Dr.Najm addressed a letter today to all LFers through Annahar newspapers.
What this great thinker described in few words reflects what many LFers have been feeling lately, many committed and hard working LFers that feel lost nowadays and unappreciated.

Dr.Najm is addressing the LF Elites that stayed committed to the LF throughout all the years, From Bash’s time then Hakim’s rule, then Hakim’s jailing and the disbanding of the party.
Those few people are what kept the LF alive. They sacrified their best years working for a Cause not wanting anything in return except respect.

“ان الحياة الحزبية أكثر من ضرورية لاستقامة الديموقراطية”

هدفنا أن نكون طليعة المتحررين لنحرّر بالمثل الصالح والتضحية، فتحولنا عبيداً عند من استغلنا وأذلنا.فيا أيها المحازبون الشرفاء في كل مكان من لبنان، لنكفّ عن التصفيق الساذج وننتفض ونتحرّر من طغيان الفهارير!

We need to start by freeing ourselves, by knowing what we truly believe in, by being able to diffferentiate the wrong from the right, by doubting our leaders and questioning them instead of following blindly.

As Hakim said during his first speech at the airport:
I was freed from my small prison to free your from the big prison you have been put in.
Many are still living in that prison and are dragging others into their small prisons.

I just wanted to tell you that you did quote Hakim wrong. He didn’t say I was freed to free you. He said you’ve been freed so I was freed.

    Thanks

My Mistake concerning the quote, though it was the least important part of my quote.
I hope you emphasized on the first paragraphs.
    Regards,
