Hezbollahs Filthy Methods
Posted by N10452For the past 11 days, we have seen Israel bomb all sorts of targets and I am sure most of us were wondering why would Israel bomb a certain factory or a construction yard or a truck..
If we can for a moment turn off all the local and international channels who have nothing to do but show little dead children and dismembered bodies that touch the viewer to a certain degree that it would blind them, and think about the reasons behind those hits.
From a military point of view, you have a fully equipped army, ranked in the top 5 armies in the world fighting against a guerrilla militia with absolutely no info on its fighters, weapons and locations.
Even though the Israeli army is way superior in terms of weapons, technology and size than Hezbollah, its war must be a very cautious and tactical one since its fighting a guerilla militia.
We have seen Israel for example hitting a tissue factory in a small village in the south. The reason for that would be Hezbollah move around with a missile in a truck, park near a factory and fire a rocket then flee. The origin of the rocket being the factory, Israelis respond by hitting it.
A witness to a similar action went on TV and urged Hezbollah fighters to stop coming into his village to shoot rockets and then run away since the village is being destroyed.
Same for the truck that was carrying civilians and that became very suspicious when it was not allowed to enter the UN offices.
Fighting a guerrilla is very hard and knowing that they could shoot from anywhere, we should expect attacks on unusual places.
Innocent people are dying this is true, but I believe the way Hezbollah is operating and its filthy methods in infiltrating villages and using them as launch positions is causing all those casualties.
Of course Israelis have hit bridges recklessly during the day killing innocent civilians trying to cross the bridge, but its war and you always have victims.
On the other hand, the party thats hitting civilians randomly and threatening innocent lives is Hezbollah who is launching rockets with no sense of direction whatsoever. I have seen rockets land on balconies, small cafes, walls… anything but military targets.
Finally, I heard that Hezbollah has accepted that the government negotiate on the prisoners fate today, therefore I hope that they realized they haven’t achieved anything except self destruction politically and militarily and most of all the destruction of Lebanon and putting it in economical ruin for the next 5 years.

Try having a little dignity. When the West sees Arab reactionary forces we laugh at you for being so ignorant and foolish.
Do you really think the Bush administration cares about the Lebanese people? Grow up. The Bush administration could stop this; it doesn’t want to. Why? It doesn’t value the lives of its own African American citizens like it does white people of Euro-American background. Why on earth would it care about “democracy” for Arabs? Sorry, you’re out of luck. You belong to the wrong “race,” just like the Palestinians. You’re people of color from a U.S. view, and that means you’re not worth as much as white people. And guess what? No matter how frequently you repeat that you’re really “like us,” that you’re “Phoenicians,” etc. etc., no one in the Bush administration cares. You’re the “other,” so start reading the political landscape for what it is, not what you wish it was.

As President Lincoln was reputed to have said, it is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak and remove all doubt.
Since you make such foolish assertions, can you back them up with documentation? If not try to confine your comments to the Daily Kos and other blogs of the lunitic fringe.

Ahh, such keen erudition and incite. Your exactly right!! Bush bases all of his decision in both domestic and foreign policy based on the race of the individuals involved. That is precisely why he is sending his BLACK Secretary of State to try to negotiate this matter. Further evidence is that he has a LATINO Attorney Genereal defending his disgraceful actions. I agree with you. I mean who can ignore the disgraceful fact that he has hired more individuals of varying ethnicities to work in his government than any other President, EVER, including the ridiculously monikered Bill Clinton – the first “Black President”.
Your ignorance is both stunning and pathetic. To equate this government’s action in any manner to the color of the skin involved shows a very deep lack of understanding of the social complexities of the US. Perhaps, before judging responses based on skin tone, you would be wise to look at the ideologies adhered to by those currently under the aggression of the Israeeli guns. Anyone who supports or sympathizes with Hizbullah clearly desires that there never be peace in that region. Such a destabalizing force, a puppet regieme of two rogue states, bent on the annihilation of a soverign state must be smashed so that the majority of Lebanese can finally have their WHOLE country back for the first time in more than 20 years!

Explain to me how 11 days of bombings with tons of explosives over Hizbullah regions only killed 2 Hizbullah guys.
A Lebanese villager called live on TV and witnessed he saw Hizbullah guys get into his village shoot and runaway and that was the second testimony done on TV.

