PS:I didnt have time to review that book, the author had one before called guerre maronite or something like that. She is a woman filled with hatred, unjustified hatred though against Samir Geagea and is just pouring it in her books, kinda reminds me of Cobra’s last book

However i did post it to expose some the atrocities committed during war, atrocities btw us Christians, maybe to get some readers to understand the consequences of reacting to the Kataeb members killed on Sunday, and the inner wars that it might start! .

    N,

    Since the post you wrote and asked in it about what really happened in Zahle, you have been accused of many things, but you’ve been so quiet since then.
    And here u’re posting something that looks a little bit against LF and within the Tayyar plan to search for anything in the past.
    In fact I share some of the ideas arguing with your last posts, in term of the message you delivered, and I truly (within my full respect for you) believe that you were not successfull in ur choice of dealing with the Zahle incident and now with this regina thing.
    First I ask you to defend urself and try to clarify ur message, maybe we all got it wrong, and second, despite the fact that I can criticize many things in this Regina book, but I just want to negociate one thing. The writer left Lebanon in 1986, the Lebanese war ended officially in 1991, eventhough I think it is still running, which means that her memory is lacking many things, and can’t be taken into consideration.
    You have to live all the war to give a right andf true testimony.
    For example Regina did not see what Michel Aoun caused, she did not realize what HA has caused etc… among others. and again, playing the tayyar game and considering the LF as the only guilty party. this is faulse history.

  • 6. Michele | April 24th, 2008 at 11:43 am

    Rodge, Regina is giving a testimony abt what she went through and not her overall opinion on what was happening. This is why she can’t mention Aoun or HA. She’s only talking abt what she knows and witnessed.

    I won’t be surprised if what she mentioned were true as we were in a war; have u ever seen an ethical and civilized war? No way!

    But i also agree wz u that Aoun and HA are not innocent at all; they did lots of crimes against humanity under false slogans…

    And what i admire abt this blog, that we don’t live in denial such like the Aounis and hezbis…

  • 7. Johnny.B | April 24th, 2008 at 11:52 am

    Like Michelle said,

    there is no civilised war, I would’ve done the same thing and maybe worse to my enemy …

  • 8. Patriot | April 24th, 2008 at 12:29 pm

    and what is strange is that you consider SG has done a big sacrifice for Lebanon for spending 11 years in jail???? this man has a lot of blood to his hands, of course like all other leaders…i don’t understand how we can put the war behind us while all of its symbols are on every night news!!

    despite if you consider el 2adiye as a big picture but at least you understand the other point of view: there are a lot of people especially Christians who have suffered enormously from LF during the war..
    i still remember in Amchit how LF use to stop red cross ambulances and kill army wounded inside…

  • 9. Michele | April 24th, 2008 at 12:46 pm

    I agree with U Patriot this is why it’s frustrates me when i see a criminal n traitor like MA still out loose, without being taking for trial for destroying 1st the christian then the lebanese community.

    As well it frustrates me even more that our gvmt did not condemn HA for the stupid July’s war n for dragging our country to such a disaster and killing thousands of lebanese!

    But the question Patriot is do u have b**ls to recognize n admit what ur leaders did?

    This is why M14 scores again n u lose…

  • 10. Johnny.B | April 24th, 2008 at 12:57 pm

    Michele,

    don’t bother, the only way they can talk against us, is by talking about the past, if it wasn’t for our past they would all be living like the palestinians in camps refugees in some country, and lebanon would be called palestine.

    and I also suppose that their idea of war is giving your enemy a flower while they murder your family and children.

    so let them talk whatever they want about our past, which I am very proud of.

