  Any fool can criticize, condemn, and complain and most fools do!

  Johnny abdo is a fool.

  Anyway,until the lebanese people take responsibility, we have no hope of a true UN investigation. Like many others, I have little pitty for the ones who beleive that this tribunal is going to see the light. I just find it hard to beleive that they are going to capture all the criminals.

  The west can offer deals, promote a non-violent solution and aid in the development of peoples. It can promote dialoge at every turn blablabla , but can never solve our prbs (i.e Iraq) …

  In my opinion,Words are powerless against those who do not want to engage us in meaningfull discussion about our country and tend to call us terrorists at all the time. We’ll do whatever it takes when it comes to defend ourseleves.

  Lets say Syria is the one behind hariri’s death, and all 4 generals are involved!! What would they do then?? Are they going to invade syria to capture the real criminals ?, are they going to press charges agaisnt all 4 generals while the rest of the crimes for the past 3 yrs are still on the GOING (i.e Tripoli bombing)???

  Our task for now is to make sure we don’t make the same mistake the Iraqis did (shady saddam trial). Standing up to our rights and asking for a clear trial will be our call….WE KNOW NOT TO TRUST THE WESTERN STANDARDS OF JUDGEMENT.

  I rather deal with the lebanese corrupted system than the western’s Israeli one.

  No need to remind you ya rima of hobeika’s assassination and the clear msg of killing anyone who allows him/her self to challenge the Isreali gangertism in the region.

  Elie had the courage to go to belgium and testify in the TRIAL!! Less then 24 hours later, he was dead. I was a hazmiyeh resident at that time and I witnessed the whole thing.

  I really can’t understand, if u people r innocent from that assasination (by u i mean, Syria, Hezbollah n z gang), why r u so scared from that trial?

  Wouldn’t u be happy to clear up ur name?

  I’m confident that once the truth will be revealed we would know abt all the rest; the bombing n z assasination.

  I strongly beleive in the involvement of HA in Hariri’s assassination…maybe that is what Joni Abdo meant by “local turmoil” once the tribunal is set up…I am afraid someone might try to kill these officers a la syrienne mode!!!!! what do u think?

  Sadly i do believe that Hezb is somehow involved but mostly in z part of execution.

  It’s not that I care abt Harriri but I care n i need to know z truth; we all do!

  If Syria n z rest r really innocent they have to collaborate better n soon b4 all their men get killed “in a mysterious way”!

  Yeah I know what you mean…
  It is not about Hariri but about all those who have been assassinated before and after him: Moawad, bachir, kassir, tueini and the list goes on…the killer is the same one: the syrian regime and their dogs in lebanon.
  Even babies will tell yu that.

  The Tribunal might put an end to the regime or at least push Syria off our back for good.

  All we want is for those generals to get what they deserve ….

  Let them be sentenced along with all the others involved in that assassination …

  I dont want to invade Syria, nor sentence anyone … It doesnt take a genius to figure out no one is gonna point to Bashar as a criminal … i am sure Bashar made few deals with the Western to “eliminate” those involved .. ( Sleiman killing for ex)

  Indeed, Christians in general have been the victims of all westerns war throughout history. We can never rely on any good coming out of them. They are so good at bringing misery and destrcution to us and the picture of Iraqi christians leaving their homes is the perfect proof.

  As you said : we know not to trust the western standards of judgement.

  Ya rima, elie was a criminal and he was killed 2o yrs after the massacre. His killing took place after he gave an interview threatening to turn evidence against sharon in the belgium court. Also, two of elie’s lieutenants were killed in separete incidents !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 2ino kiff?
