Government on the way ..

It looks like we are gonna have a government after all, but of course be prepared for last minute surprises from Aoun.
Berri came back from his trip to represent Lebanon in the Francophonie summit, not sure how humiliating this representation would have been to Lebanon.

Aoun will not get what he asked for, Ministry of interior & defense will remain for the president, instead his bloc is getting 5 ministers and the LF supposebly getting 2 ministries.

As for who gets what ? its still unclear till now but LF most probably are gonna get justice & tourism.

What i am interesting in is the bayan wizari now and how humiliating it will be to M14 if there is no mention of dialogue to resolve HA’s weapons.

    It took a couple of months to divide the ministries equally, now it’s going to take another two or three months to agree on government’s “manifesto”.

    So by the time this government is ready to start working, the election would have started.

    The government manifesto will include that Lebanese has te right to resist and for a resistance as long as the country is occupied. And the LF will sign and approve because these days the money is more important than your ideology. Same as what happened when the LF got one minister and the bayen el wizare said hizballah ahs the right to resist.

    Rambo, I don’t think that this time around, the LF and M14 will give Hezbollah as much freedom as the last government, especially after what in May.

    Fuziyad, Ibrahim Najjar was Kata2eb Political Bureau before the 1990, he is not LF.

    N, U HIT THE SPOT
    1: As for the bayen wizari, i think they will copy and paste the khitab el kasam of the president Sleiman,like this no one will feel cornered or under pressure since no president has ever did what he promised to do,especially that DSG signed bita7afoz on Sleiman,so all the mistakes that will be made all the blame will be on the president.

    2: As for the LF ministers i doubt it will be tourism,i heard that there’s a misunderstanding between safadi and the LF on the ashghal, and sure they will not get 2 ministers,

    3: i wish all the luck to Alain Tabourian with the electricity,does he really know what to expect with a ministry under debt 1 billion dollars /year?

    4: i heard the name of Ziad Baroud as the minister of interior security, is he the one who was working with Fouad Boutros with the election law that no one respected what they’ve tried to do to solve major problems?

    I think Rambo is right. As sad as it is, LF and Mustaqbal will eventually give in. But of course, I hope not. We are all putting our faith in Geagea and Hariri to stand up and show us real leadership in all this…

    Also, once the dialogue over Hezbollah’s weapons begins, there is the possibility that the opposition will threaten to veto all cabinet decisions (thanks, ya General…) unless/until the majority agrees to the right of the “resistance” to keep their weapons…

    Sigh.

    in any case, the reality of the relation Hariri/LF will be now revealedknown..we will see how much weight LF has..if a good and reapectfull relation, Hariri should give them ally seats, if just followers and the weak christian voice (al ghata al masihe) this will be easly recondnizable..let us wait and see