    Patriot
    you said…”"i still remember in Amchit how LF use to stop red cross ambulances and kill army wounded inside”"
    what an idiot you are…Lebanese forces had captured several hundreds of Lebanese army soldiers and officers….in halat …sarba…faraya…adma…..were they killed ?….no….were they humiliated and tortured ?..no…ask any soldier or officer in halat military base….An ex Aouni…who was in the army at that time..told me that The Lebanese forces had strict orders not to hurt anybody….
    you idiot ..you just want to talk about what Lebanese forces did….what do you call bombing civilians in furn el chebbak and ein el roummaneh with the heavy artilery..and distroying buildings on the heads of civilians..and cutting the water…and the food supplies…prohibiting the ambulances from entering furn el chebbak for more than two weeks…i call it genocide …it looks like when your beloved general was killing civilians …you were sunbathing in amchit..you stupid…blind…
    did you ever asked yourself why michel aoun moved the 8th brigade from souk al gharb to jbeil and keserwan area during the so called liberation war….the 8th brigade soldiers were very experienced soldiers …he moved them from souk al ghareb front during the liberation war….to do what ?….to fight the LF…..of course….because that’s all what he wanted…he never wanted to kick the syrians out.
    so Patriot….either you talk about what every body did in the ilgaa war or you shut up…because while sunbathing in amchit your general was committing war crimes..in achrafieh sin el fil.ein el roummaneh..furn el chebback

    well-said elie …

  • 14. Bernard B | April 24th, 2008 at 3:41 pm

    Guys, wherever i go to read forums and opinions, i read hate, i read revenge i read killing i read blood, but i never read HOPE nor PEACE nor FORGIVENESS, We should be true christians we should always connect with each other… don’t u see that the continued hatered between LF and TAYYAR is going to kill the christian society in LEBANON? WHEN WILL U EVER WAKE UP AND SEE THAT SAMIR GEGEA AND MICHEL AOUN PERSONNAL PROBLEMS ARE BEING INHERITED BY THEIR FOLLOWERS? BECAUSE WE ALL KNOW THAT SOMETIMES AOUNI’S AND OUWET LIVE IN THE SAME HOUSE SLEEP IN THE SAME ROOM GO TO THE SAME SCHOOLS, PRAYS IN THE SAME CHURCHES….
    SO I GUESS THE PROBLEMS OF THESE 2 FREAKS SHOULDN’T APPLY ON US … YA CHABEB WEYN L ADDIYE L MAZBOUTA WEYN HELEM BACHIR??? WEYN HELEM LEBNEN?? PLEASE WAKE UP GUYS WAKE UP B4 IT’S TOO LATE FOR US CHRISTIANS…..
    TAYYAR+LF+KATAEB+AHRAR ARE OF THE SAME BLOOD, AND IF THEY DON’T MEET POLITICALLY THEY SHOULD MEET ETHICALLY….

    FINALLY I WISH IF LF GUYS STOP BLAMING TAYYAR OF BEING SYRIANS BECOZ U KNOW THAT THE CHABEB OF THE TAYYAR WERE THE FIRST TO DO ANTISYRIAN DEMONSTRATIONS ALONG THE LF SIDE, AND FOR THE TAYYAR IF THEY STOP THOSE STUPID BLAMES ON THE OUWET BECOZ WE KNOW THAT THE CHABEB OF THE OUWET R PEOPLE WHO LIVE AND DIE FOR LEBANON…
    THANK YOU

  • 15. Ziad | April 24th, 2008 at 4:57 pm

    All of a sudden naive Christians are talking how bad the LF were during the war. They forgot the mini Monte Carlo called Shar1ieh we were living in and all what they can remember is an LF guy bullying them over a parking spot in Ashrafieh or the 10% they paid on their reastaurant bill in Jounieh. Tfeh !
    We were no angels during the war and our excesses(tajawozat)are a small fraction to the protection and security we provided in these crazy times and is nothing compred to what the a-h Aoun has done to Christians with his wars and stupidities.

  • 16. Lebanese | April 24th, 2008 at 5:16 pm

    Listen people i am not defending anyone here as everyone from every side did bad things during the war becasue it was a WAR and people do bad things in war not good things. But my point here is that if our politicians keep going and remembering the past (like the dumbass MA is) then we will get no where for a better lebanon. These things can be dealt with at a later stage when we have control of our country. Their minds are still in the war game especially MA and HN. Our people ar starving and fleeing the country like you wouldn’t beleive and all they talk about is the past and the past non stop. Khalas we want to forget about the past and look at the future and if we don’t do that then we’re gonna stay in the past while everyone else watches us, laughs at us and moves on with their lives.
    I mean even the syrians are negotiating peace with their neighbour and we’re still fighting each other. Everthing we are doing to each other benefits isreal, syria, usa, iran and all of them.
    We need to stop looking at the past!!!

