Solange to Aoun : Leave Bashir alone !

I think Sheikha Solange was addressing everyone and not just one, leave Bashir out of this mess, out of this shameful situation we are in.

That was quoted from Aoun’s press release on the 24th of January 2007.

نريد أن نطرح الأسئلة على الجميع من مؤسسات أمنية الى المؤسسات السياسية، هل البندقية هي الأساس في التعاطي؟

هنا أنا مجبر على العودة إلى أحداث 1982، كنت عائدًا من دورة دراسية تغيبت فيها مدة سنتين في فرنسا، تركت لبنان وكنت صديقًا للشيخ بشير الجميّل رحمه الله وللأستاذ داني شمعون رحمه الله، عند عودتي واجهت 7 تموز 1980. بعد يومين أرسل إلي خبرًا الشيخ بشير بأنه يريد رؤيتي، التقيته وقال لي “سيدي القائد وحدنا البندقية المسيحية”، فأجبته عندذاك “بأي ثمن”؟ فقلت له: عام 1978 انقسم المسيحيون بين شمال المدفون وجنوب المدفون، والآن دخلت البندقية الى جنوب المدفون بمعادلة الفصل، بينما كان يجب أن يكون الفصل والتوحيد بالكلمة. ولكن هل يمكن أن تقول لي كيف يمكن إزالتها من المعادلة الداخلية بيننا؟

والبرهان على ذلك أنها حتى اليوم لم تزل.
حاولنا إزالتها عام 1990 بعدما ذهبنا، فزالت “وقتيًا” واليوم عادت.
هل من استعمل البندقية بالأمس يعلم كيف سيعيد إزالتها؟
بالأمس نحن تحملنا بأجسادنا وبأكتافنا كل الوجع، وحافظنا على مواقعنا على الأرض، وهذا الشعب العظيم.

Just a clarification, that Sheikh Bashir asked Aoun back then to take care of a region in Mount Lebanon with his troops, and the first army-LF clash happened back then when Aoun went to complete his mission and got into a fight with the LF units up there. صولانج الجميل لعون: اترك بشير يرقد بسلام — 2007-01-26دعت النائب صولانج المجميل رئيس تكتل “التغيير والإصلاح” النائب ميشال عون الى “الكف عن الطعن بالمسيحيين وشهدائهم من أجل الإستقواء والإستجداء”، مؤكدة أن “المسيحيين يكفيهم تشرذما وحروبا عبثية”. وقالت في بيان أمس: “من المؤسف والمستغرب ان يقحم العماد ميشال عون بالرئيس الشهيد بشير الجميل في زواريبه السياسية ويزج اسمه في مؤتمره الصحافي امس (الأول)، بعد فشل الاضراب الذي دعا اليه “حزب الله” وشركائه”. واشارت الى أن “بشير عمل وناضل واستشهد واصبح رمزا للشهداء الذين ماتوا من اجل لبنان السيد الحر المستقل”. أضافت: “كفى اقتحام شهداء الوطن ورموزه، وكفى طعنا بالمسيحيين وشهدائهم من اجل الاستجداء والاستقواء، لقد شبع المسيحيون تشرذما وحروبا عبثية. فالوطن بحاجة الى من ينقذه، واللبنانيون الشرفاء بحاجة الى من يفتش معهم على مستقبل افضل بهدوء ومسؤولية، فاترك بشير يرقد بسلام
