Hezbollah kidnapps French deleguate !
Posted by N10452Another civilized act by the terrorist Hezbollah !!
I wonder how they will justify that !!
In my opinion, they heard him speak french, but considering their illiteracy ( sermeyit el sayyid 7assin abda min el 3elem), they thought it was hebrew so they took him away !
Update: One of our readers ‘c’ pasted an article where it shows HA released them only after he knew they were not Israelis.
So my joke turned out to be real …
A French delegate to a Socialist International meeting in Beirut said on Sunday that he had been briefly detained the previous day by armed men linked to Hizbullah.
Delegate Karim Pakzad told a Beirut news conference that he was stopped on Saturday by armed men who “spoke on behalf of Hizbullah.”He said they questioned him for five hours before freeing him.
Pakzad said it happened as he was touring the capital in an open-top car with a Lebanese friend and taking pictures of a mosque along the airport road, near Hizbullah’s stronghold in Beirut’s southern suburbs.
“Armed men asked us ‘why do you have a camera’ and ‘what are you doing here,’” before viewing the pictures he had taken with his digital camera, Pakzad said.
He was taken blindfolded to an unidentified location where he was kept isolated for five hours, adding that his captors took away his cell phone, wallet and medicine.
Progressive Socialist Party leader Walid Jumblat, who hosted the press conference, said he wished that the government “alone” would be in charge of security and of the war-and-peace decision.

Your right N…..
But a question occured to me when i heard about it
“Why would a french Socialist in the car with a lebanese socialist would take a picture of a mosque on a hezbollah majority area?”
Think of it N…and tell me if it doesnt have a 5 % chance that it was done on purpose knowing that some1 will come up and attack them !
5 % N…not 100% …5% : )
2. Hanoun | April 27th, 2008 at 8:30 pm
Arze, its funny how you come up with an explanation every time N reports something against HA, LET ME MAKE SOMETHING CLEAR TO YOU, LEBANON IS FOR ALL LEBANESE AND ALL LEBANESE CAN GO ANYWHERE THEY WANT AND TAKE ANY PICTURES THEY WANT AND THE SAME GOES TO EVERY TOURIST THAT VISITS LEBANON, NO ONE HAS THE RIGHT TO STOP ANYONE UNLESS THEY ARE FROM THE POLICE OR THE ARMY, this just goes to show you how HA is building a state in a state…
3. Tony|ouwet | April 27th, 2008 at 9:04 pm
By the way arze if u heard the french socialist is muslim maybe thats why hes taking a picture of the mosque lool see how stupid ure reply is
4. Ali 1559 | April 27th, 2008 at 9:48 pm
Lebanese won’t be fooled again about terrorism Ya N10452. Done deal. Listen here, since your ISF and the gov behind them cant protect our politicians from being killed , then each and every single political organization has all the right to protect its own. If you cant provide me with security khaweja ,then what do you expect me to do ?? Wait on the X enemy to come and kill all my leaders while im watching and crying?
In fact, we(in lebanon) are in a new ERA and require a different approach to our political system. Our gov is not reliable and this is exactly why we are witnessing the AL AMEN AL ZATI lately..
At last, let ask you this N, would you like me to go up to me3rab and take few pics of geagea’s house ?
Logic talk !
5. Mickel | April 27th, 2008 at 10:07 pm
Arze
All he did was take a picture of a mosque which is normal since he’s a Muslim.
He unfotunately had to pass in that slum because it’s on the way from the airport.
So can LFers arrest people in Bcharri if they take pictures of a church?
I’m afraid that HA is starting to do things that the Palestos in the 60s and early 70s.
And I fear that someday, they’re going to do something to someone, and that person isn’t going to like it, and it will be a new April 13.
6. Johnny.B | April 27th, 2008 at 10:14 pm
Mickel has a good point ya Arze
7. c | April 27th, 2008 at 11:03 pm
N, and you thought you were joking!!
according to the BBC: (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/7370040.stm)
“Hezbollah said the two were released after it had made sure Mr Pakzad and his companion were not Israelis.”
8. N10452 | April 27th, 2008 at 11:30 pm
Haha !! thank you c …. i wouldnt be surprised …
Arze,
Why the hell would a european politican get himself into such trouble ?? i dont think there is 0.1 % !! his only mistake is that he thought Lebanon was truly a democratic country and that HA is not a terrorist party ..
Ali_1559,
Fooled again ?? ma HA is prooving one day after the other every singl word i am saying … he is not even doing an effort to keep himself from such labeling ..
we need HA to be disarmed or bye bye Lebanon .. its as simple as that

Their area should be transformed into parking lots…
10. chris_b | April 28th, 2008 at 2:17 am
If this french guy was arrested by any lebanese official security force than the full story would come out and hiw rights would be protected. However since its up to some people to be their own law enforecment + their own judge + ofcourse make their own laws, Than this means that these people have their own country within lebanon. So to all HA and FPM stop lying to us and yourselves and just declare your areas as mini-iran and lets us have our free lebanon under the lebanon constitution. This way you may arrest or prosecute as you wish. Its a shame to defend what HA did.

