Hakim didnt say his last word yet ..
Posted by N10452Dr.Geagea has not yet supported Sleiman’s candidacy and has met Sheikh Amine Gemayel yesterday to discuss that issue.
It is indeed a very critical decision to take, and will have a major impact on the Christians as a whole. I am not sure how much LF supporters or even M14 supporters will digest the idea of having another army general as a president, and on top of all that, a general close to Syria.
The LF is in a very sensitive position that will determine the next 6 years of us Christians.
Neither Aoun is a feasible solution nor Sleiman is in my opinion.
Dr.Geagea should stay on his principles, and abide by what he stated few months ago, and most importantly respect the patriarch’s initiative and demands …
I sense something is gonna happen and turn everything upside down.

but anyway, i dont see how DSG and 14march chrsitians will be able to convince WJ, and SH to change their minds….

I don’t believe in DSG anymore, he disappointed me since he went out of jail and the latest blunders are unforgivable, I guess i was fooled by the things el rife2 used to tell me about him when i was in the school, I am seeing in Aoun more of a Christian.

- الجنرال يغير مشروعه ويأخذ المسيحيين رهينة الى حيث لا يريدون
- الجنرال ينكر تمثيل جميع المسيحيين الآخرين نواب أو غير نواب
- الجنرال يتصادم مع مشروع الدول كلها والشرعية الدولية للبنان
- الجنرال يتعاطف مع قوة إقليمية حائزة على غضب العالم كله
- الجنرال يطرح شعارات وبرامج مستحيلة التطبيق ويرفض الرجوع عنها
- الجنرال يسهم في عرقلة إنتخاب رئيس الجمهورية
- الجنرال يطرح نفسه البديل الوحيد ولا يقبل بأي إسم آخر
- الجنرال يهدد بالشارع وبمحاكمة كل من يخالف مشروعه

- خلو سدة الرئاسة وعدم إجراء إنتخابات للخلف
- الجنرال يخدم مشروع سوريا وحلفائها في لبنان
- سوريا تصبح أكثر قوة وفعالية وتأثيرأ على الحياة السياسية اللبنانية
- إضعاف موقع المسيحيين في مرحلة مهمة ودقيقة من تثبيت الأحجام
- إرغام المسيحيين على القبول بتنازلات دونية للخروج من الوضع الراهن
- إرغام المسيحيين على القبول برئيس دون المواصفات المطلوبة
- إخراج المسيحيين من الحضور الفاعل في الحياة السياسية
- إحباط المسيحيين وإقصائهم يؤدي الى هجرة كبيرة وخلل ديمغرافي يصعب تصحيحه
هل هذا الوصف هو لعام 1989 أم لعام 2007؟؟؟؟؟؟
ما أشبه الأمس باليوم
وما أشبه جنرال الأمس بجنرال اليوم
فالجنرال هو هو أمس اليوم وإلى الأبد
يبقى التمني أن يعي اللبنانييون عموماً والمسيحيون خصوصاً مدى الضرر الذي تسببه يومها ويتسببه اليوم الجنرال بالمجتمع المسيحي في لبنان وبالتوازنات اللبنانية وهو الذي يدعي المحافظة على حقوق المسيحيين.
ويبقى الأمل ألا تكون خاتمة هذا الوضع في 2007 مأساوية كما كانت في 1989 وألا تؤدي الى خسارة جديدة لصلاحيات المسيحيين وقدرتهم على المشاركة في السلطة لأن الخسارة هذه المرة ستكون قاسية… لا بل قاضية…

I highly doubt it .. i dont think M14 are pricks and backstabbers like the other team … you ll be starting a civil war by doing so ..

i don’t think he has a large effect, especially if they all agreed. Neither the number of LFs MPs nor the numbers/activity of supporters are in his favor.
He will go with the flow.
Mira Keyrouz, I may understand your comments on Geagea’s blunders, I suppose I share them too, but seeing a more Christian in Aoun is one hell of a blunder from your side