  • 17. dimz | April 24th, 2008 at 6:02 pm

    FYI, Regina’s book was out on October 2006 almost 2 years ago… tayyar people are doing a massive seach to find anything that can hurt the LF…

  • 18. Mourakib | April 24th, 2008 at 8:39 pm

    Irrespective of who is responsible of what and who is to blame or not or whether it is fair or not, I think that the LF has an opportunity to face the past and deal with the consequences and aftermath… and if they have to apologise for some of the un-civilized acts let it be.
    This will insure that the LF wagon will move foward and let the dogs keep barking;

  • 19. paul | April 24th, 2008 at 8:43 pm

    I received today a post from a very good friend, I think this is the right response to our past, I would like to thank him

    You and God…

    People are often unreasonable,
    irrational, and self-centered;
    Forgive them anyway.

    If you are kind, people may accuse
    you of selfish, ulterior motives;
    Be kind anyway.

    If you are successful, you will win some
    unfaithful friends and some genuine enemies;
    Succeed anyway.

    If you are honest and sincere
    people may deceive you;
    Be honest and sincere anyway.

    What you spend years creating
    others could destroy overnight;
    Create anyway.

    If you find serenity and happiness,
    some may be jealous;
    Be happy anyway.

    The good you do today,
    will often be forgotten.
    Do good anyway.

    Give the best you have,
    and it may never be enough;
    Give your best anyway.

    In the final analysis,
    it is between you and God;
    It was never between you and them anyway.

    Mother teresa.

    LF are the angels of this east and its devils

  • 21. zoro | April 27th, 2008 at 3:59 am

    If she had hatered she wouldn’t have stayed in the LF till the massacre among brothers startes.
    In addition, she wouldn’t have asked to see Geagea while writing the book to talk to him. Which he delayed many tiems and ended up askig one of his assisstant to talk to her.

    By the way, when she was fighting on the Fronts, I think many of the new guys in LF were not born yet, or were in diapers.

    If a person writes a glimpse of truth about the atrocities that occured between the “brothers” in the LF, it doesn’t mean that person holds lots of hatred to Geagea.

    A person who decided to use a pen to write is in my opinion much better and doesn’t have much hatred than thsoe who killed their rifa’ in cold blood.

    Maybe many of you do not know or didn’t live the dark moments of our history but over 300 LF guys were killed among the brothers fight. The majority of them were executed after the fights.

    For the new guys out there, no I am not a Hobeika Guy and at that tiem I was with Geagea. But the turth is the truth and we have to say it even if it is hard.

  • 23. ahiram kanaan | April 29th, 2008 at 7:17 pm

    East Beirut was less than 20% of Lebanon and circled by hell and fire from the criminal syrian army and its small agents.
    When a supposedly Ouwetgi betrays his comrads in arms at the front and opens paths to the syrian army to enter Achrafieh and destroy the free region, there’s only one solution to the traitor: death.

    He who worked for the syrians to control us, with shots and shells, is no longer an ouwetgi, kataeb, ahrar, Christian or even Lebanese.

    Regina is a shallow blind person who cries on her traitors freinds and cared none if the excursion of 27 september succeeded in giving away Achrafieh to the syrians.

  • 24. paul | April 29th, 2008 at 9:48 pm

    ahiram kanaan

    libnen K. and joseph B. were injured and in hospital. they were dragged out and killed.

    i am not deffending hk,but the way how they were killed is criminal ,”7atta ma nkoun mitl sourye”.

  • 25. ahiram.kanaan | May 1st, 2008 at 4:19 pm

    Had hk succeeded on 27/9/86 the syrians would have butchered hundreds of our men. Once someone fights for the syrians , no mercy.
