Dahieh, the economic heart of Lebanon, is going on strike starting tomorrow.
Lebanon’s biggest CEOs, including Abu Hadi, Abu 7assin and Abo cho7atta decided to stop bread production as of today evening since the Ministry of Finance has not yet provided them with the essential quantities of flour.

Abu Hadi, CEO & founder of Al Hadi Bakery, one of the leading bakeries in the suburbs declared that the ‘illegal’ government is not giving them enough amounts of flour. He was angrily shouting and yelling and cursing on how he was unable to supply the Tents yesterday with enough bread ..

Yes it is all the “illegal” government’s mistake ..

(End of joke) :-)

This is by far the peak of arrogance !

Ma bye3terfo bil 7koume 2ella wa2et el ch7ade wa wa2ta baddoun yo2bado !

Eitherway, Sami Haddad clearly declared there is no crisis .. so life goes on … woulli jou3an yirou7 3and 7assouna !! 3ando rat burgers gher chekel !

There is an easy solution, but only for the Hezbollah supporters: Import Iranian bread, it’s called “Naneh Sangak” and it is half a meter long, enough for the whole family!

But there is a problem with importing it because it becomes dry, check out this video :-)

    readers,

The “opposition” is behind every disaster the country is in. The country if suffering from an Iranian-Syria occupation and war. You cannot develop the economy when there is occupation, the first thing is to kick the occupation and then develop the economic projects that were blocked by the occupation.

    Cher readers…

Instead of blaming the opposition and this imaginary “syrian iranian occupation”, why not blame the corrupt goverment for once?
But since this goverment is sunni , I guess religious fanaticism will always get the best of you.

  • 13. omar | March 28th, 2008 at 3:16 pm

i dont get the point of this: we can buy bread from northern beirut, metn, kisrwan, tripoli, etc. this will only hurt the people of the south

  • 14. Ziyad | March 28th, 2008 at 3:43 pm

    funny libanon…
This governement is sunni?? walla?? where did u see that?? Sami Haddad is sunni? and then even if it was a sunni governament as u say, u’re on a ouwett website so the bias shouldn’t be toward sunnis…ahbal

In statistics, 1 or 2 out of 30 are called negligible.
And even if the whole goverment was 100% christian, all working for hariri and FM, this goverment would still be sunni

The head of the goverment is sunni
Most of the goverment officials are sunni
    That’s why you support them
You don’t judge people on what they do, you judge them on who they are.

Screw the government, we need a new one. This government is not fighting the occupation, it is good just in nagging. Actually it can even do better in nagging. We need real people who really start fighting the occupation and its militias. If the government will keep acting like this, we should initiate our own move against the occupation.

Those who have money for weapons and for their own communication lines and their TV stations and for their tents, should not ask for flour for their bread.

If Aounieh are suffering from the same, I am sure they will find jobs in downtown beirut if they let it open again. If not, maybe they can stop buying shares in OTV and use it for bread instead.
