Geagea slams Aoun …

Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea on Friday slammed Free Patriotic Movement leader MP Michel Aoun for saying that “LF promotes non-Christian values” in his Wednesday interview.
In a speech before student delegations from LU and LAU universities, Geagea stressed: “We have never asked General Aoun to give us his certification neither in Christian values nor in patriotic values.”

“General (Aoun) says that his values are based on virtues, love, faith, and hope, and that statement is true. His values are based on lust for power and faith that Hizbullah and Syria represent the historical benefactors for reaching to that power. They’re also based on hope as Hizbullah and Syria work on eradicating every free Christian off the General’s path through the approach we’ve witnessed in the last 4 years or the methods we’ve witnessed in the last 15 years,” added Geagea.

LF leader said that the situation on the southern borders would have been “100 times more stable than it is now” if the Lebanese Army and UNIFIL “existed alone” in that area. Geagea was commenting on Aoun’s statement that said: “Hizbullah’s arms are for defending Lebanon and creating stability on the borders.”

“March 14 forces act according to a principle that is in line with the principle of history and its movement, as the other forces — and I don’t know if we can label them like that except for Hizbullah which is truly a movement – have ideologies and political agendas that oppose the course of history and its principle,” added Geagea.

وردا على قول النائب عون ان “القوات تربي جيلاً على الكراهيّة والحقد وإستعمال العنف”، استشهد ببعض المحطات الإعلامية للعماد عون، فذكر بما “أعلنه الجنرال أمام وفد من طلاب كلية الهندسة في 17 كانون الأول 2005 بأن “كل من يعيركم ما بيطلع…”، وكذلك في 21 شباط 2006 عندما قال أنّ “فتية قلائل يستطيعون إشعال سوليدير الّتي تساوي 70 مليار دولار”، من هنا اتوجه للرأي العام سائلاً “من الذي يعلّم النّاس على الكراهية والحقد وإستعمال العنف؟، وفي الإنتخابات الفرعيّة للمتن الشمالي في 5 آب 2007 توجّه العماد عون إلى الرّئيس أمين الجميّل بالقول ” إنتَ شايف حالك, ما بتوصل لتحت …”، أهذه هي الفضائل المسيحية التي يتباهى بها العماد عون؟. أمّا في 8 أيلول 2008 فتناول الجنرال عون الإعلام بالقول “هؤلاء أقلام رخيصة تتعاطى الدعارة الإعلامية ولا تتعاطى الإعلام”، فأين التربية في هذا الكلام؟”. وفي 2 شباط 2009 قال عون “سنقطع لسان من يتطاول علينا ونكسر يدّ من تمتدّ لنا”، وفي 17 آب 2009 قال عون “إذا مش عاجبكن جبران باسيل دقّوا راسكن بالحيط وإذا ما كافاكم في حيط الصين الكبير”. أهكذا نربي شبابنا على هذه الفضائل؟ أترك الجواب برسم الرأي العام

    I’ll tell you , it came from samir geagea the great who threatened to open tar2i al matar by force but failed to do so and instead he opened fire on Mark houwayek and friends for no logical reason…Way 2 go 7akim !!

    Some people have experienced the power of being in power ( al amru li geagea).. ana akid 2inun cht2o la iyem zamen.. After a couple of drinks on friday night, i have now experienced being the most handsome man in America. Does this make me the most handsome man ?? NOOO ! The same theory applies to geagea, he thinks he’s the man when in fact he isn’t !! This is exactly why we need new leaders in Lebanon.
