Phoenicia & Traffic ..
Posted by N10452I wonder sometimes if our politicians do things on purpose to be more hated. We all understand they are threatened and need extreme security measures, but that doesnt give them any right to screw up our lives and make us stand for hours in traffic …
There are thousands of students going down to universities in Beirut ( AUB, LAU etc ..) in the morning, isnt it smart to do your meetings around noon and let those students get on time to their classes ???
There are thousands of Lebanese going to their work early in the morning, isnt it smart to keep all roads open until everyone is at work ??
Bikafeena those tents in DT blocking lots of roads and causing huge traffic on a daily basis !
I cannot but wonder sometimes, isnt there anyone among those MPs who thought about all those people going down to their jobs ?? who thought of delaying the meetings set ?? and by the way the USELESS meetings that occured yesterday ..
We keep attacking M8 leaders for their actions, yet M14 Mps are doing the same mistakes and worse, instead of exploiting such mistakes by their opponents to gain more ground.

its a disaster the mps protect themselves by putting others in danger
i go every day to L.A.U and every day i stay more than an our in trafic its not right.
we wnt our mps to be safe we dont want to lose any of them any more cause we will not allow 8m to take over lebanonon and make it an Iranian Serian capital here.
AND ALSO WE CANT ONLY CRITISIZE OUR MPS FOR THE TRAFIC IF THERE WERNT ANY KILING THER WOULDNT BE ANY EXTRA SEC.
And also if the tents werent there then the mps would have many roads top go on better than only one.
its all turns bak that every thing is caused by 8m because they want us to live like the serians live in seria…
about the jobs ofcorse ther isnt any jobs left wy 8m and their wonderful advanced life structure the tnts they just need she 50 camels and a cow…

Stop Bitching…Get those homeless “tent people” to move. I have not heard you whine so much about ‘god’s followers’ or hassaon’s lackies…Thousands of students eh??

when did the police get APCs?
9. paul | October 18th, 2007 at 7:23 pm
The question is whether the economic damage of the excessive protection of politicians is truly large,In comparison with the tents.
10. Danny | October 18th, 2007 at 7:59 pm
Paul stop drinking or puffing on your Nergileh…If it were not for the tent ghetto and your Syrian benefectors no one would need “excessive” protection…I guess they should line up so that they get picked off one by one. Do not simplify what is happening! The fate of the nation is at stake. Wake up you self obsessed fanatics.

Bashir 7ay fina,
Even if Our mps lives are in danger, even if they require the highest security measures possible, You cannot mess up people’s lives that way …
It is very easy to just schedule those meetings at noon and close roads once everyone is @ his work or uni .. and yes mikel there are tons of companies still open and the employees were walking from Biel to their work cause of the traffic. .. i wish i could pics only ..
It took my friend 4 hours from Phoenicia till Hamra .. unacceptable ..
