You see here is the point …its how you see your opponent tareq ! An Lf see the frenjieh relation with Syria as an alliance , as the fact taht frenjieh wants the syrian to be in lebanon , etc….
A Marada sees frenjieh relation with Syria as a startegic relations with the only neighboring country to lebanon .Specially in the north ! without the Syrians christians in the north would have been slaughtered by the sunni and the Palestinians during the war . I compare the Marada to Lahad army in the south (ex lahed army ) . During the civil war , Both christians in the north and in the south were threatened by palestinians , and each one allied with the closest country . The christians in the north asked the helped of the syrians , and the christians in the south asked the help from the Israelis , for one reason….there was no present state to defend both christians in the north and the south . i might consider Israel as a bigger enemy as syria ….But syria remains an ennemy for us . The point is not here…
What i ment ….is that the way u see things , should make us closer….When Lfers will start to understand that relation ship with assad family and when marada will for example see the lahad creation in different vision…then we christians will start to understand each other….

I know i put very little hope in those meetings….But i always believe in miracles

Arze, I was not disagreeing with you that meeting between all Maronites is a very good thing…I was just pointing you that you are hard only on LF but FPM say the same thing…You have to remember that some Christians suffered from GMA and they cannot forgive him…same thing if you suffered from Geagea or Jounblat and cannot forgive him…it’s OK I respect the emotions of these people but 90% of people will forgive IF there is agreement.

So the question is: Is agreement possible?? I hope so same as you that all Maronite leaders agree so the Christians can be strong again BUT I don’t think it will happen because they don’t want the same thing all of them…Franjieh maybe can forgive Geagea but what about the politics?…Can Franjieh change his alliance with Syria?…No that is not possible I think, some Christians like Marada SSNP etc. want to follow the Syria politics in Lebanon, some Christians like LF Kataeb are against the Syria politics so how can we agree?

No my Tareq ! Not at all , Aoun never considered Geagea and amine gemayel as enemies ! they ve launched a war on him since he came to lebanon ! i dont think Aoun was in the itife2 el rouba3e ? was he ? You isolated him , put that in mind ! Concerning the elections ! You provoked michel aoun days and days and month , stating that he lost his popularity and yet a simple man that i still dont remember his name won over an ex president , father and brother of martyrs ….
There is blood between all the christians , and tha doesnt mean that mister samirgeageaka2edna has to discourage the maronites meetings ! I once said that geagea should be left alone , but now , i deeply think that amine , sleiman , michel and geagea should meet the 4 of them together and get along , these are the only 4 christian leaders who need to sit and talk and find once and for all a solution …I dont put to much hope on it , but i pray for it ! i dont see it , but i wish to fool my eyes and see it ! So yes it was worth saying all this for the guy above ! He reminded me of the main reasons i quit and hated the lebanese forces !

Arze uff uff uff isn’t it too much to say all this because some people don’t want compromise with GMA??…Wasn’t GMA trying another Ilgha war against Amine Jmayel 2 months ago in the elections?…So will you say ras Aoun bado ate3 also?…you are forgetting that GMA considers Ouwet and Kateib as enemies since 1990 so why say all that you said if some Ouwet and Kateib consider GMA the enemy for them also?…There is blood between us like there is blood with Jounblat…if GMA change course like Jounblat then most people will forgive him but if not then what do you expect from us to say??
