A reply to Sheikh Jabri
Posted by N10452Here is a reply to Sheikh Jabri who disrespected the Patriarch Mar Nasrallah Boutros Sfeir in a statement earlier last week.
This Sheikh is a member of “Tajjamo3 3oulama2 el Sunna” and is known to be close to Hezbollah.
عميد كلية الدعوة وعضو “تجمع علماء السنة” الشيخ عبد الناصر الجبري المعروف بمواقفه المؤيدة لـ”حزب الله”
No one should be allowed to come close of the Patriarch and i was hoping Christian parties (LF- Kataeb) respond to this Sheikh and blast him. I dont expect anything from Aoun since he gladly opened the way for his allies to mock the Patriarch (Frangieh, HA etc ..) by disrespecting him continuously.
here is what he wrote earlier :

instead of engaging in an enlightened dialogue, this guy is lokking for an argument that only exarcebates the already bad rhetoric among all parties…dragging religious personalities in the mud is not a positive development. I hope that patriarch Sfeir will remain above this and take the high road….as far as I am concerned, let Jabri say what he wants, ignoring him is the best course of action at this time.

My father repeatedly told me when I was a kid:”Never should a maronite criticize our Patriarch and Bkerke”.
The General of Rabyieh is INSANE to have started that! I forgive “Frangieh-the-kid” ….it is not his fault if he has no education.
The General of Rabiyeh has created hatred among CHRISTIANS… this is NOT the message of the CHRIST our LORD.
P.S.: It is nice to listen to the NEW MILLIONNAIRE ABI RAMIA (Min 2ayna laka HAZA?) talking about a future with NO MILITIAS !!!!! Does this message apply to Hezbollah also????

Where is your so called freedom of speach with your so called bigotery….
Anyone is free to critisize the patriarche, same as the mufti or Hassan Nassralah….i don’t see you respect the head of the Shiaas a lot in this blog, why do you expect the others to respect your Patriarche, especially when he involves himself in the narrow issues of Lebanese politics….
You’ll start to build a modern and free Lebanon, when you stop listening to those hypocryts calling themselves religious….
I think Patriarche Sfeir will go in the dark pages of the history, with the mufti and all other religious leaders.where is he from Pope JhonPaul 2 spirit god bless his soul….

Ado the Pope John Paul 2 was the most religious politician in history maybe, the USA always say he helped them to destroy the Soviet, I think you cannot stop religious people from saying an opinion in politics because they are Lebanese citizen too, but you can stop them from running the politics if you change the government so we have no more sectarian position. The problem is the Islam = Government so your Muslem population will not accept, even in Turkey they want to make it Islamic after 100 years secular system. If you are fair you will say Patriarch Sfeir is NOT the big problem.

ado says…
“….i don’t see you respect the head of the Shiaas a lot in this blog, why do you expect the others to respect your Patriarche, especially when he involves himself in the narrow issues of Lebanese politics”…
It seems you are loitering here now Mr. ado. When Qabalan and Sheik Fadlalah The spiritual leader of the Shiites and members of the Shiite Higher council always discuss politics and supremacy of their narcotic supported hizb el katala (HA for you) you do not find a problem? You talk about freedom of speach? …your convoluted definition of “free spreech” does not shock me. In civil societies inciting hatred is against the law. There’s a line that you are not allowed to cross. Stop attacking the religious figures just because they want a free and democratic Lebanon.
I really know I am talking to a brainwashed Syrian lackey who does not understand any logic. As for the “ulama” announcement…I think we should not bother we it. …do you bark back at a stray dog?

