  This is what the Catholic church did hundreds year ago and now they regret it ! and they apologized from all these excommunication they did !

  The patriarch is a man like u and me , who decided ot serve God on his own way , like u serve God on ur way , like i serve God my own way , like every HUMAN who has his own path to serve God

  YES the PAtriarch is equal to franjieh , geagea , aoun , u and me ! The patriarch is not GOD ! PUT THAT IN MIND !

  Democracy at its best. There is nothing wrong with sleiman bayk’s statement. He was a little aggressive toward the patriarch but didnt throw any personal insult. I dont know why you guys get so pissed off every time this young leader (sleiman bayk) goes on tv and support his situation as a leader or as a maronite??????????

  1) it’s a question of respect . The Christian ”Leader” should respect the head of the Church if they are part of it

  2) You are totally wrong about the excommunications hundreds of years ago the Church had an Army it functioned as a normal State & they used excommunication as a weapon that’s why the Roman Catholic Church apologized

  What if it was 7assouna who was being insulted and that person insulting him was attacked ??

  What if the prophet was insulted ?? he is a normal man isnt he ??

  If u wanna be democratic, start with urself before preaching about it ..

  There is nothing anti-democratic about excommunicating Frangieh from the church
  he belongs to that church and must abide to its rules, and i am sure one of the rules involved respecting the head of the church ..

  Ali, I do not think that it is for you to judge whether the statements of Slimy are acceptable or not. This is a Christian mainly maronite issue and should be resolved between that group, as it has nothing to do with democracy or politics but rather religion.
  and since we are on the subject i think you are the last person to speak about freedom of speech toward religious figures(if that!) when u cant stand a person even caricaturing your supreme leader Hassan Nasrallah without being physically and verbally violent, on the pretense of him being a religious figure…
  So please, this does not concern you, nor does it concern me for that matter…

  Ali 1559 if you want to talk Action Reaction you have to know the complete history…Sleiman grandfather the President he shoot innocent people in church and run to Syria and Sleiman father Tony he order the killing of Joud Bayeh the Kataeb leader in the North and many Kataeb member… The reaction like you say is the Kataeb attack on that mafia man Tony Franjieh… Innocent people were killed on both sides not one side only…that is what mafia and militia wars do and it is the Franjieh mafia who start it.

  FYI Franjieh used personal insult on the Patriarch in NBN interview he call him keshtbanjeh in arabic which is like crook, he call him senile (kherfen) because he is 90 years old and he forget what Franjieh tells him, the Patriarch don’t forget he don’t accept what Franjieh say because this young leader you call him he is a Syrian dog. Can you ask Italians why don’t like this young leader Mousolini who is Hitler’s dog?

  I don’t think it will makes any difference for this fag frangieh if he was speeled out of the Maronite church, i thinh his actions spelled him long time ago.
  When someone does not know how to apologize, and yet continue to challenge his church, it (and I use “it” here because frangieh is not a human being, an animal only) will not be affected because it doesn’t care except about its master Bashar.

  As for you Ali1559, and since as it seems you came back from your vacation, i don’t think you have any right to interfere in this matter, and when you talk about democracy, you should start with your own people. In fact the guys here replied sufficiently to you and i will not add, i will leave you to continue beating urself, after all it is Ashoura today.

  can somebody please explain to me how come frangieh have followers if you listen to the guy talking ,nothing intelligent in his conversation,not to say he is stupid ,he always put his foot in his mouth.i would like to see his IQ test .we are giving to much importance i think he said those things about the patriarch because he needs attention .

  GARY good point but I know why Franjieh has followers…Franjieh come from Feudal family they always have follower especially in the small village for example you ask some Druze why they vote for Junblat or Arslan they say because their father he is with him…

  And when you look some of our friends here on the Blog like Ali 1559 he hates Geagea because he say Geagea killed people in the war but after that he wants us to love Franjieh who comes from a family of killers and has the Marada militia…he even hide the killer of two LF young men in 2005 and he is best friend of Bashar Assad the master killer of Syrian and Lebanese…So it is not about killing, some people like Franjieh because they want to destroy the free spirit of Christian in Lebanon that LF and Kataeb fights for…Now they love Aoun because he is on this project of destroying LF and Kataeb…I feel sorry for them because if they win they will get Khomeini rule in Iran and if they lose they will get Saddam end on the rope.

