Man we have this problems in Lebanon, unsupervised personal weapons! We should supervise them just like in the united state, but before that you can not ask someone to deliver a machine gun or an R.P.G. when have HZ super armed. There should be disarming and it should start with HZ. Though I cannot see that coming any soon.

Either the pics are true or fake done by 14 or by 8, the result is the same… talking more and more about an armed culture…

SoE I believe you are right and I think the problem is also bigger than North and South…The Christians have a good thing that we are plural and we like competition…never we had a Hassan Nasrallah that all of us love even Bashir many Christians did not support him…so it is good that we are democratic but we have very bad things like we don’t know solidarity with each other and we are only open for what we like but we are closed minded for everything different than us.

Unfortunately in Lebanon we are not team players every person is a leader (kelna zou3ama)…or my leader is the best and everything else is a traitor (like the Aoun syndrome)…and the worst I think is how Lebanese especially Christians we say we are educated and peaceful etc. but we do the opposite…Look how we treat the Sarilanka maids in the other post on the blog…and we are very selfish etc. This is why Bashir always critisized the Christian way of thinking…and I think the Moslem Lebs are not better how they think and what they do.

I think it will take a long time but we will advance after many generation…I hope so because if we stay like this we will go extinct like the Dinosaur and the other nations they will say we were the stupidest people on earth…That’s what I think.

Nice reply Tareq, you covered all the points I tried to cover. My point is why isn’t there enough credit given to the people from the North ? Only jokes and more jokes. How can you build a nation when the Christians are so divided beyond repair ? If you say, lets fix the LF and stop this division, people will call you Aouneh or Marada. Everywhere in the world the city people critique the people of the mountain and vice versa…look at USA they say HICKS about the South people because they are simple people and they like shooting etc. And the South people they call the New York people Yankee Dandee

You asked why Kesrouwan people look down on the North they have nothing better well I know what you are saying but they look down on everyone not only North people It’s OK I think because they don’t hurt anyone it’s only talk.

The question about Sunni and Shia walking in Achrafieh do you know where they arrive? Only to the edge where it is commercial area that is closed on Sunday and they attack the building at entrance of Achrafieh, if they did walk into Achrafieh where people live what do you think it would happen? We are going to run away screaming help?? Rafi2 in Achrafieh when they hang the picture of Hafiz Assad 10 years ago we burn it 3 times…there was Syrian Moukhabart everywhere in Sassine and we burn the picture under their nose we are not afraid of some stupid Fate7 Islam people…but Achrafieh people don’t have to do a massacre to prove we are brave Walaou we still need to prove something after the war?

I know what you are saying that North people are strong everyone knows it in Lebanon but I am saying that it doesn’t mean you are superman and we are little girls that is all.
