The international tribunal was approved in a historic sessions few days ago, and is on its way to be approved in the UN.

How did it all start ?
In December 2005, the Lebanese government adopted the principle of a UN-mandated international tribunal to try the suspects in the Hariri case. Of course Syria and its allies in Lebanon ( Hezbollah, Amal & co) tried to stop the government from approving the proposal, and resigned 2 days before the session of approval on the international tribunal paper.

However, the government approved it and send it to the UN and today Judges Riachi and Sader are on their way to NewYork to finalize the issue and it is said that by Monday morning the tribunal will be approved in the UN security council without any vetoes in prospect.
