Hello – I’m writing from Poland and I’m Polish
Can you explain me the differences between Febanon Forces and Aoun movement? I’m interested in your history but I don’t understand many things…
    When will the elections begin?
    greetings
    Wojtek
    P.S.
    We remember Damour as well

  • 3. Tsomet | April 23rd, 2009 at 9:31 am

    Wojtek,
In simple words, Aoun Movement is affiliated to Syria and Iran with Iranian ambitions. Aoun’s movement signed a paper with Hizballah (An Iranian terrorist group) and since then they are allies and threatening the lebanese people with their weapons.

On the other side, the Lebanese Forces (LF)(Leaded by Samir Geagea) is a political party (WeaponLess) fighting for the independence, democracy and liberty of Lebanon.
LF is seeking peace, we had enough of wars and bombs… We want to build a lebanon powerful economically where our children can grow peacefully and normally.
Aoun’s movement is an ally of Iran and their only concern is waging wars in the region.

    Note. Both parties are christian

    Hi Wojtek,

    elections are on 7 june,

Lebanese forces are against the resistance (militia) Hizbulla, with europe and USA,

Aoun is with hizbulla and with syria and iran

  • 5. Wojtek | April 23rd, 2009 at 10:22 am

I know that Aoun is hezbollah friend – but why? HE IS CHRISTIAN! 3 years ago they (hezbollah) put rocket launchers in christians villages during the war with Israel… I can’t understand it…
Can you tell me – what is the situation of Christians in Lebanon now? Are they persecuating?

  • 6. N10452 | April 23rd, 2009 at 10:50 am

    Wojtek,
I am afraid you will start getting replies from Aounists claiming that they are representative of the Christians and that Hezbollah is for the Christians’ best.

To make things easier for you, the Christians because of their internal fighting ended up losing the war and signing Taef in 1990, and then being the only opponents to the Syrians, they were weakened and persecuted by the Syrians and their Muslim allies.

Today after the Hariri bombing, the Sunnite community in Lebanon stood up to the Syrians after a long awaited time and Hezbollah representing the Shiite community continued its blind alliance to the Syrians and Iranians against Lebanon’s interest ( under the pretext of fighting Israel).

Coming back to the Christians, the Syrian hegemony years have left them without real leaders, and this is how they are until today, divided between alliances that dont suit their interests.

Aoun claims to want their best and is allying to the Syrians and the terrorists to gain more seats.

The Lebanese Forces are still not back on their feet and allied to Anti-Syrian powers that have a very bad image in the Christian streets.

One can say that nowadays the Christians are persecuting themselves by getting divided over some seats, and we can only hope a wake up call will be launched soon by politicians ( i doubt) or the new generation to unite them again under one banner.

The Church have done its best as well but such unity requires political leaders.

    Wojtek
You came to the wrong place to learn about our history :)
in any case, whenever you will try to seek your information you will get very much confused because we as Lebanese write our history to our liking; strange enough we do not have a unified history book that is taught in our schools rather several ones!! this is why you will be so confused…my advice to you is not to waste your time, it is worthless: you will never find the truth of anything, rather twisted facts of the different political parties. You now have here LF for example who have been a militia more than half of their existence and are now accusing HA of being a militia; that’s your start point.
You will see now a reply to my post of some genius saying that LF is resistance etc…same vicious cycle, each decade or 2 you have a sect that is armed by a foreign power (previously LF by the US and Israel currently HA by Iran and Syria) and trying to play the strong on other sects: that is basically our history.
What is shameful is what we really are a disgrace to humankind: we are still defending all warlords based on stupid idealistic principals, same old people that killed us during the civil war
    Useless …

  • 9. Joseph | April 23rd, 2009 at 11:12 am

nothing to do with your discussion, but why wasn’t the NadimGemayel.org web site launched yet?

  • 10. ja3far | April 23rd, 2009 at 11:13 am

    awiye Lebanonhsh… awiye

  • 11. Wojtek | April 23rd, 2009 at 11:24 am

    thanks for yout answers.
And one question more: Is Samir GeaGea a lider like Bashir Gamyel? Is he able to unite Christians like Bshir Gamyel did? Why Christians don’t stand together? Is religious population rating changing in Lebanon? Before the War it was fifty-fifty christians and muslims (including Druze), but now?