Paul,
Yes everyone should be free to critisize Sheik Jabri what’s his face,
Rima,
You are absolutly right, there is a big category of lebanese who are working on the islamization of Lebanon, and we all should should put hands together to stop that,we can either believe in Lebanon or believe in our confession, both things can t go along together, this is not Iran,Saudia or Vatican,Lebanon is a country for all,So the ones who want lebanon as a Shiaa country can leave and go to Iran,The ones who want a Sunicountry,SAudia is wide enough for them, and those who only see bekerke and patriarche, they’ll find what they want in Vatican….We can’t fight the islamization of lebanon, with christianizing speach,or vice versa,if so each confession will find a reason to hide behind its confession and we’ll loose our country…
Kezballa,
You are right Sfeir is not the bigest problem, the biggest problem is HIzbolla, the salafists, and our wonderfull neighbours(Syria and Israel),but you can’t deny that Sfeir is part of the problem,
I think we should give credit to good people even if they are from different confessions,I’m a Sunni,I live in tripoli and vote in akkar,i voted for one person in 2005,i was disgusted with both lists,i voted to a maronite, and i can’t find one muslim politician whom i agree with,my respect goes to people like Sheik Bashir Gemayel and Gibran Tueni,we should look at the ideas and patriotism of people not their confession.
And as a Sunni,i have to addmit that most muslims don’t believe in Lebanon as a final country for them, they believe in the Kawmiya 3arabiya and 3ourouba,(3ourouba w kawmia my ass),it was the christians that mostly worked for a lebanon i belive in,but to bad nowadays the christians has seized to believe in Lebanon, and are following a church not a country….

Danny,
Dude read me well should i cite everyone, well yes you are right, anyone that involves himself in politics can be critisized,Who said i agree with Quabalan or any shiaa mufti,???i bewlieve lebanon should be freed of them all…
And stop calling people who contradict your point of view Syrians and Iranians,i never said you are Israelite or American or Saudi….i know that all the people that post here believe in a free and modern lebanon, each one has his point of view about it,
Just let us stop looking at each others(the people i mean, not the politicians)as enemies, and say words fueled with hate, that can’t help us with our LEBANON,we all have to put hands together despite our different beliefes and work on a better country
Thanx for understanding

Ado, I agree with you, since you are Sunni from a important region can you tell us more what any ideas can be good to keep Lebanon one country and change to secular democracy after sometime? I don’t think it is important if there anotther Gebran Tueni and Bashir, I think it is important if there is more “Lubnan Awalan” Sunni and Chia, do you know how to make this happen? Also do you think Hariri believe in Lubnan Awalan? I think so but I want to know what you think.

freedom of speech is limited to the point where u cross other people freedom and in this case u can not really try to resemble patriarch sfeir and nasralla cause sfeir works for jesus nasralla work for blood= evil so critisizing nasralla is more limited than chritisizing :paul, john , marcus, lucas and Mat.

Kezballa,
I agree with you that we have to stride for “Loubnan Awwalan”,and especially to get the Chia and Sunnis to believe in that, and i think it’s a long way to go,but we have to begin from somewhere, begginig from ourselves, maybe having the right to go to the church or the mosque to pray, but don’t let that interfeer with our political views, and blind us to the extent of deffending the bad guys if they are from our religion,we should begin by pointing them out and critisize them(the people of our confession) before critisizing the others….We have to rid ourselves from our fanatisme that blinds us and only takes us towared the politician of our own religion, even if he’s not right. The problem is that the christian where so drunk with their grabbing the power when the Maronite president had all the power, that they created insecurity in the muslims souls, that when thise muslim had the chance they grabbed the power themselves, and the others where insecure,it’s a vicious circle we go through….
Speaches as i read in this blog(and other blogs, including opposition blogs)only fuel hate toward our fellow lebanese from different sects, and promote fanatisme, and can’t do any good for Loubnan Awwalan,
As for Saad Hariri,i don’t agree that he believes in Loubnan Awwalan,go ask him,he’s a Saudi first, and he’s fueling the sunni fanatisme for electoral purposes,
Delta,
Maybe in your beliefs Nasrallah is evil, and i respect that, the way you see it,but on the other hand some people see nasralla as an angel and you have to respect that, and vice versa for your patriarch,
All of you,
I want to stop seeing that hate fueled by lebanese, according to their confession, coz it’s not a country then…
I want a Lebanon where we can all live with our different ideas and beliefes….
I want a Lebanon that includes you,as much as you refuse me,
I want to be able to raise my son in love and peace, not worry if a sheik hates him because his mother is not veiled and his father drinks wine,or if a priest believes he’s bad just because he’s muslim….
I want him to be able learn in decent school and universities, and go to decent hospitals if he bgets sick without having to kiss Hariri’s or any powerfull politician’s ass to do so,coz it’s his right as lebanese citizin and a tax payer, not because he s christian, muslim or jew,
I want him to celebrate christmas with his christian friend and bring alone his christian friend to celebrate ramadam with us,
I want for all of us to free our minds from our stuppidities,me included,to be free to strive and vote for higher causes, like children’s rights and women’s right(yes Rima,i mean it)or maybe ecoligical issues and health issues, not spending our time, talking about your patriarch and your muftis….
Please let us think deeply, let us think about Lebanon, about our future and our sons future before we began hating and killing each others……
Thanx for understanding
23. Rodge | August 18th, 2008 at 6:27 pm
Rima,
Maybe u’re right, but I really resent any attack on Patriarche Sfeir, since I only believe in him as a real patriot and a straight and man of faith.
He’s like a father to all the Lebanese people, and as you said, you’re defending him eventhough u’re not Maronite, and I also know many Muslims defending him, not only Christians.
He’s the conscience of Lebanon, he stood in face of the Syrians and the Regime in Lebano when everybody were abiding.
God bless and protect our Patriarche, and all the ones who love him. I know I do.
24. Rima | August 18th, 2008 at 6:49 pm
It is unfair to compare Nasrallah to the Patriarch…Nasrallah is preaching death how many times we threatened to kill, and cut off peoples hand and head and ma baarif shou…he is not a religious figure he is a thug…the religious figure I respect is Mufti al Amin…
Apart from that Ado…I agree with you
Cheers

