Who would have thought ANYONE would dare insult the patriarch the way Sleiman Frangieh did ?? the way Michel Aoun and his dogs did in the past few weeks ??

We dont agree as Christian political parties, its ok.
We fight during elections and are divided as Christians, its also ok ( to a certain extent).

But Insulting the head of our Church and calling him names ??

I believe the patriarch has played the most crucial role for us Christians in the years of Syrian hegemony, he kept us alive, he kept fighting for our Cause silently but firmly. He never missed an opinion to ask for our rights and Lebanon’s rights, he fought against tons of pressures and remained above all.

We failed him since 2005, our leaders misled him, lied to him, dissapointed him .. His only mistakes that that he trusted some of them …

If i were him, i would have kicked out of the Church Sleiman Frangieh once and for all ..
He doesnt deserve to be a maronite, he only deserves to be behind bars or in some shit hole ..

May God bless our Patriarch, may he keep him safe and wise …

You have our support, you will always do.

What to expect from Mafia lord like Franjieh?

Wahad 2azaar, his father Tony Franjieh was 2az3ar and his grandfather the “President” was a criminal shot people in church and run to Syria.

Why to wonder that LF-Marada battle was bloody, the Franjieh Mafia are worst criminals in the Christian area.

It is not strange that Franjieh is friend of Aoun, they call the LF ze3ran but they are the leaders worse than any fighter in LF did in the war.

Go to Hell Sleiman Franjieh, take the Masna3 road it is closer.

you need a new Batrak guys: Mar Nasrallah Michael Franjieh, no seriously i think Aoun/Hizbulla want 1/3 of the church too.
Anywhere they can block anything, they want it.

what a pitty those 2 scum bags Frangieh/Aoun, really what a pitty.

Anyway, what they are doing, along with Berri and his NBN channel, proves how much they are bankrupt in Politics.

They tried everything to destroy the Christian community, but they failed, so they are trying a new method, of course planned by the Syrians themselves.
Let them talk, the history will curse them.
But what’s dangerous here, is how much they can play with the people’s heads, how their followers turned also against the Patriarche, and they call themselves Christians.

I urge all the FPMers and the Maradas and their friends to show their support to the Patriarche, diregarding what their Political views are, at least you should know how to follow you leader without being under his blind influence, you should knwo how to keep on respecting our spiritual leaders.

    Patriarche Sfeir, we love you.

  • 8. Rodge | January 18th, 2008 at 12:21 pm

The Patriarche said yesterday, “God forgive them because they don’t know what they are doing”.

In fact they know very well, and that for, God should never forgive them, they should go straight to hell

  • 9. Toufic | January 18th, 2008 at 12:57 pm

Our beloved Patriarch deserves our strong support in those difficult times.

May God bless our Patriarch. We love you and as Hakim said, you are not alone. We will merge on Lebanon from all over the world in defense of our great Patriarch.

What frengieh said days ago , is what lots and lots of christians are saying in their houses or between friends

The patriarch is supposed to be a Spiritual person just like the pope, not involved in politics , he should a man praying for us (but prayers is not important for u anymore) he should the spiritual consultant of every maronite in the world

Have u ever seen the pope taking position in a political conflict? he always pray , help the poor , go to contries to convince them about the church principles , he talks about basic things that attack the church , like abortion for example etc…. but NEVER talked about politics…

But unfortunely u guys got the patriarch not only involved in politics but also take a stand again Aoun and frenjieh .

The aounist and the marada think and are sure that 14t march , including hariri and geagea and Jumblat do want to implement the palestinians …
Which is funny because thousands of LF led by sheikh bachir died fighting against this cause…
A cause that was always followed by jumblat and the sunna…ironically now supported by the new leader of the LF

The patriarch should have never been involved politaclly or take a stand against the other christians followers….

God never gave him this assignement and he will never give to any person who serves God in his temple …

“Give Ceasar what is for ceasar , and give What is God to God ”

JEsus said so and he wasnt wrong…Politics and God DOES NOT BLEND !

Dear Arze what a nice written speech that accuse the victim and ignore what the criminal did…BRAVO

Your Leader GMA said the Patriarch is ordinary citizen he can have his opinion in politics…so maybe you should go to Rabieh and knock on the door and say I am FPM member I want to talk to GMA to tell him he is wrong because the Patriarch should not express political opinion…I think GMA is very democratic he will welcome you in his salon and apologize for making a mistake.