  • 12. Michele | April 23rd, 2009 at 11:31 am

    Wojteck comrad, very simple math:

There’s Hezbollah; I won’t label it but i’m sure u already know who n what is hezbollah.
On their flag u read: “Islamic resistance in Lebanon”; and not “Lebanese Resistance”… quite clear.

Then u have Aoun, a christian leader, an ally to hezbollah n to Syria (i’m sure u have already an opinion about Syria) keeps on supporting n defending them. (in 4 years he became a billionnaire)

Now u have Lebanese Forces, christian party, who is hated by Hezbollah and Syria.

    Now, u can easily conclude.

    Na zdrowie (cheers in Polish)

  • 13. Fuziyad | April 23rd, 2009 at 11:44 am

Wojtek, if someone explains to you lebanon and manages to make it clear to you then it means he explained wrong…

  • 14. Arze | April 23rd, 2009 at 12:05 pm

Wojtek my friend…nobody is like Bachir gemayel and nobody will be like him….

The basic principles of the Lebanese forces was to defend the existence of christians in Lebanon and the middle east !
Samir geagea has changed all the principles of the Lebanese forces &
instead he created his own party that promotes the christians of 2 or 3 villages in the north of lebanon. he has the support of 15 % of the christian community and he is known to be a big supporter of the Druze and The sunna in lebanon who both slaughtered christians in lebanon and the middle east for the past 30 years !

As some may have told you, you have come to the wrong site to check about Aoun and Geggea..

Situation is very complicated and you will never have a proper answer to your question but i can tell you in brief:

Geagea is looking separation of christians areas into mini governments & separate them from muslims . and he is doing this by constantly scaring the christians from the muslims specially the shiites . the only way he can survive is by creating a feeling of fear in the christians (which is not working)

Aoun is looking for opening up to all muslims in the middle east as the only way to protect christian in this area and to promote a culture of peace and open discussion with various muslims in the area instead of war and persecution . This is why you have seen that Aoun has signed a treaty with HEzbollah . and this treaty has protected christians for the past years against any conflict with the muslims

Regarding christian persecutions…you can see that christians are being persecuted in countries backed up by Sunni governments such as Saudi arabia , Soudan , Egypt etc…on the opposit in shiite countries such as Iran , you can find churches in almost every christian community !!!

i think you are the best judge….but keep away from lebanese politics because even us lebanese can not seem to completly understand it :)

  • 15. Tsomet | April 23rd, 2009 at 12:06 pm

    Wojtek,
ja3far and Lebanonhsh are typically Aounist and Hizballah guys…. to recognize them it’s simple : They are not constructive, they defend Hizballah’s weapons and if you multiply their IQs by infinity, take that to the depth of forever, you will have a score of ZERO.

  • 16. Wojtek | April 23rd, 2009 at 12:22 pm

Arze – I don’t live in the Middle East – but what you wrote is wrong i think. In Iran – Shia country there is the law that if you convert to christianity you will die. Amal and Hezbollah slaughtered christians in lebanon thee same as Sunni, Syrians nd Druze.
I think that strategy of Aoun is wrong because Muslims (both shia and sunni) can be your friend today when they need you, but tomorrow they will betray you will be not necessary. I see what happen with Christian community in the countries of the Middle East.

  • 17. ja3far | April 23rd, 2009 at 12:24 pm

bonjour Tsomet :) it seems you like science.. i will tell you a small experience made on monkeys:

There is several monkeys in a cage and there is banana hanging in one section of the cage. If the monkey reaches for the banana, whole cage is sprayed with cold water. They get wet few times and learn not to eat that banana. Now, a new monkey is introduced to the cage and whenever the new monkey even comes close to the banana, others attack the monkey and stop him from touching the banana.

the moral behind the stroy is that monkeys learn from their mistakes, and teach new comers to learn from their mistakes

I have always wondered how come you ” so clever people ” keep doing the same mistakes again and again, and again and again… ma taraktou heet ma fouto fee … you are such a joke

  • 18. Wojtek | April 23rd, 2009 at 12:29 pm

Tsomet – I see what you wrote and I don’t udnertand how they can defend so cruel organiztion like Hezbollh that destroyed Lebanon three years ago in fighting for 22 kilometers square of Sheba farm that even are not Lebanese teritory.

