  This is ridiculous N. On the one hand YOU criticize Aoun for attacking Bkerki an don the other you still criticize him for trying to work out differences with him. This meeting was planned and both men agreed that the meeting was a good idea…It has nothing against LF. We should all encourage such meetings in order to promote better communications among all christian parties including LF.

  If Aoun is going there “metel el kaleb”, why was he INVITED to a meeting that NO OTHER non-cleric has ever attended? Geagea doesn’t even get that privilege.

  Dear friends, this has nothing to do with LF or Aoun running to the Batrak, this is simply both realizing that they should reconcile for the following reasons:

  1) Harriri and Jumblat are reconciling with Syria
  2) Syria and Saudi reconciled
  3) Jumblat reconciled with Hezbollah
  4) Harriri will soon

  All sects parties and powers are reconciling except for the christians, so el Batrak and Aoun BOTH realized that if they continue down that path while others move on, they will BOTH get screwed.

  Also they both found out the following:

  1) Despite all the weight and attacks that the Batrak has waged against Aoun, Aoun still won the elections (ESPECIALLY IN KESSERWAN) proving that he has as much influence over the maronites as the batrak.

  2) Despite Aoun’s victory in the christian districts he too realized that there was a large difference between the current and the previous viictory, one of the reasons being the batrak, and therefore realized that continuing to fight him is pointless and destructive.

  3) After how Harriri treated the M14 christians, Batrak realized that Hariri is not that “great guy” and that Aoun is well respected amongst hsi allies, not the other SERVANTS.

  I personally hope this continues and that soon Sami Gemayel joins them.

  For your knowledge the caporal has been requesting several times to go to Bkerke…and the decision was that the Bishops wanted to show him with force that all of them were in total support with the Batrak…so they “invited” him at their meeting to sit, speak, and listen!!! He was told many things…many many things…that cannot be shared on a blog…

  Look at him, he is a big liar, he changes with the wind, he is hignhly corrupted (money), he has become utterly rich, he says one thing (against feudalism…but defends and protects his SON-in-law; who by the way is now a multimillionnaire), he accepts corruption in the Tayyar (look at AbiRamia and Co. now millionnaire who a few years ago had no money to take a taxi); he is a man who accepts no remarks, doesn’t listen and make false promises (where are the democratic elections he promised within the Tayyar?); he behaves like a little Hitler, he is a real dictator and never accepts the smallest remark from anyone in the Tayyar; he makes friends with highly corrupted people (ex. Isam Fares, and before him with Michel El Murr), he is the politician who uses most insulting words (worse than Chavez, and Ahmadihijab); he is on heavy drugs for his nerves; and above all he has been cheating his followers who trusted every word and followed him BLINDLY …without discussion…with total trust and confidence…

  Is this a man worth of trust and confidence???

  As you can read today in the newspapers, the information I gave on this blog (# 29) about the visit of the caporal to Bkerke was entirely exact: HE REQUESTED THE MEETING, and was invited there to explain himself in front of all the bishops who were very displeased with him for a long time. (Full Stop).

  They showed him something very important: 1) a total and complete support of all the bishops to the Batrak; 2) it was not the Batrak ONLY who was displeased with him but all the Bishops; 3) future similar behaviour is not acceptable.

  Many followers have waken up. Many important people have left the Tayyar. They were close to the caporal and are now telling people the truth (do you remember the report by the USA in 1987 : Aoun has an IQ next to zero?..this is the reason he hates America so much…).

  I gave many details and inside info about the caporal, which as you can see, proved all to be true and exact.

  There is a huge internal battle inside the Tayyar…which im-Bassil is conducting since 2 years. He has gained lots of power, but to win he needs to finalize:”get rid of the old guard”! Many important people are forbidden from Rabiyeh (these people helped enormously the caporal to reach his maximum between 1987 and 1990)
  The question that remains unknown, is how will the caporal will “feel” when physically separated from them and not being SURROUNDED by the most faithful anf loyal guard?
  My analysis – knowing him extremely well – is that if deprived from their support, he won’t be able to cope with it emotionally…
  At the present time, no one is daring to tell him the truth about the losses in his popularity…they hide it with lots of “rationalizations” which won’t stand long.
  My predictions are that the consequences will be disastrous in less than one year time!!!!!
