noticce that now it is replaced by a countsown clock to christmas: at least this eone he can not miss.))
He also confirmed many times that by 24 if no president then we would definetely go 50+1, he assured us that no constitutional amendments would be made....
Hakim,
I truely beleive in your leadership, and good will and faith in Lebanon and in the Lebanese christians and I am sure all your efforts is to help them but in these days we need to have facts on the ground and good calculations. Everyday, every martyr, every step we loose is irrevocable.

We are all here to help and sacrifice if you need us but if you do not something now, it would be too late for Lebanon, for the Christians and specially specially specially for the LF

Bashir, Peirre, Gebran are watching us we should not kill them twice

Guys Guys don't be very pessimistic, give the guy a chance , don't shoot on him , he might be different from what we think he is , if Syria wants this guy, she would never blocked the election , this guy has an american support now due to his war in Naher El Bared . Think about the good point of him visiting el Hakim in Mearab.

What exactly are you saying here?, Why not also dig up pics of most of March 14 leaders being close to high-placed Syrians...If they can change, why can't Suleiman?
