“Mich bass bi Israel bi Souriyya kamen” ( Not only in Israel but in Syrian prisons too)
“Chou lezim yisseer ta yirja3o” ( What should happen for them to return ?)
“La 3ale2at 2abel ma yirja3o” ( No ties before they come back !!)

There is no cause more righteous than this one ! Those parents have been demonstrating for years now and no one is listening .. Walid Mouallem the criminal is allowed to visit Lebanon while they are silenced ..

A criminal like Quntar is celebrated as a national hero while the true hero Boutros Khawand is unheard of.

Let us hope for the best and hope Ghazi Aad’s endless efforts will pay off.

This is our national scandal…right there! Why should we hail the return of some prisoners with a criminal record while we are not allowed to recover those innocent that were taken away long ago? Shame on the authorities for ignoring the plight of these people…Mouallem can say what he wants, but until these people are returned to their loved ones we must stand by them an dnot forget them!

U C? now the army has a new patriotic mission, which is to beat the mothers of our prisoners in Syria. But i am thinking,in the time were the syrians were here they used to give the orders to our officers to beat up protestors ,but now since syria is out,who is giving such orders? ALRA2EES AL TAWEFOKI,or the minister of defence who we trusted or Ziad Baroud?

Walla , walla, manak heyen sayer!!! chu ri7et 3la Amerca batal yi3jback al gesh al lebneneh ? Yalla ba3tinla al marines balke bi7ilulna yeha mitel ma 3malo bil 80’s? Ma hek ?

Hayda al gesh tej rassak ya mickel .

Personally, I have more respect for someone who sticks to their principles, even if those are principles I disagree with. And that’s the case here. I have more respect for all the ppl in the above pic but I have no confidence in anything our Gov can do to solve this prb. The UN has to press charges against syria so we can get our ppl back (including my gr8 uncle).

shame on any army that beats her own people instead of protecting it…
this is not the first time this happens with our army…

  • 9. Fuziyad | July 22nd, 2008 at 10:47 am

Shame shame shame on this army…not only they don’t do their job when they have to but they now also execute the instructions they receive by their new bosses…3ayb

    Doc 1559,

I waited from you to comment on what the Army soldiers did to our prisoners’ parents, but instead you criticized Mickel and as usual you took the opportunity to attack the Government.

We all supported our Army in the past as every patriot should do, but when they do something wrong (what they did is shameful and filthy) we should be able to offend their act and defend the people who were gathering there, they are our parents and brothers and sisters.
Didn’t you see anything wrong in what the soldiers did???

I tought you are much fair, so don’t disappoint me again like you used to do in the past.

  • 11. kezballah | July 22nd, 2008 at 1:07 pm

If you investigate this soldier you will find he is from M8. In the civilized world if you touch a handicaped person they throw you in jail.

  • 12. Michele | July 22nd, 2008 at 1:41 pm

Seriously ya Ali1559, u really respect people who stick to their principles no matter what?

So how come u r supporting Aoun???
    Aren’t u full of contradiction?

And it’s ok for you to attack a handicaped as long as it’s the army??!!

    R u that brainwashed? Where’s ur humanity?

How could u call urself a doctor when u don’t feel with the people’s pain?

    Arze,

I will not negociate the LF under Geagea, since I don’t think I will convince you, U’re already closed on the subject, but what I want to tell is that conflicts have made a lot of damages in our christian society, and all the parties have suffered from these conflictsm, even the tayyar. Look at the officials and personnalities who left Aoun, in addition to some internal conflicts going on now.

I’m not denying that Geagea made mistakes, and I don’t want to defend him, I said it clear in my previous post that I’m not originally Geagea’s supporter, and it took me time to accept him in leadership, but for me the LF principles are still the same and that’s what I’m interesteed of, takingh in consideration that there are some changes in Politics under the new post war circumstances.
On other hand, Aoun betrayed his own beliefs. We were all with him when he took power in 1988, and even when he launched the liberation war, but personally, it didn’t take me much time to realize that he’s wrong, and what folloed later proved my idea, at least I’m convinced of my situation and my beliefs, and believe I’m a man who takes so much time in analyzing and seeking logic in everything I do or I think, maybe because i’m a journalist, and I earned what I have from a mixture of personal thoughts and a big knowledge of what I read and receive on a daily basis (most of them are confidential reports and articles) and maybe that’s why I don’t believe in any Lebanese politician, I may support the ones who I see they are straight or have a right thinking, but i’m not a follower to anyone and I follow my principles only.
I wish we all do, and that’s what I like in N10452, eventhough I disagree with many of jis ideas.

N10452: If you shouted also as much for the Lebanese detainees in Israel, this Post would have made sense; since you didn’t… this post is BIAS!

Are you a National? Or you choose “Specified” Lebanese?

    Fool

The prisonners in Israel deserve to be there, they all committed crimes and killed people.
Botrous 5awand didn’t kill a 4-year-old girl. He was kidnapped from his house.

Plus Hezballah were always talking about prisonners in Israel but no one mentions the hundreds ofvinnocent prisonners in Syria who are being treated like animals.