  ذكرت صحيفة “السياسة” الكويتية عن مصادر موثوقة، ان الرئيس السوري بشار الاسد، وبخ الوزير السابق سليمان فرنجية، في اتصال هاتفي، اول من امس، على الانتقادات التي وجهها للبطريرك الماروني الكاردينال مار نصر الله بطرس صفير، وأبلغه انه اختار اللحظة الخاطئة لاطلاق اتهاماته كون هذه الانتقادات أدت الى استثارة الشارع المسيحي، مما ألحق الضرر بالمعارضة وحلفاء النظام السوري وتحديدا العماد ميشال عون.

  واكد المصدر ان الاسد طلب من فرنجية المسارعة في رأب الصدع مع صفير وتقديم الاعتذار له بالطريقة التي يراها مناسبة، موضحا ان فرنجية ابلغ الاسد انه سيعقد مؤتمرا صحافيا وهو ما قام به امس، لايضاح موقفه من بكركي، ولتمرير اعتذار للبطريرك صفير بأسلوبه الخاص.

  واشار المصدر الى ان الاسد حض فرنجية ان يكون دقيقا في تنفيذ المهمات الموكولة اليه، لافتا الى ان الوزير السابق اعترف بخطئه ووعد بأن يكون دقيقا اكثر.

  Rodge, i think Ali was in Ashora and not on vacation…

  As i said before, i lost my uncle who was a priest in one of their disgusting shootings in a church.
  Grand was the hapinness of my grandfather when he heard abt the killing of Tony Frangieh…

  I wonder if Ali, would be happy if we insult Nasrallah??
  What amazes me, is Aoun is against the patriarch for “dealing in politics” when he is part of a group whose leader is a religious person, not only he deals in politics but he allows himself to take the decison regarding the peace and war in Lebanon.

  Guys don’t be harsh on Arzé, i’m sure she’s young and ignorant who’s repeating whatever is told to her.

  Come on…give a breack, stop saying the lf respects others, or at least do it somewhere other then here. This whole blog is about insulting others. Here a recap othe reoccurent themes: aoun is an idiot and a dog, nasrallah is an idiot and a dog, frangieg is the same, all m8 are idiots and dogs and bramil crap. We hate syria, syria is the enemy, we should declare war on syria and kill anyone who deals with them. All the mentioned above are iranian agents. Israel isnt that, so what if it killed couple thousand lebanese, its not like they were all christians/maronite hence, real lebanese. US is the best we love so much, we want it here in lebanon. Christians are the best, any place that doesnt have christians in lebanon is doomed. We believe that sectarian strives are the best thing that happend to this country. Lets rewrite history and make it look as if shiaas and syrians were responsible for all the bad things that happened to lebanon even the thing we know that we did. We really dont like the lebanese army, we should not help reinforce the army. Ok, so the army can work us for and save us from the evil muslims in the future.now we support the army, but we hate its leader. Heres a list of army personnel that should be “dealt” with. Oops, on of the people on the list is killed, it must be syria. We need peace with israel, so we now believe tawtin is a good idea. Thats exactly what this blog is about and i can point u to every article im talking about. If u goes would stick to spreading ur own party’s ideology instead of the just spreading insults to others, this would have been a much more respectable blog or at least a more “christian” blog. Only then u could take the initiative ta ask other idiots to be expelled from the church.

  well Darko this is how u see things from ur point of view ! and i do accept that their are many people that should be expelled from the maronite church and one of them to start with is Aoun. but you are giving a solution that does not make sense ( to eliminate all people that deal with syria and syria its self)because u know already that most of our people are not ready for war anymore and HALF of the lebanese population stand with Syria just like Dogs ! we have passed through alot of problems and we L.F are the only reason Christians are still standing in All Lebanon. the only way to solve our problems is eather by negotiation or (TOKSIM).

  Darko you will make a good Aounist and M8 supporter…you play on words to confuse us and then you get confused with your play so you call us dumb…you should become friend with Danni he is the same way…

  This blog is not to insult others and call them dogs it is to call the dogs by their real name…we call Nasrallah/Aoun/Franjieh dogs because they are the same thing not because we want to insult everyone…we respect the Patriarch and we support M14 even if we don’t like someone in M14…so how we are insulting everyone?

  If someone on the blog say Israel is good to kill Lebanese it don’t mean all suport him…but if some Lebanese want to fight and kill with Israel then we will not cry for them they choice to die…My advice don’t be confused open your eyes to see the good and bad don’t look for bad all the time you will be confused when you don’t find it…
