Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea said Monday Hizbullah does not want a civil war in Lebanon, contrary to Syrian President Bashar Assad’s regime that works to ignite such a civil strife.
Geagea made the remark in an address to the Lebanese community in Los Angeles.
“Had Hizbullah accepted Syria’s plans to start a civil war we would have been in civil war,” Geagea said.
Hizbullah, he added, “does not want a civil war because it is not part of its strategy.”
“The Syrian regime is trying to hurl Lebanon into civil war, but did not succeed due to weakness of its allies,” Geagea added.
He said the International Tribunal “would not only expose those who killed ex-Premier Rafik Hariri (in 2005) but would also disclose who killed Maarouf Saad (in 1975) and who committed all the other crimes.

Thats weird…I thought he always blamed hezbollah to adapt syrian plan in Lebanon …Have the americans rejected him in the US so hes changing his tonality ?
2. Rodge | March 25th, 2008 at 12:45 am
Dr. Geagea raised a good issue here.
Arze, he didn’t contradict himself, yes sometimes you can implement a big part of a plan while refusing the other part, and that’s what HA is doing, implementing a part of the Syrian - Iranian plan, or let me say the Iranian plan related to its ideology and targets, while he still refusing to go all the way with the Syrians, even Iran is not accepting or approving all what the Syrians want.
So it is not wierd, the wierd is not to understand the idea of Dr. Geagea, who proved once more that he’s a fair and straight politician, and above all a true and full Lebanese politician.

It seems like the junblat influence is kicking toward 7akim and gangs lately. Bokra HA bissir 7alifkon.
ALI1559!
Are you safe bro?
4. KL | March 25th, 2008 at 4:07 am
Rodge
You are wrong . Very wrong , Why all of the sudden 7akimo changes his mind and where in america ?????? I mean come on man, you cant jump into conclusions just bcoz . Hakim messed up just admit it and move on. Otherwsie , I am going to beleive ali1559 views over yours ?!!
5. Rodge | March 25th, 2008 at 4:18 am
KL,
Ur problem is that u’re already believing in Ali’s views, so i don’t see any point to argue with you.
You and ur friends, and while accusing Hakim of being pro US etc, are saying at the same time that sometimes he don’t do what they ask him to do. so you should be convinced that among the accusation process, everyone is given some room for maneuvres, so I should tell you come on, and i should repeat it again, at least have some respect for his 11 years in prison, and don’t try to find reasons and justifications to undermine this sacrifice.
U’re so stuffed with the idea of America and Israel and the conspiracy theory, that’s why you will stay where you are now and will not move a bit.
6. Rodge | March 25th, 2008 at 4:22 am
Tayyar,
Once again i have to ask you nt to depend on others ideas, try to develop ur own for once.
But again, i will not achieve anything with you guys, since u’re perfectly brainwashed people, and the only good thing about you is that you did well your homework in memorizing the lessons thay are teaching you about the usual Cliches you should say everytime you don’t find anything to argue with.
Typical Aounists
7. kezballah | March 25th, 2008 at 4:29 am
Uff, there is already 3 Aounists jumping up and down happily because Geagea said Hezbollah doesn’t want civil war.
3 Aounist = 3 theories so far: It’s because the Americans rejected him! No it’s because he has Jumblat disease! No it’s because he discovered his mistake! Yaaaaaayy Geagea is wrong and Aoun is always right! We win we win win!
Well I am sorry to break the bad news to you, but this is not the first time M14 try diplomacy with the opposition, it is not the first time M14 try to separate the opposition from the Syrian master to defuse the explosion. It’s ok you are not used to it the only thing you know is the screaming of Aoun and Nasrallah all the time.
There is no surprise in what Geagea said, I think he is being too diplomatic that Hezbollah don’t want civil war, he should say they don’t want civil war publically because they can’t upset all the Sunnis in the world, they want it under the table that’s why they arm Wahhab and train the SSNP and the other traitors. But not everyone is like Aoun using insults all the time, some politicians try diplomacy sometimes, weird eh Aounists?
8. Michele | March 25th, 2008 at 8:15 am
This man amazes me more & more!!! I have never been a big fan of DSG but these days i’m coming to admire his eloquence. (or is it simply i’m comparing him to GMA :S)
It’s sad the Aounist didn’t understand his speech yet again i shouldn’t be surprised, when did they understand anything?
So Rodge n Kezballah don’t waste ur time replying back to them except for Arze, the poor girl must be feeling down now after all the attacks on her!
And hey Arze sweety, loved ur joke abt u being a man? R u trying to fool me coz i said that i was only into men???
I’ll still love u even if u were a little naughty girl
9. Johnny.B | March 25th, 2008 at 9:42 am
Hezballah doesn’t want civil war,
because they can do nothing in civil war ….
instead they ask israel to come and do the job for them …
just like it happened during july 2006 …
so to all aounist who support syria :”F#$% you, and F%^$K you momas for not teaching you logic”
Arze, F(*&K you
10. Jim | March 25th, 2008 at 10:38 am
Hizbullah, he added, “does not want a civil war because it is not part of its strategy can u aouni guys even know how 2read!! do u know wht hezb allahs strategy is??? if yes then shut up, if u still dnt knw then shut up 2