Good input Ali1559, there is no need for more explanations.
And N10452
Would you please answer Ali’s question? At last, let ask you this N, would you like me to go up to me3rab and take few pics of geagea’s house ?

13. TrueLeb | April 28th, 2008 at 6:14 am
There is a big difference between this forum and the Tayyar.org forum .
By checking the Tayyar forum and then coming here you will notice a big difference .
Tayyar is a much more civilised and more intelligent site.
all what you see here is kids insulting the one ond only representative of the Leb Christians General Aoun. all what u see here is swearing and ignorant children hoping that Aoun will die today so that they can inherit his popularity.
i mean, come on boys. aren’t you sick of this all? why not work hard for something instead of sitting in the corner waiting for someone to die to inherit him?
shoo? u all became like amine gemayel who inherited his father, brother and son … and now waiting to inherit his sister (sister arzi gemayel alla ytawwil bi 3omra) bel rahbani.

What to do ya TrueLeb. It is the environment that turned us into thugs. I grew up on the streets of Ta7weeta and dropped out of Sanaweit S3aeed on April 75.My debut in LF thugary was helping the Shabeb in transporting sand bags into the front and roof tops(to protect nerds like you or your parents),and still I cant explain how the hell I got a degree from a top East Coast university and at present owning and running a company with 300 emoployees in 3 countries.

wa mina el hobbi ma qatal .
by trying to protect me you destroyed me .
were u trying to protect me when ur hakim attacked ehden?
were u trying to protect me when ur 3isabi attacked east sayda forcing all the christians of the area to flee after ur militia ran away from the battle?
were u trying to protect me when ur 3isabi attacked the drouze in the jabal and ran away before the druze hajjarou el maseehiyyi from there?
were u trying to protect me when ur 3isabi started fighting the lebanese army?
i don’t understand. please mention to me one war ur hakim was involved in and it was for my benefit as a christian. JUST ONE WAR.
16. Michele | April 28th, 2008 at 7:47 am
Trueleb sweety, we have no choice but talk to u like that coz u won’t understand in any other way!
I know we shouldn’t get low to ur level but instead to elevate u but it’s proven that this would not only be a difficult mission but an impossible one.
Take for exemple Arze and Ali1559 comments and i’m sure u will agree with me!!!
Plus whenever we ask them a slightly smart question based on facts they simply disappear!!! i.e.:
Ali it’s funny u are mentioning the murdering and assasination occuring only to one part of the lebanese politiciens; c’mon doesn’t that puzzles u at least a bit when none of the March 8 is targeted!!
Now watch that Trueleb, Ali will disappear n won’t be able to answer.
Hope u’ll enjoy the show
17. TrueLeb | April 28th, 2008 at 7:50 am
one more thing ziad …
who were u trying to protect me from? the tewteen?
now lets see who is the liar… u or ur hakim? ur hakim said that there is no tewteen .
this makes me wonder about the adiyyi ur fighters died for.
is it for the sake of gathering all the christians in one area and ruling them?
think about it ….
kicking christians out of the south, out of the jabal all towards jbeil and keserwan . what does this make u think?
18. TrueLeb | April 28th, 2008 at 8:18 am

smalla entou ya ewwatjiyyi shoo zkeya . zakekon a3adkon 11 years in jail.

YEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I WIN!!!!!!!!
Even truleb can’t answer a simple question!!!!!
Bass plz mat seddo ktir la bouzak otherwise there won’t be much people to make fun of!!!!
And speaking of 11yrs of jail, u are right that was not just clever but brave; Wish Geagea had run away to a french embassy then to France spending the money of the people who believed in him, drinking bordeaux wine and enjoying best cognac. Then come back wz a green light from the syrians and be lucky enough to find stupid people still believing in him.
Yep that was very clever!!!
20. Ziad | April 28th, 2008 at 8:35 am
TrueLeb,You are destorting historic facts. The Christians since 1969 were on the defence. They fought for their survival and existence and I am not in aposition here to prove this to you.We never said they didn’t make strategic mistakes like going to Ehden,Jabal or East Saida,(You see, I admit of mistakes) and other Tajawozat, but keep in mind the overall cause of the war: defence.
Now, the damage to the Christian society which was done by all our Tajawozaet and mistakes is not equal to a day in the 2 wars your General has initiated during his 2 years in Baabda.
Now, do you have the courage to talk about the huge blunders your General has put us in or, being a typical Aouni you will defend blindly and will end up telling us that the half-man half-God General Aoun never made a single mistake in his life?
21. paul | April 28th, 2008 at 9:18 am
allah ykammishne fi bkisirwen
22. Rodge | April 28th, 2008 at 11:22 am
TrueLeb!!!!
I don’t want to answer you in politics or arguing ur ideas, since first I know you will not be able to answer me straight and you will run as you and ur friends always do by putting more accusations, and second because the guys here dealt with you like they should.
But in return I will make some observations about ur language and the total contradiction in you.
First you said, and I quote: “”By checking the Tayyar forum and then coming here you will notice a big difference. Tayyar is a much more civilised and more intelligent site”".
and later, you start to use the following sentences, and I quote also:
“”now waiting to inherit his sister (sister arzi gemayel alla ytawwil bi 3omra) bel rahbani”".
“”wa mina el hobbi ma qatal”"
“”seddayteeli bouzi bi zakeki”"
“”3ala sheklou shaksheklou”"
SO USING THESE KINDS OF WORDS AND OWN LOGICS IS CIVILIZED?? you consider urself civilized, try to start with picking up ur own words and try to respect others.
One last thing, in a simple question to answer your question concerning the wars won by Hakim, I will only mention among others the Chnata & Deir Bella battle in the North which prevented the Syrians from occupying many areas of Batroun Kaza, and the January 15 1986 whcih led eventually to the best era in the Christian areas before ur General came and messed with all the situation.
In return give me one war won by ur Aoun. Don’t bother urslef, since u will find any.
23. Rodge | April 28th, 2008 at 11:24 am
Ali1559,
I don’t have to defend myself, since I can’t see any reason to do so, but in order to prevent other people from misunderstanding.
I have some points to clarify:
- First: I tried so hard to treat you as someone who is grown enough and someone who have a logic in his arguing, and I respected you in all my previous replies and you can read them once again to realize that. But when you started to disrespect me, I was forced to deal with you in the same way.
- Second: I never run out of words, and I can argue with you or anyone a whole century without losing words, words are my job, i’m a journalist and don’t forget that, in addition i’m a Political journalist, which means i have tons of information and knowledge that you can’t imagine having urself.
- third: you tend to accuse me of being a racist or extremist or wahtever, and I have to tell you that I live njow in a Muslim country (Kuwait), where Sunnis and Shiaas are a majority, and I respect both of them and have many friends among them, as well as among Lebanese or others from different religions (many of them are Shiaas pro Hizbullah also) and I respect them all.
- Fourth: there is a difference between discussing with someone who can reply logically and someone who replies always in the same way and far from the main subject, and that’s what you have done.
- Fifth: it’s so easy to accuse people and describe them of many things, but I advise you first to look where you did wrong in this trade of ideas between us, and you will realize then where u went wrong.
- Sixth: and again, i’m always ready as I said before to discuss with anyone in the most respectful way, and I have a lot to say and to convince other people, and to face any idea, and I already asked the Aounists and HA people many questions but did not receive any answer yet, which is one of the reasons I decided not to reply again, but it seems this is the only promise i can’t deliver.
24. Rodge | April 28th, 2008 at 11:33 am
Now back to the main topic of the post.
From now on, we should arrest anyone taking photos of a church in Bcharri or Me3rab since our friends the tayyarists mentioned that, or maybe we should put some adds in the airport for every tourist coming to Lebanon telling him that the country is photoless, or a pictureless country, so for all tourists, when you come to Lebanon, prepapre ur suitcases, but don’t bring ur cameras.
In fact why to bother themselves and take pictures, they can call the Israelis who are taking pictures by the second from their satellites monitoring Lebanon.
Or else, you should only be an Israeli journalist to be welcomed to take pictures in Dahieh, isn’t that what really happened?? where were HA when the Israeli journalists came and complete their work without anyone asking??? It’s the resistance lie.

