I also lived in an area where it was noisy the whole night and what also annoyed me when everytime i came back home couldn’t find a parking space as it was all occupied.

Ziyad, I did not mean to be attacking toward you or Arze, I understand you also talked only about the noise source so my answer to you was only the first part. I understand your point but you know the fines are not enough specially in Lebanon, cleaning DT and kicking out the pubs is much better

Guys, if you live in the same building or near the pub you hear and you feel all the BASS at least (in Gemayze all buildings are close also). You can not make the pub 100% sound proof and every time the door opens you hear the music. I agree with you the noise from the street is also terrible but you can not control it, if you stop the zammour with the fines you still have the engine noise and if you make it pedestrian only you still have too many people (many people drunk!) talking loud and laughing and screaming ETC. Believe me it is LOUD.

This is why I ask to remove the pubs, for me it is the only solution that works 100%

Im from gemayze , and i lived there : )

My grand mother live there , and she was never bothered…Always said her famous quote: “Chabeb wou badon yi3icho wou yenbesto ” the people who work in the same building, always ask about her….in other words yes i know the area
