I was reading about the sit-in the FPMers organized to condemn the release of Boutros Afram ( who is not an LF), arrested for firing gunshots at FPM activists during the Black Tuesday that occured almost 3 months ago after the Opposition tried to block all roads leading to Beirut.

I want to ask you ya Mark a simple question ..

Was it worth it ?

Was it worth it getting paralyzed for life because of few thugs ?
Did you really serv your cause by the sacrifice you made ? What will you say to your children and grand children ?
“I got paralyzed when i was trying to burn tyres to block roads kirmel el General ?”

I was involved myself in a lot of student demonstrations during the Syrian hegemony, i was willing to risk my life to demonstrate against the invadors, willing to get beaten and arrested just to let them hear my voice.

We were hand in hand with the Aounists, shouting for Syrians to leave. We had a Cause, and we never did it cause our leaders asked us to ..

However, today i am not willing to risk getting bruised for any leader, i am not willing to debate politics to defend any of them, Syrians are out now, Aoun came back, Hakim was freed, they work for us now and they should be the ones paying ..

You could have got killed easily, like many others during those meaningless clashes, however you survived, and i hope you will learn from this very painful experience and most specifically from that event you guys held today that no one is worthy this ..

All those who read the news today forgot about you and George and Siham, they were too busy making jokes on Abbas el Hashem.

I offer you this as a brotherly advice, your priority as a Lebanese and as a young man is to secure your future, to think of urself before anyone else ..

Many died for Michel Aoun, they ended up being buried in a soccer field, others rotting in Syrian jails till now ( while he denies publically their presence), and many many others living poorly and without a job ..

I respect the fact that you like the guy, it is ur opinion and i respect it, but that last sentence u quoted is in my opinion wrong:
” “هيدي الكرسي يللي قعدوني عليها جماعة السلطة اشرف من كل الكراسي يللي قاعدين عليها ومتمسكين فيها”. “

The new generations should be the ones fighting to take over those seats, not to sit their leaders on them ..

I truly hope you will be able to recover from your handicap one day, and i condemn all those thugs who were shooting that day, either LFers, Fpmers or Marada or anyone … i condemn anyone who came out with guns, who thinks we can resolve our problems by killing and beating up each others ..

We are the future ya Mark, you and me and all those young people .. we should show our leaders the way, and not sacrifice ourselves to pave them the way to achieving their goals ..

Regards.

I commend you for this article ya N10452, but unfortunately it will fall on deaf ears. They, the leaders, should be working for Lebanon and the Lebanese. The Lebanese have made too may sacrifices, many of it foolish, and some leaders like Aoun are throwing them all away with their greedy, insane and opportunistic actions, to say the least.

    Well sad N10452.

It is sad that marc got paralyzed for a meaningless reason. He deserves much better, all of us the Lebanese youth deserve better!!!!!!!!

It’s me again. However I wanted to add in a civilized country, Mark and others would be the ones in prison for disturbing the peace, vandalism and damaging public property, as well as harrassing innocent coitizens going on with their everyday lives.
What in Aoun’s past or recent actions that inspire such loyalty. They say he’s clean of corruption, but is he???? lol. He faught the Syrians?lol. Now the Syrian TV calls Aoun “alrajoul alwatani alsharif”, I would say that alone should be enough to make him go down a notch or 100 in people’s eyes. He is not a very sane man to credit him with enough intelligence to say that he’s playing “tactics” as his followers like us to believe. If he is playing HA, then he is in for a very rude surprise sooner or later.
Usually a cult leader is charismatic, articulate as well as intelligent who preys on the people’s weaknesses, but Aoun possesses none of those characteristics. Yet he is preying on some of the Christains fears and Hatred very well in his quest for personal gain.

listen guys to whoever wrote this article i am neutral and i dnt follow any leader i follow gibran khalil gebran and said akl and beit al ra7bani, i have one question wouldnt you ( the writer of this article) paralayse yourself for the ouwet and the hakim which i belive you would; and probably die for their cause , since you think that hakim and the ouwet are right and every1 else is wrong. therefore i suggest you shouldnt blame this poor marc although i agree that he is ignorant and stupid for what he did but i belive we are all the same when it comes to leaders and i truly mean all of us with no exempt…thank you

It’s a typical sunday morning. I turn on the television news to find the bitter usual report . I then ask myself the same questions most lebanese are asking, How did we get into this mess, how blind are we?

God bless you mark , you were doing a great job , you were defending your beleifs , you are the one that israeli-syrian hate to see , and that’s why they sent their hungry thugs to kill you! Mark, FACHARO, fachar akbar siyesse ino ya3lim 3lek , Let them dream like usual because none of their dreams are reality! Presently, I have no comment to make about your heroism but the above la2inon 2LEL LI mitlak ya mark. God bless you and stay strong!

Riad abi khattar was killed because of your bad deeds!! You cant use weapons in order to achieve your goals. Unfortunately MARADA got you this time and always remember that you and your 7OULAFA were the ones who started it , Also the one who opened fire on the oppositions TARI2 JDIDE, SNIPERS ON ROOFS , ECT…

That ’s good that you’re asking for justice but remember that boutros afram was freed few day ago !!!!!!!!!!!! Is this a government or IRAQI REGIME?

    Here enjoy you 7OULAFA ; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZV38813pSII

    Get over it,

The link that you posted is 1000 times smoother than what we have against you and your Allies.
Why did “El Awbash 7olafe2ak” go to tare2 jdide? They went to buy SHAWERMA? Or they went to have a bottle of BEER?
Law Tayyar el mustaqbal went to Da7yeh to do the same thing, can you tell me what will be the results? of course there will be more dead bodies than QANA.
You as FPMer, do you dare to enter to Da7ye?

When somebody comes to your house to attack you, you have the right to PULL his eyes.

i just wanna ask the writer of this article a question:
did mark ever expect this???? to be paralyzed one day for his entire life?
Well , simply, he went there just because he believes in a free country where everyone can express his ideas, he never thought there were going to be some retarded people on the field to shoot him….

Beware when you talk about a martyr, someone killed by Marada thugs …
Again the firs to shoot were the 8th of march ‘peaceful’ protestors ..

Anyway that is not at all the message of my thread .. guess brainwashing has reached a fatal stage ..
