  The map shown here proves without any doubt that what happened in Qatar, mainly concerning the electoral law, was nothing more than sharing authority and power, especially in Beirut.

  I join jad here and I support the questions he raised, and I add, why Aoun only cares about the christian seats in Beirut?? the answer is easy, because it is a matter of challenge, he only wanted to defy Hariri.
  What really happened, and I don’t know how people are so naive to believe that Aoun or anyone else was defending the Christians rights there. They are only trying to earn more seats within the conflict between 2 projects for Lebanon, and they are using us as fuel in this conflict.
  If Aoun really cares, I will say as jad said, why he didn’t care for Hasbaya-Marjeyoun, for Baalbeck-Hermel etc…

  And I will add, ok now they only agreed on the distribution, what about the other issues within the electoral law? what about the system of voting? what about the Lebanese abroad, and i’m one of them, will they be able to vote and how? what about the 2013 elections? are we gonna wait for the next armed conflict to agree on a new law, or maybe we’ll wait to see what will be the benefit of each party??

  Aounists, I urge please don’t listen to ur own media reports and believe it is the truth, just try to see a little bit futher, now they all believed that the Emir of Qatar thanked Aoun especially and told him he saved the day, some of the Aounies even put it on their facebok and msn welcome sentence.
  The problem with Aounists is that despite all the contradictions, first between Aoun own statements, and second between some of his statement and performance, they are still believeing that he is the savior, and he is the straight man, the hero etc…
  Please, what people did in the Christians areas in 2005 was wrong and it contributed in the situation we’ve been in for the last 2 years or so, so please don’t make the same mistake and think more this time, don’t believe those who are claiming that they want the welfare of Christians, because they are the ones who are killing every hope we still have.

  Rodge…The hizb puppets made it clear more than once that this electoral law was only valid for 2009, then we will head to the one circonscription with proportionality rule…

  This was allready agreed by the the 2 main christian blocks through the voices of Hassan Yacoub and Abbas el Hachem that I have been seeing and hearing more than usual lately…why?? are they the “brains” of the christian opposition??

  U’re right, and I was asking the same question about those 2 deputies, one was taken there by Elie Skaff, and the other by Aoun, and in the end they said we want the Christians rights.

  Lies lies lies, but the problem is that we have some people who are still believing, despite the fact that no achievement can be put on Aoun’s political portfolio, maninly in the issues related to Christians.

  For the Aounists,

  Did you ever ask urself why the 8 March people were so in hurry to agree on the 1960s electoral law? they even put it as a condition to elect Sleiman as president.
  Did you ask why this demand came frist from Syria?
  Did you ask urself why Nabih Berri for example, who does not care about Christians rights, was one of the most people demanding this law?
  Did you ask urself why we as Lebanese can’t negociate a modern law, and why we need to go back 48 years to search for a law despite the many demographic changes occured, that were not in any way positive for the Christians?
  Did you ask urself why we need more Aounist deputies?? I think none of them worked well in the last 3 years. Why do we need a deputy if he doesn’t work for our sake?

  If Aoun or anyone else is really concerned about the Christians, there are so many things to be done other than bring more deputies. Lebanese youth, and mainly Christians, need a peaceful, prosper, and stable country, and I didn’t see Aoun contributing in this, in fact he did the contrary, since he helped in destabilizing the country, in destroying the economy, and killing all the hopes in peace.

  Trust me, I despise him personally, but he did make the right moves, all along… and I remember criticizing my Aounist friends too. Well, I guess you have to give credit, when credit is due

  i don’t care who did what is best for the christians, and who is to be blamed not to join Deir el ahmar with bsharre, or to split hasbayya from marje3youn.
  if i want to take it as it is, i would say 8 March succeeded in what they wanted, they took the 11 ministers, they took their electoral law, and they brought the president that 14 march never wanted,and still the best to come( 14 march will approve on the new bayen wizari which will also protect the weapons of Hizballa as a resistance, i’ll remind you later),

  Do you remember when i asked you about what would be your reaction if after all the blame to the army by 14 MARCH leaders and still insisted on electing SLEIMAN in DOHA?
  My friend still best to come: hizballa and Amal today announced that they will support the name of Sa3d as the prime minister in ( TAZKIEH), just not to get surprised later, 14 March so-called leaders will support the new Bayen Wizari supporting the weapons of Hizballa as a resistance, and to tell you from now, what will be left of 14 March next year will also re-elect NABIH BERRI as the parliament cheif.

  Stop moning cuz Lebanon won !This summer we’ll have FUN !
  Only there’s Hezballa’s and Palestinians’ issues , have to be solved , although they r big issues!
  And LF-ers I guess you realize now that time has come to leave Ja3ja3 ,cuz he guided u to wrong places .If we want to follow Sheikh Bashir , we have to be independents , neither with the shi3as nor with the sunnis.
  And aounists you need to stick to ur origin , and not follow the shi3as , and I guess Aoun,Tashnak,and their allies did a good job in Qatar by defending the christians right ! GOOD JOB GUYS !
