Profile : Imad Mugniyah
Posted by N10452
Imad Mugniyah was killed in a car bombing (al-Jazeera) in Damascus on February 13, 2008. Hezbollah officials accused Israel of launching the attacks that killed Mugniyah, though the Israeli government denied involvement (Haaretz). This profile of Mugniyah was written in August 2006.
Introduction
Relatively little is known about Imad Fayez Mugniyah, considered one of the most influential members of Hezbollah’s inner circle. He is thought to be the organization’s chief international operator, a shadowy figure behind its leader Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah, and he has been linked to nearly every major terrorist operation executed by Hezbollah over the last twenty-five years. Mugniyah was the most wanted terrorist in the world before Osama bin Laden came onto intelligence radar screens, and he remains a prime target of U.S. counterterrorism forces.

Man although you seem glad about his death, I am really somehow concerned. His assassination was probably done by the syrian, anything the syrians do there should be something bad for us about it …

besides Israel
other possibilities include Syria itself (perhaps hez was growing too independent); the Anti-Syria block in lebanon (in revenge for Hariri’s death?) or Hezbullah itself (power struggles between underground Nasrallah whose been losing control and his #2)
What’s obvious is that the above know they can easily escape responsibility by blaming it on Israel. Two birds at once.

I hope he burns in hell very slow and may his spirit call on all HA leaders, members and their supporters to join him close to the camp fire.

the thing is…we dont know he is dead for sure
Maybe he just faked his own death so that he wont be on any wanted lists nomore.
Maybe its his way of retiring quietly.

Paul,
There’s an article in a Kuwaiti newspaper called “Awan” which support your idea.
Here it is:
Everything can be true about those murderers.
He can even be the person who planned for Hariri murder, and i can’t understand why Saad Hariri and March 14 are mourning him. Maybe it’s just a statement to satisfy HA.

Rodge: Its a statement to let this day pass by peacefully.
Each time scum like this one die, its a celebration.