From hospitals in the north ? from pick up carrying woman and children ! Jesus christ ! plz new LF youth wake up !!! and stop defending israel ! REMEMBER WHO PUT OUR LORD CHRIST ON THE CROSS ! and for ur own infos ! until now 400 lebanese died , like 20 are hezbollah (hasab hezbollah ) and 100 hasab israel , so if we make the median , its less then 50 hezbollah killed which means the israeli rate is almost 10 % of non civilian killed ! while hezbollah has killed 16 israeli idf , and 12 civilian which is a rate more then 60 % of military hit ! JEsus compare IDF ARMY and hezbollah , and hezbollah has a higher rate ! and u post hezbollah filthy way ? at least hezbollah waited 2 days before they started bombing civilians ! they warned israel that they will hit civilians if they still hit ours ! im not defending hezbollah , but plz STOP DEFENDING ISRAEL PLZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!

Great Blog! Fighting guerrilla’s living in civilian areas is extremely difficult. The moral responsibility for civilian deaths rests firmly on the guerrilla’s, that’s how moral responsibility works! Even a pro-Hezballah ethisist would have to admitt this (if by some miricle they were to participate in an ethical discussion).

Hey, Lebanese Forces guys. Nice overview of what is really going on. Good luck in kicking the Hezbollah bastards out of your country. Can’t wait to visit a Lebanon that is run by Lebanese, for Lebanese. You guys have been suffering long enough. Hopefully, Bush and the rest of the world will set the table properly this time, and make sure the Syrians and Iranians can’t come back. I prey for the day when we can look north from the Israeli border and see you guys standing tall on the other side. Our thoughts and prayers are with you here in the States.

“Not a Yank”: Don’t mean to be rude, but I think it was Mark Twain who said that.
To the ironically named “Arze” – didn’t Jesus pray that those who crucified him should be forgiven? Something about “they know not what they do?” And besides- it’s been 2000 years. Do westerners still look down upon the descendants of the Phoenicians because their ancestors sacrificed children to “Baal”?
And to the the keepers of the blog: Here’s one American Jew who will gladly contribute to the rebuilding of your country when this is over. G-d be with you as you free yourselves of hezbollah *and* the syrians.
22. Cedar1 | July 24th, 2006 at 7:07 am
I want to reply to Arze’s comment because freespeechlover’s are too stupid to do so.
Arze, my friend, let me tell you something. Your analigy of the current situation in Lebanon is extremely retarded. I don’t know where you get your numbers from but even if they were true, you are still very wrong. What you are suggesting is that Hizballah is more successful than the IDF and that couldn’t be further from the truth. Hizballah at best might win some battles but I garantee you that they will very soon lose the war they started.
Israel has something like 160,000 active soldiers and does not include their reserves. 16 of 160,000+ soldiers that have been killed is less than 1/100th of a percent. I can assure 20 guerrillas dead greatly affects Hizballah.
Hizballah guerillas are indeed some of the dirtiest fighters in the world. Your comments show that you’ve completely ignored the content of this article. Hizballah’s “rate” that you speak of higher because they are cowards. They park their rocket-bed trucks in front of civilian houses, shoot random (usually civilian)targets in Israel and drive away.
Also, I see you calling out the young LF community for their support of Israel’s offense. Let me tell you, I spoke to REAL LF fighters the other day while watching the news. They all said the same thing: nshallah Israel bi niko ekhton. Every LFer supports what Israel is doing because they are helping us get back control of OUR land.
Also, you are lying about the part about Israel making it illegal to Christian. That part made me laugh. You clearly have no idea what you are talking about. I suggest you do your research before you post anything here.
23. David | July 24th, 2006 at 8:37 am
The modern day Israel keeps showing the world they learnt nothing from the Holocaust, but in every opportunity, it will be shoved down our throats. Is this conflict really over two soldiers? I doubt it. I’ll remember where the borders currently are, and the make up of the area, check back in 6 months……….if it;s still there
24. Christians are cute | July 24th, 2006 at 12:47 pm
@Arze, its time for your medicines.
25. ilana | July 24th, 2006 at 2:17 pm
David #23: Israel learnt a very important lesson from the Holocaust – if the Jews don’t defend themselves, nobody else will.
But you are right about one thing – this conflict is not (just) about 2 captured soldiers. It is about an armed militia sitting on Israel’s borders, firing rockets into its territory and issuing belligerent statements. Israel would like nothing better than for the Lebanese army to take control of its own southern territory.
26. Realist | July 24th, 2006 at 4:49 pm
And so the Islamic neighbors of Israel once again prove their ignorance. Since 1967, the lesson to be learned is this: If you leave Israel alone, you will be left alone. If you attack Israel (or host surrogates who do the same from your soil, such as the PLO or Hezzbollah) Israel will kill you (or the surrogates, etc. etc.)
Bottom line: If you pick a fight with Israel, don’t cry when they kick your tail.
27. PDMonk | July 24th, 2006 at 10:26 pm
To freespeechlover
Race has nothing to do with it.
There are only three races of people on the planet.
Negroid, Caucasoid and Mongoloid.
Most people of Arabic ethnicity are Caucasoid as are a large number of the people who make up the nation of India.
So were the Muslims we protected from white Christians in the former Yugoslavia.
If I remember my history correctly the Germans who we defeated twice in the last century and their European allies were Caucasoid.
We don’t discriminate by race when it comes to protecting ourselves.
28. M. Simon | July 25th, 2006 at 2:37 am
I can tell you what Hizbollah has in store for Israel (and as a side effect Lebanon):
The Doves of Hizbollah.
Hossein Safiadeen also reinforced earlier threats by Hizbullah leader Sheik Hassan Nasrallah to widen the scope of attacks, which have included unprecedented missile strikes deep into northern Israel.
“We are going to make Israel not safe for Israelis. There will be no place they are safe,” Safiadeen told a conference that included the Tehran-based representative of the Palestinian group Hamas and the ambassadors from Lebanon, Syria and the Palestinian Authority.
“You will see a new Middle East in the way of Hizbullah and Islam, not in the way of Rice and Israel.”
29. M. Simon | July 25th, 2006 at 3:10 am
Arze,
The Israelis claim that 1/2 the dead are Hizzies.
Now the question is who is making up stories?
In Israel every death is announced. Are the Hizzies announcing all their deaths? Or are they covering up?
What would be to their advantage?
Depends on which side of the equation propaganda points lie.
30. M. Simon | July 25th, 2006 at 6:09 am
I just saw a TV report that said that Israel attacked a Red Cross ambulance in Beirut. Any confirmation?
The damage looked alot like the results of a katyusha rocket – i.e. lots of damage that looked like the result of ball bearing shrapnel. Typical of Hizbollah weapons.