I disliked HARIRI (may his soul rests in peace). I disliked him because he has stolen the city centre for his own benefits, because he was a syrian agent and because he was a SAUDI (you cannot become a saudi citizen if you do not renegate your other citizenship…the Lebanese one), BUT when HARIRI went to the VATICANO to visit JOHN PAUL II, he declared: “The Patriarch is NOT the Patriarch of the Christians, HE IS THE PATRIARCH of the MUSLIMS, he is the PATRIARCH of ALL LEBANON and ALL Lebanese”.
28. Mountain | August 18th, 2008 at 9:48 pm

The General of Rabiyeh never forgets and never forgives (he is a man of HATRED). He hates the Patriarch from the days of 1989 - 1990, when Ambassador Richard MURPHY said:”It’s Mikhail DAHER or chaos”, and AOUN thought that the Patriarch was behind it.
More recently, the Patriarch tried to bring the Christians to unite, but the General of Rabiyeh “boycotted” the efforts.
In putting efforts to help the Christians unite, the Patriarch is not making POLITICS but acting RESPONSIBLY as a PASTOR. The Patriarch is doing his duties of being a good father “Abouna”.
It is the General of Rabiyeh who is the “DIVIDER”, now playing in the hands of EVIL.

Dear DELTA,
You are right. In ALL cases the GENERAL of RABIYEH has become a BIG LIAR, and he doesn’t need any logical arguments to insult the BATRAK.
Dear N,
Could you RECORD for the History of our country that the General of RABIYEH is progressively destroying the Christians in Lebanon.
36. kezballah | August 20th, 2008 at 4:44 am
Ado, Thank you for the detailed answer, it is not good news if you think Hariri is not for Lubnan Awwalan because 1- You are Sunni so you are probably close to the news about Hariri and 2- you are from Akkar where you have a lot of poor population so you are closer to the news of the people. SO unfortunately I have to take it seriously when you say it, BUT you are maybe too hard on Hariri. If I put myself in Hariri shoes what can I do? Iran is taking over Lebanon by using religious fanatics, we cannot forget this.
I think it is very hard to build a democratic Lebanon when you are surrounded by the Syrian dictator, the Israeli racist society, the Saudi conservative etc… I think the fate of Lebanon is to keep resisting to survive as much as possible but the big fish is swallowing the small fish in the end. The smart Lebanese are a small minority, the majority are followers of Za3im or religion and sect. We need a lot of money to get organized and fight against the crooks, but the young Lebanese are leaving and caring about only their future. I think we are becoming like the Syrian people, we get used this hopeless life…