  • 19. ja3far | April 23rd, 2009 at 12:58 pm

it is so impressive how you ” so intelligent people” get manipulated so easily by an intelligence agent using the silliest tricks in the book…
Wojtek …no wonder they are your allies.. and no wonder why the keep loosing ;)

  • 20. Tsomet | April 23rd, 2009 at 2:17 pm

    Ja3far,
I am really sorry to hear that Hizballah treats you like monkey but now I understand how you evolve and how they force you to learn to be a hizballah monkey.

    Wojtek,
As you can see and read from ja3far, Arze and all the hizballah & Aounist guys, it’s very hard to make these people think and work for Lebanon.
Israel transformed a part of lebanon into parking lots with their bombs and Hizballah still think that the only answer is more violence.

To resume, LF and Hizballah/CPL don’t share the same definition of victory :
For Hizballah, Victory is death and destruction

For LF, victory is peace, life and democracy.

  • 21. ja3far | April 23rd, 2009 at 2:48 pm

tsomet .. u have understood the situation very well.. the same way u understood my previous comment ..
    الحمدلله الذي جعل اعدائنا اغبياء

  • 22. Tsomet | April 23rd, 2009 at 3:00 pm

    Ja3far,
hehehehe… your answer is typically a “ghabi” answer… Ooups I meant a Hizballah answer (same) :
“I don’t understand what you understood from what is understandable by an understanding arabic/english mix ”

Ja3far, get a life !!! take your hizballah scooter and go find a job where intellectuals like you are needed : Manar TV, Orange TV, Hizballah cemetery of victory, Bint jbeil Safari,…

  • 23. ja3far | April 23rd, 2009 at 3:15 pm

tsomet …of course it is a typical answer, and u will hear it a lot from HA people …we are honest .. we tell u the truth..
if i ever plan “to get a life “and become an M14 leader ( a3ouz billah) .. i will start lying.. and tell u how smart u are ;)

  • 24. Arze | April 23rd, 2009 at 3:29 pm

    Wojtek

Muslims in Iran are probably killed if they are converted ….but christians in Saudi , Egypt and Sudan are persecuted just for the fact of being one :)

please dont compare 2 millions christians killed by slavery & slaughtering to a guy being taken to tribunal for converting into christianity ! Go listen to the stories of the egyptian christians and what they are enduring in Egypt !

HEzbollah and Amal were supported by the lebanese forces when they were also fighting the palestinians in their areas … there has been some clashes with the christians ….like any other militia …but nothing compared to what the others did to us …

Regarding what u said about Aoun…what you dont understand is that we are not like 100 years ago ….Christians are less then 40 % in lebanon & it is not the same scenario where the West was supporting us …

The West has officially left the christians in the middle east and in lebanon since the 50’s ! We have no option rather then to open a communication with the muslims as Arab Christians and try to come up with solutions…and believe me so far its working incredibly…
And i trully believe as once Sheikh Bachir said : ” we can be a true message of love to the middle east as in the same time we can turn the ground to fire & ashes if we are persecuted …”

  • 25. Tsomet | April 23rd, 2009 at 3:40 pm

    Ja3far,
HA People honest … you are really funny WWhahahahaha.

Honesty definition by HA members :
    —————————————–
    - Kidnapping lebanese people when kidnapping israelis soldiers becomes more tough to achieve.

    - Burning TV stations when they dare criticising your honesty

    - Envading Beirut to prove the honesty of your pacific demonstration against the gov.

    - Killing your own people because you are too honest to spare their lives,

Do you know what’s honest in all this shit ? your blindness to life and your vision of destruction.

Note. Our leaders live in houses and your leader live in sewer with rats…. so why are you hiding your honesty with the ditches, is it of the same quality ?

  • 26. ja3far | April 23rd, 2009 at 4:38 pm

another brainwashed LFer who believe his great leaders because they say so :)
so tsomet they told u it was a TV station and u believed them mich heik
they told u we kill our own people and u believed them mich heik
they told u we drive scooters and u believed them mich heik
they told u that LF is a peaceful organization and u believed them mich heik
they told u that the long list of war crimes that was done by LF was done by hobeika that is why they removed him and u believed them mich heik
they told u we have apologised so we became like mandellah and u beliueved them mich heik
and they told u the other lebanese IQ is 0 and u believed them .. mich heek..
u know the sadest part isnt that they told u they are great leaders and that they will achieve to u what they promissed .. the saddest part is that u believed them and u keep believing in them even though they deceived u and will keep deceiving u again and again and again and again..
here we return to the monkeys story ya zaki.. monkey are clever enough to learn from their mistakes.. u are not …

  • 27. Tsomet | April 23rd, 2009 at 4:49 pm

Ja3far, the most intelligent Hizb3ozrayél and honest cheetah,

No one told me anything , I saw it all… I even lived it.