  • 18. Danny | January 18th, 2008 at 6:10 pm

    Arze,

I have been reading your incoherent babble for a while now. You seem to be a “stoner”…Was it OK with your Orangebutt leader when the Batrak took the lead in asking the Syrians to leave in 2000? Where was your fearless leader when after bombing your Christian civilians for months, he ran off in a French submarine with over $40 m of people’s money.
Where was he? He never worked a day in France, yet him and his family, and dumbass traitor soldier friends, Abu jamra and al, lived in palaces…

So Shut up and have some self respect towards your Church and its leaders. In your pea brain thinking you are swearing at the Batrak, but you are swearing at yourself. Also, do not speak for the Pope my boy…The Pope (John Paul II fought against and was instrumental in the collapse of communism. So go home and keep quiet!!

“The patriarch should have never been involved politaclly or take a stand against the other christians followers….

God never gave him this assignement and he will never give to any person who serves God in his temple…”

I agree with this… But there is no justification for what Franjieh said even in politics, let alone directed to a religious figure. Shame…

Arze ya hable, we read well into your agenda.
What the Patriarch have gotten into isn’t politics, it is merely a matter of standing up to what is right vs what is evil. Politics isn’t the assasination of 14 march members, it isn’t the occupation of HA militants of west beirut and the rest of the south, it isn’t drafting FPM members to training camps to turn them on their brothers and sisters. Politics in your understanding equate to an open-ended slow death of the church amongst many things, it equate to turning brothers against each other.

It is time the maronites started flocking back to the home land.

In the name of the father, the son, and the wholly spirit.

    Arze,
As a former Aounist, this is my letter to you. Believe my, it took me a long time to figure that Aoun is dispensable, selfish and ignorant to our cause. How does he explain to those that supported him in 1989 his current position. His alliance with the dirty bastard Nasrallah, the dirtier bastard Franjieh and the dirtiest bastard We’am Wahab is inexcusable. We fought along Aoun and lost dear ones (mass graves in Baabda) against the mentioned Syrian Puppets. Aoun sold our cause for his own personal interest to become a president. Whereas, the Hakeem stood fast by his beliefs throughout history. Wake up and smell the coffee, Hakeem is going to dominate the Christian scene in Lebanon. I was man enough to leave the sick man know as Aoun for a hero called Samir Geagea. Don’t miss out, make your move.

Too much replies yet little time !

im gonna reply to ghass :) u can find me , but when u do im gonna get you …so hard ur gonna curse the second u wrote this comment

The rest ! Aoun is not my leader , Christ is my only leader..

Concerning what the patriarch did on 2000 , u really think the patriarch would have called for this if it wasnt from the americans :) knowing they will force the syrians years after that ? Americans plans 50 years ahead…so believe if the power was in the hand of The patriarch , he would asked geagea to be released from jail when he was there , and Aoun to come back and would have asked the syrians to leave so please

All what i was saying ….is that i understand what the opposition did , and what frenjieh said ….im not justifying it ! i understand it ! The patriarch is a man of GOD to serve Other man and preach his word to the sinners which is everyone on this blog including me !

God never assigned the patriarch to Say if Geagea is right or Aoun is wrong ! Because when ghass will die , and i will die and n10452 will die , and go to judgement day , God wont say Because ur aounist ur going to hell and because ur Geageist ur going twice to hell to ! He will judge u on ur faith and on what u gave on this good earth !

And here comes the role of the church to teach and preach us , to reach perfection in heaven ! not Perfection in POLITICS !

I forgive all who threats me :) or disrespected my comment ! but still waiting for u ghass ;)

  • 40. philo | January 19th, 2008 at 3:34 pm

thks N for not putting my comment it shows how much there is freedom on this blod

  • 41. Tareq | January 19th, 2008 at 4:10 pm

Arze I’m sorry you’re missing the point… You can not “understand” what Franjieh did you can agree with it or you can condemn it…I don’t see you or any Aouni leader condemn it…Even MP Abu Naser he say he “feel sorry” you can not feel sorry in politics you have to take a choice!

The Church is not interfering in small detail of politics it is telling its choice for the future of Lebanon…The church cannot live in Nasrallah Islamic state or Syria Baath state, what you want them to do?…Stay silent because they are in religion??…If Bin Laden can make USA like the Taliban regime you think the American church will sit silent?

If you say you are Christian you should worry about your church first before politics like the Shi3a they do with Nasrallah and the Sunnis they do with the Mufti…

    Good luck

  • 42. Abou Hatab | January 19th, 2008 at 11:33 pm

  • 43. Michele | January 20th, 2008 at 7:44 am

Tarek, it’s funny that u mentioned the killing in the church coz my uncle was one of his victim and he was a priest.

As for the supporters of Frangieh and Aoun, i’m shocked to find out that they are ok in attacking the Patriarch.
    What’s next?
