I am not quite sure if you are following the news, but there is a major event going on in Burma ( or Mnaymar ) where hundreds of thousands of monks are protesting against Myanmar’s generals and the 1988 crackdown by General Saw Maung that caused the death of thousands of pro-democracy demonstrators.

I honestly admire their courage and their commitment, and i hope the UN & US and the whole world will be put enough pressure against those criminal general to depose them once and for all.

It seems Generals are causing damage to their people everywhere, not only here in Lebanon.
Also those Generals are used to attack religious leaders, Aoun did it back in 1990 when his thugs attacked Cardinal Sfeir, and now they are doing it in Myanmar.
We’re saying Generals amd Military commanders causing troubles everywhere, and their countries witnessed bad periods after they took control, and the Arab world id full of examples, from Lybia, to Iraq, to Iran, to Syria, many countries in South America and the Carrabean, etc… their leaders were Military at first.
Despite that, some of our politicians are working on bringing another General to power.
God hepl us, and bless those Ghandi’s way Monks.

Do not hold your breath. The UN under Dark side of Moon and the other countries will do nothing but give moral support and a few condemnations. Burma is too far away for anyone to really care…and in any event there is no real chance of anyone in that coutnry strapping a bomb onto their chest a blowing up something in the West.

To bad these guys are buddhist monks…NOW! if they were SHAOLIN MONKS…that is another story, this thing will be over in a few minutes—-HI YAH! CHOP CHOP!!