Your kidnappings, you killings, your demonstrations, your sit-ins, your scooters, your cowardness, your violence and your war against israel which ended up with a historic failure for life and victory for death…

  • 28. Fuziyad | April 23rd, 2009 at 4:53 pm

Arze, do you realise that you are singing the openess to islam song while explaining that the sunnies wherever they are are evil, intolerant and our eternal enemies??

    seriously read your posts again…

  • 29. ja3far | April 23rd, 2009 at 5:00 pm

tsomet .. keep hiding behind your finger … keep your head in the sand…keep following your “great honest” ” leaders..
the next wall is not too far away… 44 days

  • 30. Al (Ex-Anonymous) | April 23rd, 2009 at 5:02 pm

ya jame3a, rou2o shway… this Wojtek is as Polish as I’m Swedish. I can’t believe you entered his game. It’s obvious that this guy is only having fun. I mean come on !!! A Polish dude who’s heard of Shebaa Farms, what’s next is he gonna tell us his great grand daddy invented the Taboule during a trip to Lebanon??
Wojtek (or Fadi / Chafic / Karim or whatever your name is) get a life dude !!!

  • 31. Tsomet | April 23rd, 2009 at 5:08 pm

    Ja3far,

The next wall will not even protect your rat leader, he will stay buried in the sewer with all his Hizb3ozrayél lieutnants…

    Clock is ticking… Tic tac…

  • 32. ja3far | April 23rd, 2009 at 5:18 pm

tsomet .. ouff we are scared :)

  • 33. Wojtek | April 23rd, 2009 at 7:25 pm

Al Jestem Polakiem skoro mi nie wierzysz piszę po Polsku. Nie wiem czemu mam udawć kogoś innego…
Al I wrote that I’m Polish in my language – I have no reason to pretend…
I Polish media Hezbollah is shown as a terrorist organization that make haos in the country… I’m really interested in your history – for me – Bashir Gemayel was great leader and Aoun is careerist. But I say what I see.

  • 34. Wojtek | April 23rd, 2009 at 7:39 pm

Mayby you think that in Poland we live in other part of the world – but we have books, TV and internet – and I exactly know what Sheba Farm is. For example during the war Israel vs. Hezbollah informations about the conflict was the most inportand news in media in those days…

  • 35. Wojtek | April 23rd, 2009 at 7:47 pm

Arze – I have heard about situations in the middle east – in Egipt, Saudi Arabia… But when you write me thaat: “Muslims in Iran are probably killed if they are converted” it is horrible for me…because muslims have the same rights as Chriastins or atheists here in Europe and it is your own problem when you convert to Islam or Christinity…

  • 36. Rima | April 25th, 2009 at 5:16 am

    AL

Why not? Wojtek could be a joke as you said but he could also be an undergraduate or a graduate student, a researcher or journalist trying to collect information via blogs or other means. Similar to when you go on the street and start asking people questions. That simple! Both ways whowever reads this posts will be able to have both versions of the strory and decides for themselves.

However I have a few words to Wojtek: the conflict in Lebanon right now is about the attempt to swallow Lebanon under the banner of HA by bribing other leaders..As Michelle said Aoun and his crew became millionaires!

    Cheers

  • 37. Doc1559 | April 25th, 2009 at 6:33 am

Wojtek CIA or not CIA? what for? and btw ya ja3far it created an interesting..what do the christian lebanese stand for.

I guess you read arze’s view on the situation…creative huh?what will happen if the old man changes his mind once he has 45 MP’S…it may happen(unless he knows and that’s probably the case that it would cost him his life) would the mou3arada watania collapse once they become majority?will jumblatt save yr asses?

  • 39. fouad | April 25th, 2009 at 9:17 pm

    Wojtek,

in 2005 Lebanese Forces were the allies of Hezbollah. Now it is different because their allies (hariri) have problems with Hezbollah. For better history information read wikiedia. here you will find fellows of a castrated leader called Sameer Geagea who pretends to be the christian rotector while in fact he was their worst nightmare. search on the net and you will find the truth.
