Aoun: Lebanon should apologize to Syria first ..

No limits to his arrogance and disrespect to our martyrs and prisoners in Syria, yet again i am not surprised at all, but would like to post this and keep it as a reminder to every Aounist who believed in this general and sadly still does ..

Iza ba3edkoun wara la hal ahbal, into sha3eb bala charaf wou bala mabedi2 .. as simple as that.

I wonder what Fouad el Ashkar, who spent more than 150 days in Mazzeh prison and who was forced to resign from the army during his jailing in Syria, felt when he heard Aoun speak those words.

PS: Fouad El Ashkar, as well as many other army officers who were jailed in Syria went up with Aoun to meet Assad.

Before Lebanon could demand that Syria apologize for atrocities committed during its 15-year military occupation of its smaller neighbor, [Apologies] start in Beirut.

    I always believe that we must reach to a point that we should be fine with Syria.
    GMA visit timing was very wrong especially that Syria didn’t release our prisoners, draw borders with lebanon, stop sending weapons and militias to lebanon and for sure believe that Lebanon is a freedom country…..

    When those points can be achieved, then all Lebanese people will visit syria and not only GMA. If Sheikh Bachir is looking for this visit from him place, what do you think he would comment?

    I am not defending 3aoun and i will never do, but today he said something logic when he said, that only the results will show if my visit to Syria is prosperous or no.
    We are cursing him and his visit, tayyeb ya 3ammi iza min wara haydi el ziara, let’s suppose the syrians wanted to do an election favor for 3aoun and release some prisoners,will the mothers and sisters of those prisoners curse 3aoun ? what will we say next, that those released prisoners are ex aounist and the ones who stayed are not? there are families brothers who want to see their beloved ones back between them again, so let’s pray for them.

    When someone asked if he think Syria should apologize from the Lebanese and he answered by those in Lebanon should apologize first….

    This answer, whether it was followed by “to me” or by “to Syria” explains well what’s in the mind of the person answering.

    He could have answered to the question as simple as that.

    Each time the Christians have the possibility to recover, Aoun apear to divert them towards disaster:
    - In the late 1980’s, we had a secure and prosperous free zone, he came to destroy it with wars and demoralization, we succeed in stopping wars with the Taef agreement, he took us to “suicide” and never give up before delivering our free ozne to the syrians;
    - we recover after 2005 by uniting with the muslims, but he came back again to divert us, destroying christian unity, insulting our symbols and creating civil war climate, and now he want to “change the western affiliate culture of the Maronites in place since 900 years” (dixit interview in syrian Al-Watan).

    I realy don’t understand Aounies.
    Ya Khayeh ok the guys in Future TV were manipulating and twisting the truth, and they used the statement wrongly ok, this is for political reasons and everybody do this, we already acknowledge that.

    But move on to the other issue and the most important, tell us what were his interntions when he answered the question in this way, why he twisted the answer so it would look like he’s asking Lebanese to apologize for Syria through him.

    Why not answering the question as it is???

    Quand le général Aoun rencontrait le Mossad à Paris

    C’est le genre d’information que ses nouveaux amis syriens vont peu apprécier : le général libanais Michel Aoun, actuellement en visite à Damas, a rencontré à plusieurs reprises les représentants du Mossad israélien à Paris, pendant son exil en France, entre 1991 et 2005. Les services de renseignements français, qui surveillaient ses allées et venues, lui avaient déconseillé ce genre de rencontres avec les agents d’un pays, toujours en guerre avec le Liban. Mais le général chrétien refusa de se ranger à ces consignes de prudence. À cette époque, Michel Aoun était l’un des principaux opposants à la présence militaire syrienne au Liban. Depuis son retour à Beyrouth en 2005, il a changé d’avis pour se placer désormais dans le camp de ceux qui estiment – avec le Hezbollah – qu’il convient d’entretenir de bonnes relations avec Damas.

    Guys I agree with Aounis we know Aoun is just a mani***ac , opportunistic, traitor, and paranoid…so for sure evrything he will do would be bad news for lebanon……..let’s cool it down on that and focus on what 14th March are doing or not doing…their future..etc……