33. Henke | July 31st, 2006 at 4:55 am
To be shure that there will be no war anymore and islam terrorists wil be wiped out I suggest to
trow one Nutron bomb on Theran (the biggest we
can find), and a smaller one on damascus.
After that “carpet bomb” everything from the south of Beirut to the Israeli border.
That will do the trick….
The arabic fanatic muslims only understand a
very hard “solution”
34. Shamsher | August 1st, 2006 at 3:50 am
Just one question
Where is the Lebanese national army? Are they not in the battle to defend Lebanon? Who are they fighting for. How can a fight go on in a country with its army not involved.
35. dude | August 1st, 2006 at 6:43 am
Seems to me that Lebanon has lost control of it’s own country. Instead of ALLOWING the hezbollah “guerillas” to pull up to a civilian area and launch their missiles, how about KICKING THEIR ASSES!!! Have ALL the Lebonese military left their own country or what?? It’s YOUR country, Arab or not, TAKE IT BACK!!!
36. Joe | August 3rd, 2006 at 5:32 am
YOUR TV IS THE BATTLEFIELD
The effect of the media in the current world war against terrorism and Islamic fundamentalism is HUGE.
TV sets act as “force multipliers” sending terrorizing images into every living room across the world – serving the terrorist’s objectives of ‘breaking the people’s morale’ and creating political pressure on governments. Without these TVs and satellite real-time coverage, suicide attacks and the beheading of ‘infidel’ journalists would not be such a useful tool for their perpetrators. They would not create nearly as much impact.
Additionally, the media has a crucial role in shaping the national and international public opinion which, ultimately, translates into votes and support for specific courses of action.
The bad news is that in today’s war ‘the enemy’ is allowed to use DECEPTION in feeding the cameras with fake and previously scripted scenes that influence public opinion to their advantage.
The good news is that sooner or later ‘the good guys’ (including the French) will understand this dirty tactic and demand from the major cable networks responsibility in the content they provide us with.
So, where do we start?
Now that we are AWARE of this problem we can put our helmets on while watching TV and arm ourselves with a large amount of skepticism and caution when watching the ‘live’ reports from the field. …And, of course, publicly reporting the ‘accomplice’ reporters would motivate others to double check their stories and sources before they go ‘live’.
Good luck in one of our most important missions. The whole world depends on YOU!
