Review on Special Force 2 : Training

I just finished the training part of the game, the graphics are not that good, but the game overall is done in a respectable way. You must go through this training part to start the missions. There are 4 trainings, driving a tank, using the sniper, protecting hostages and driving a helicopter.

What surprised me though is how you are taught to drive tanks that look like Merkavas and helicopters .. This is not guerilla tactics for all i know !

I FOUND A CHEAT ALREADY !

Ironically i found by mistake a bug ( or a cheat) in the game ..

During the training on driving tanks, the tank runs out of fuel after a while, you can do the following and regenerate as many tanks as you want !

Click Ctrl Z X to get off the tank.
Aim ur weapon on an empty spot and click Ctrl Z C , you will get another tank !!

Here is an illustration of my tank division:

I will start the missions maybe tomorrow, i must say it is an average game graphics wise, very similar to the Delta Force years ago, the menu is a bit ugly with all the arabic and dark colours, one might tell me it all depends on the budget, well with the 1.5 billion dollars received from Iran ( as confessed by Hassan Nasrallah), i suppose they can come out with something better.

I’d rate it 2/10.

    FAD14. I understand what you are saying,but there could and should be incentives for expatriate
    Lebanese to return to their homeland,their country.Since most of those who left in recent years are Christians and forward looking,their return would redress the present imbalance.There must be many Lebanese who have amassed wealth abroad and perhaps you are the right person to sell them the idea,or ideas. After all the blueprint exists and taking back Lebanon is quite an ideal worth working towards,if it can be done by peaceful means.If you will it,it is no dream!!!it intrigues me to know how you are helping Lebanon from outside. Politics? It is your secret I suppose.

    Training kids to drive tanks and fly helicopters? Guerilla tactics are fine and dandy for now but the time will come when Hezbollah will need something like the kids used by Iran in the 1980s against Iraq.

    Thanks for the review. Can anyone confirm the rumor that this game is based on a game engine developed by Israeli programmers???

    If true, that would be something indeed.

    Is the game only in Arabic or can you also opt for English menus?

    And where can you buy it, at the Hezbollah museum?

    A few weeks ago I was at a dance festival in a northern town. A large and impressive dance troupe from Poland entertained the crowd with their dancing and singing. I admit that this is hardly likely to happen anytime soon.     Hello Sonia,
    I wish you could stay around, i have always tackled the Israel-Lebanon continuous state of war in my posts.

    There seems to be a cliche that we cannot but fight Israel .. while we are ok with letting Syrians destroy our country since they are Arabs.

    The ironic part is that ALL arab countries have secret or public peace agreements with Israel except Lebanon that has to defend the Palestinian Cause and fight ISrael all the time.

    I do not wish to fight Israel, and from what i read on many Israeli blogs, Israel’s main problem is Hezbollah and Palestinian terrorists and NOT Lebanese.

    I do not believe Israel wants to invade us, anyone who reads politics would realize that.

    Israel is an ennemy for the moment since it violated a lot of UN resolution and still is, however i am 100% with Lebanese-Israeli talks, too bad it takes some guts to start such a process and very few if not none of our current politicians have it.

    One man achieved this peace treaty before, Sheikh Bashir Gemayel and that was it.

    Thank you for ur feedback and ur constructive posts.

    The Lebanese muslims are very sympathetic with the palestinians. I think that needs to be over with.
    They have done nothing but destroy and occupy our country.

    Lebanon is weakest arab country, yet it’s always the head of the speer.
    Why do we have to liberate palestine?

    Hello everyone….
    I found this blog while searching “special force 2″ and read all the contributions.
    It amazes me how much some poeple suck up to westerners, or in this case jewish contributor (Sonia) just to satisfy their complexes.
    The New York times recently posted an article in which the writer ridiculed the lebanese complex, saying the poeple of Lebanon actually think of them selves as “Lost Westerners” who happened to be traped amidst this “backward” arab world…
    Anyway, guys dissing HA and shi’a, i recomend u to do some reading about the subject rather than repeat the same clichés….
