Lebanon Boycotts Syria
Posted by N10452Lebanon Boycotts Damascus Summit
As i was hoping for, Lebanon boycotted the Arab Summit being held in Damascus and most of the major Arab countries showed support by sending low-level delegations.
It is refreshing to see M14 boycotting Syrians officially and the Arabs almost boycotting Syrians as well.
I truly hope the next step will be closing the borders and stoppig all diplomatic relations until Syria leaves us alone ..
We shall never win any battle against this barbaric regime unless we take extreme and decisive measures ..

I was hoping for this measure too.
Syria must consider as an independent state.

Screw syria, Hopefully they will see the big picture that every one in the arab wourld knows they are scum and soon they will have no more chances.Syria act’s like they are not behind all the problems in the MiddelEast. All the pain they have caused to all the innocent poeple is going to come back to them and bit them in the ass.

not because this summit is in syria, but I think that one party to haifa wihbe, and nancy ajram is more qualified to unite Lebanese as all the Arab summits.

Well it was about time to take this good decision, in addition to some improvement in the Arab stance.

That’s good news, screw those scum bastards. I hope this is the first step and many to follow for us as lebanese to take a stand and face those assholes syrians once and for all. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, whatever it takes leave Lebanon alone.
7. kezballah | March 27th, 2008 at 4:56 am
Yes now they will close the border against the potato trucks. And they will blow up some car bombs.

Can someone please explain how this is a good decision for Lebanon when the issue of Lebanese affairs will surley come up during the summit but no one from Lebanon to represent his country/countrymen and their views? I am completely against Syria, HA, MA, etc. but I don;t see how this is a good decsion.

syria is Lebanon enemy…for them Lebanon is a stolen Land….the imperial powers took it from them..
before boycotting the arab summit ..we should kick out all the syrians from our land….
syria should release all the lebanese prisoners…and pay for all the destruction that the syrian army caused in Lebanon….if there is justice in this world….damascus should suffer at least half of what we suffered from the syrian army.

ceg, because the other Arab presidents are not going it is not probable to see serious decisions about Lebanon. So it is ok if Lebanon is not going.

I agree with Kezaballah!
Till today, still can’t believe that they took that decison!!!
Come on guys, we need more courageous decisions in the future.

at least people are starting to realize who our real enemy is … it’s syria not israel ,,,
israel is the palestinian’s enemy … israel did not harm like the syrian did ….
and honestly i think palestinians deserve an enemy like that who beats the crap out of them …
14. Ziyad | March 27th, 2008 at 12:54 pm
Johnny.B the genius, Syrian regime is an enemy but this doesn’t make Israel a friend, Israel harmed lebanon too, doesn’t matter if it is more or less than Syria did. The bottom line is that we have 2 agressive and murderous neighbors. Let’s not be as stupid as the thank you syria people…
15. elie | March 27th, 2008 at 1:43 pm
as far as i remember my parents and all our neighbours were happy when israel invaded lebanon to destroy the PLO….and whenever israel was kicking HA as* i was happy…i don’t hide my feelings…that is the reality…..i don’t feel that israel is an enemy…opposite to my feelings towards syrians and iranians…and their allies in lebanon….
That’s what big portion of us fell….just few of us show it. Johnny B. is showing it…and me too….who else?

Israel = Syria = bad Neighbors.
Each of them has bad objectives in our country.
I am happy that Cyprus is a sea away or else we’d be surrounded by shit.
