Despite all that was said, Sharon expected from Bashir to install an Israeli proxy regime in Lebanon, which he did not get since Bash had no intention of taking orders from anyone .. he believed in Lebanon, unlike many Lebanese who backstabbed him and killed him and Lebanon ..

    He’s maybe the only leader who was able to take from other countries for the sake of Lebanon, not like what some “leaders” are doing right now, taking from Lebanon to support other regimes.

    i like bashir …he is one out of a million…a great leader and a real worrior.
    but unfortunatley he made few mistakes that caused him his life and by loosing him the christians started loosing the war …
    may his soul rest in peace.

    Actually we lost the war the minute he died..
    From Sept. 14 1982 until today it’s been a downward slope from Christians… wal ati a3zam with idiots like aoun, geagea, amine etc…..

    The big mistake was not signing a peace treaty with Israel, and getting Christians to the best position they could ever dream of: THE CHRISTIAN STATE.

    I truly beleive if Bashir was still alive and ruled as the lebanese president, lebanon wouldn’t be in the situation it’s in now, things would have gone much worse before they’ve gotten better but at least he would have put an end to all this bullshit. That hope was lost the day he died and also i truly beleive that no one out there can and able to do what Bashir set out to do.

    So, why isn’t Israel so wonderfully helping the Lebanese free them from the Palestinians that were kicked out of their country and pushed into Lebanon?

    It wasn’t our problem. I can feel the love now.

    I wish for Peace with Israel with the highest mutual respect. But don’t kick us around!