KL, Tayyar, Arze & CO…
This is nothing new, this is fact…when the circus started in dec 2006 Syria wanted m8 to invade the Serail. There was intervention from the saudi king and from the US both explaining clearly that this was a cassus belli. Syria and Michel Aoun still wanted to as they wish war but the Iranians have put a veto thus hizbis have imposed on their stupid allies to drop the invasion plan. Since then positions remained the same and Syria actively pushes for war while the Iranian are stopping hizbis from doing so. Hizbtiz is under the control of both Iran and Syria and on some subject they disagree…
Anyway if all the hizb wanted war then it would have started allready…there is some elements in the hizb which under Iranian infulence refuse to go into a war especially if it’s a sunni shia one…this is why the syrian mukhabarat gave so many weapons to wiiam wahhab, slimi frangié or fathi yakan, it’s because they know hizbis are not 100% reliable for going to war…

NIS 30 million in heroin seized in record Lebanon border bust
By Jack Khoury, Haaretz Correspondent
Police and IDF troops early Tuesday seized the largest shipment of pure heroin ever to be intercepted on the border with Lebanon, a total of 32.5 kilograms of pure heroin, worth some NIS 30 million.
Police Superintendent Ami Mualem, commander of the force’ Lebanon border unit, told Haaretz that a joint police-IDF patrol in the Biranit area detected two men with large packs on their backs.
Police arrested the two, and were shocked the find the large amount of heroin in the backpacks, Mualem said.

“This was the largest quantity of heroin ever captured on the northern border,” he added.
The two suspects were from Rama village and have criminal records related to drug smuggling, police said.
They stressed that the case had no connection with the recently disclosed arrest of an IDF non-commissioned officer suspected of having provided classified information to Hezbollah, which allegedly compensated him with quantities of drugs.

I think what Hakim said will really increase the pressure towards the Syrian regime, after all HA and all others are just puppets and part of a Syrian- Iranian occupation.

I have never even gotten in a debate with you; I mean spare me the headache.
Second,
I have never pulled a michel aoun (running away like a little rabit).
The only times I stop arguing is when your lover Ali starts calling the LF thugs, Israeli agents…
The thing about Allouch is that he’s like a pot-head; he writes all these long “theories” thinking he’s blowing our minds when in reality, he’s just taking Al Manar’s news broadcast and making it sound a little more suffisticated.
36. Michele | March 27th, 2008 at 7:32 am

As one ******* is not enough
37. Mickel | March 27th, 2008 at 9:23 pm
I know Michele
It’s like he’s the president of his fanclub or something!
Nowadays the FPMers aren’t asking Hezbollah to teach them new excuses that they can use, they’re just hiding behind them and letting them do all the work.
