I posted this over a month ago.
Hezbollah blocking government formation

Hezbollah is still putting obstacles either directly or remotely through its puppet Aoun.

First it was the presidential elections, now it’s time to undermine the Sunnite position and weaken it until reaching a compromise.

And all under what name ?
National Unity & Reconciliation …

Lebanese should understand that Hezbollah still did not digest its loss in the elections and is trying to turn it into some sort of a fake victory somehow.

Latest reports speak of Hezbollah financing certain salafists groups in the North to cause unrest & create frictions within the Sunnite ranks.

  • 13. avi | August 29th, 2009 at 12:06 pm

paul no apparently some christians and the sunnis in lebanon much more than Israel…..predictable from a terrorist militia to terrorize to rule….so predictable.

  • 14. Elie.F | August 29th, 2009 at 12:31 pm

    Walla azka shi hinni HA:

1: They split the Christians in 2005 when they backed up 14 Adar in regions and 3aou in other,

2: They split the Sunna by backing up 14 Adar in regions and 8 Adar in other,

3: They split the Druze by backing up Erslan in regions and Jumblat in other,

Yi3ni split and conquer, walla toli3 minkon shi ya ma7roomeen.

All the story is that HA in their own statement said that the main key of their victory in July war was the telecommunications, now IMBASSIL is their best slave and key and they can not lose him and lose this vital matter, so in order to skip this SHI3A-SUNNIT conflict especially in this Ramadan month they prefer to leave 3AOU shout alone and behaving that they are supporting him, they same as they did when he was aiming for presidency, they made him dream and when the truth came they dumped him.

Now the problem of HA is that ERSLAN-Wahhab and Jumblat are getting along, so they lost the key of Druze conflict,

The Sunna are getting along, in fact Karami and El7oss where and are never a threat for Hariri, so another key for Sunna conflict is lost for HA,

That keeps the Christians, that is what they are aiming at now, they are depending on their faithful D.O.G 3aou, and their stupid retarded Franjieh, but the problem is that Geagea is not listening to all HA’s threat and sure he will not make their day, so another key lost infront of the nose of HA,

At the end, that will leave HA alone with the INTL Tribune since he will not have anyone to hide behind, and then we will see how faithful SYRIA is to HA.

    Yalla nshalla kheir.

  • 15. avi | August 29th, 2009 at 12:36 pm

Elie I agree it is an predictable conclusion to years of terrorism practiced by this militia called hezbollah….lets hope they change also……because peace in Lebanon or with Israel can not be reached with out them actually!whether I like it or not…..

  • 16. avi | August 29th, 2009 at 12:39 pm

That’s why I place my hope on Lebanon changing and progressing since it is the same secterian problem plaguing my own country too!

  • 17. avi | August 29th, 2009 at 12:43 pm

Matter of fact everything is linked in the Middle east and one problem solved leads to another problem having to be solved because the first problem was solved so the atmosphere changed.this is my theory and i hope it leads to peace….and not only friendship but real peace and prosperity between all Semites.

  • 18. paul | August 29th, 2009 at 12:46 pm

avi@13 not in the long view they can’t survive when they make more or less the whole world an enemy.

  • 19. avi | August 29th, 2009 at 12:59 pm

Every civilization survives Paul that’s the key to peace to think one can eliminate a whole nation like Hitler in 1943 or the Ottoman empire with the Armenians or what happened in the Darfur in Africa recently is the product of poor education…the key to peace between Israel and Lebanon is education and I think exchanges between the 2 peoples on internet or in foreign countries for example Turkey or France this will help to restrain all the fear that produces nothing else but racism and hate.

  • 20. avi | August 29th, 2009 at 1:02 pm

But unfortunatly not every one in Lebanon or Israel has acsess to real education therefor giving room for extreme ideals based on mistrust hate and lies.

  • 21. avi | August 29th, 2009 at 1:04 pm

to want to eliminate one’s neighboor is called war to want to comprimise with one’s neighboor leads to peace.

  • 22. avi | August 29th, 2009 at 1:10 pm

And if I want peace I will have to compromise with Lebanon Palestine and Syria just like was done with egypt and Jordan, then the region will be safe and the whole game will evolve into defending this peace.

  • 23. avi | August 29th, 2009 at 1:15 pm

We should all use our history and our mistakes for the sake of peace…and we all made mistakes that’s how the wars and divisions in our region persisted giving fuel to those fighting.

  • 24. avi | August 29th, 2009 at 1:24 pm

and by the way I am not an Israeli leftist like you might think i am for Tsipi Livni politically, the one who should be leading Israel….oh another mistake…..

  • 25. avi | August 29th, 2009 at 1:50 pm

I also read about gemayel’s speach in Brazil asking for the implementation of the 1949 cease fire agreement and indirect negociations on borders between our 2 countries…..well bashir’s memory maybe does live on!I hope this man has enough power in Lebanon to convince the other parties that this is the only way…..

  • 26. Ra'fat | August 29th, 2009 at 1:52 pm

Obviously, and sadly if the elections taught us something, it taught us that HA is not part of Lebanon, but Lebanon is part of the HA nation. Whether we like it or not, nothing, and I mean nothing will happen without HA’s blessing. So khalas ba2a bala haki, la2annou killou ma ba2a yinfa3….

  • 27. avi | August 29th, 2009 at 1:54 pm

well that’s too bad Raafat ,to not respect the wish of the majority of the people is playing with fire…….
