  prou2blf #4, HA does have aims that are not compatible with a legitimate political party but I have not heard of HA elements commissioning their people to blow up airplanes like al QA3eeda frequently tries to do. We need to be careful how we approach this subject, because whether we like it or not, HA has a lebanese constituency in the country and their representatives are elected by lebanese like you and me. I do not condone the military wing of HA and I am against weapons held outside the boundaries of the state, but this is a thorny issue that needs resolved within the regional context and not by force like N seems to advocate.

  Nobody should be surprised that HA might be planning an attack on the West. Keep in mind that HA is already active in many arab countries including Egypt, Jordan and Iran, as well as foreign countries such as Brazil and France. Today, Iran and HA are under political and economic pressure and it would not surprise me if they decided to send a message to the US by doing something stupid (like blowing up a plane). The sad part is that as Lebanese-Americans we have to endure criticism and humiliation because of something we do not believe in and because HA imposed their ideology on us! We refuse that and the only way to change the world’s opinion is not by whining to the American but by cleaning our house first.

  Pour toi les americains ont le droit de classer le Liban sur la liste des terroristes a cause de la presence du Hezbollah.
  Mais as-tu entendu parler de Blackwater aux etats unis ? C’est un etat dans l’etat. Blackwater est peut etre mieux arme que l’armee americaines, il dispose des meilleures armes, il dispose d’une flotte d’avions de chasse, d’helicopteres de combat, de pres de 20000 hommes et est present dans pres de 9 pays entre autre l’Iraq. Blackwater est un groupe de mercenaires recrutes un peu partout dans le monde. Blackwater sous le titre de combattre le terrorisme ce groupe commet les pires massacres et personne n’est autorise a les arreter.
  Ce groupe opere en dehors de etats unis, commet des meurtres en dehors des etats unis.
  Blackwater travaille uniquement pour l’argent.
  Des hommes politiques sont recrutes au sein de ce groupe.
  Ce groupe opere en toute liberte.
  Pourquoi Blackwater qui est un groupe de mercenaires est legale, meme ils sont des heros et le Hezbollah qui a libere le sud Liban a partir du Liban est considere comme un groupe terroriste ?
  Si on doit appliquer la logique americaines, il faut donc ajouter le nom des Etats Unis en haut de la liste des terroristes

  - et les elections legislatives en 2009 … n’est-ce pas les libanais qui ont vote et choisi ? est-ce que le Hezbollah a utilise ses armes pour changer les resultats, Non. Le Hezbollah a meme perdu les elections. Donc ton histoire de VOTE pour differencier les terroristes des non terroristes ne tient pas la route, vas chercher quelque chose d’autre.
  - Pour toi si le peuple VOTE pour un gouvernement ce dernier ne peut etre qualifie de terroriste. Excuse moi mais quand on VOTE pour un gouvernement qui enflame le monde entier que ce soit militairement ou economiquement et qui commet les pires massacres eh bien je considere que le peuple lui meme est devenu terroriste. Ceci vaut pour le peuple americain et pour le peuple israelien.
  - Quand a Blackwater je te conseille de faire un petit tour sur internet et tu auras une idee de l’influence politique et militaire de ce groupe sur les etats-unis. Tu auras une idee de l’arsenal militaire que detient ce groupe. Tu auras une idee des crimes que commet ce groupe.
  - Y a aucune preuve de leurs actes ??? mais tu rigoles mon cher ou bien tu refuses de voir la realite en face.
  - Le gouvernement des Etats-Unis a trouve que Blackwater qui est un groupe de mercenaires pouvait les aider a combattre ce qu’ils appelent le terrorisme. Pour proteger leur securite nationale ils ont permis a ce groupe prive d’operer la ou il veut, dans le pays qu’il veut. Ils ont permis a cette organisation encore une fois non gouvernementale de disposer des meilleurs armes. Donc pour la securite nationale des etats-unis le gouvernement a trouve indispensable de faire co-habiter l’armee et Blackwater. Pourquoi cette strategie est toleree pour les Etats Unis mais ne l’est pas pour le Liban. Le Liban a le droit de choisir sa strategie de defense comme il l’entend et il a trouve que la meilleure strategie “APRES EXPERIENCE SUR LE TERRAIN” etait de faire co-habiter l’armee libanaise avec la resistance.

  A terrorist organization by definition is defined as acting outside a recognized state boundary or authority, hence, it does not have any legitimacy to speak of. HA does not fit this category because IT IS part of the national government and because its representatives are elected by the people in legitimate elections. If some lebanese should label HA terrorists then the government of Lebanon and the country itself would be subject to the label of “sponsor of terrorism” and as such any sanctions brought upon the nation as a whole would be justified internationally, something that is not true in Lebanon’s case. The sword cuts both ways in this case lest we be careful.