Ziad
what i mentioned was only a small part of ur hakim’s mistakes.
if i was to mention them all i would spend days and days typing here.
the conclusion of this is that Christians are sick of ur ewet and that’s why u guys have no popularity these days. ppl are sick of militias.
Rodge
you mentioned to me those 2 battles that the ewet faught and u are proud of them but did u ever ask urself about the price we had to pay for those battles? and after all, the syrians still entered those areas and not only that, u also helped them enter the Baabda palace thinking that this will rid u of Aoun but ur hakim forgot that a traitor will never gain the enemy’s respect and he was treated as a traitor. yalla bikhoun baladou ou 3alam bledou loses the world’s respect and will be treated as a traitor by everyone. that’s why when geagea went to syria after that begging asad to meet him asad refused and a short while after that jeajea got what he deserved for betraying his country.
and finally to answer your question about which war aoun faught and was good for us i will tell u that he faught the war of liberation and he won it because if it wasn’t for him we would not have had the right to ask for our independance because everyone (except Aoun) gave it up to the syrians. the second war he faught is against the eqta3 and militia life style that we were living and he won it and look at the results now … militias are losing popularity and Aoun is gaining it. The only thing left now is for the patriotics to rule the country and put all the militia leaders in prison where they belong.
Tony
please ma tnettelna hala2 bel sabb and saying that nehna ma aherna ghair ur hakim and all that haki yalli ma elou ta3mi . ok?
27. TrueLeb | April 28th, 2008 at 12:02 pm
Johnny
gaining ur enemy’s respect is something that should make u proud.
as i mentioned before, traitors will be treated as traitors by everyone even their enemies, and heros will be heros even in the eyes of their enemies.
28. Johnny.B | April 28th, 2008 at 12:30 pm
TrueLeb,
respect is one thing and a pat on the back is something else.
they did not say this because they respect him, they did this because he did them a good job.
29. Michele | April 28th, 2008 at 1:33 pm
TRUELEB are u for REAL????!!!!!! OMG!!!!!!
Keep on thinking like that n u will be easily replacing Arze on that BLOG!!!!!
Can u get any dumber???!!!! When i think that u did but u keep on amazing me wz more stupidities?
Again what did Aoun win???!!!! He won a bunch of idiot followers that what Aoun won!!!
30. Rodge | April 28th, 2008 at 2:33 pm
TrueLeb,
Do you really believe in what you said??
I pitty for you if you do.
First Aoun who contributed in allowing the syrians to come back again and he’s doing the same now.
Second, every war or battle has its price, but at least when ou win it for goos reasons you accept to pay the price, but when you lose it and lose many things with, that will be the real price.
Liberation war and war against Iqta3ieh??? ha ha ha ha I’m gonna laugh for the rest of my life on this. If you’re right about that, well i’m sorry to tell you that the result of this war is that the Iqta3ieh is still exist and he added a new Iqta3ieh to that, the one of Gebran Bassil, Aoun family and others.
Liberation war??? yes, it brought the Tef agreement, thousands of death ad injured, and billions of losses, but above all we Christian lost a lot. so thanks for this win, we don’t need it

Michele
When did I run away from you form you 3yne? Your 14th of march are targeting each others, but you guys are 2 little to understand the game going around you. It is so easy to keep you guys busy , all it takes is some political feed back from saad al hariri and then you guys forget about it. This is what happens when focus on your allaince and 4get about your own issues (N10452 addressed this issue so many times b4, w kell mara tije inta w ghayrak tssibou)….
Anyway , was F.al hajj (allah yir7amo) part of the 14th of march ?
Now , why dont you answer my question on this , also 3mol ma3rouf answer my question on # 4 as well..
PS : In the past , the responsibility for conflict resolution was often given to the christian lebanese president and other individuals with established authority and responsibility . Today, the pic is changing, YOU ARE PASSING IT TO THE SUNNI PRESIDENT.

40. Michele | May 1st, 2008 at 10:37 am
Ali, i’m sooooooo glad u mentioned Francois el Hajj as he was one of the most opposed to what was going on with the opposition and this is why he got killed!
He is the uncle of my wife’s cousin who is from Rmeich.
He always told her how disgusted he was from z situation mostly from Michel Sleiman how he led the Nahr el Bared war.
Futhermore on so many occasions and during a family dinner where i was present, he openly expressed his disappointed from Aoun.
So tell me ya 7aboob what u got to answer me now!!!!
See ya Ali when u wanna play wz me at least be prepared!
Sorry I score again and u lose big time!
Plz plz, don’t run away now n hide behind ur momma’s skirt!
