  Where is Hussein Jaafar? Was he handed to the Lebanese authorities or they Syrians are still interrogating him?

  RIP Odette Salem. May your children return home. A special tribute to Violette Nassif, activist and mother of Johnny Nassif, the then 16-year old volunteer taken as a prisioner by the Syrian army while fighting for Aoun on Dahr al Wahsh on Oct 13,1990.
  We don’t say shame on Aoun anymore. We say shame on Aounists.

  No offense, but why are 99% of them muslim? No christians in Syrian prisons?!!

  My guess is that most of them were rounded up when the Syrians clamped down 3ala 7araket el tawheed el islemiyyeh in Tripoli. If you guys remember el taw7eed took over trablous and declared it imara and ruled it for a bit untill the syrians came down on them and cleaned them up. They have been releasing a few every now and then, but if that is who they are I am not sure we want them back.

  I heard most of these guys were charged for smuggling narcotics and none of them are actually political detainees….
  If it’s true, then they released the wrong people

  its official based on LBC non of the prisons are “MAFKOUDIN” all of them were convicted and they were in prison based on illegal acts… this was a propaganda parade that we are used 2 from the syrian regime 2 show that they have good will!

  Well it doesn’t surprise me! It was too good to be true! Wish they kept them for themselves if they are truly what the guys said above; pure criminals…
