Sam Lebanon can’t go back to its original identity because that didn’t work, neither did any of the other identities. Plus if you want Lebanon to go back to its original identity, that means having the Christians retake all the power and the muslims won’t accept that.

And yes I do think that if the Lebanese can’t agree on Lebanon’s identity, then it should be divided — or we’ll be doomed to a never-ending conflict.

And lek ya 7abibe, you can talk about hezbollah being good, and syria being good and all that crap you’ve saying, but comparing BASHIR to MOGHNIYYEH!!! is crossing the line. so watch what you’re saying. Moghniyye tainted our country’s reputation while BASHIR kept our country.
That’s the stupidest most illogical and disrespectful comparison i’ve ever read. Moghniyyeh ma byeswa shrit sobbato l BAchir.

mickel .. thank you for your respectful way of communication.. still,you are asking me to accept to divide lebanon.. please allow me not to accept that …
lebanon will survive if it go back to its original identity.. in the middle.. wether it goes to the east or the west it will be led to a civil war… if HA push the country in a way they are leading us to disaster , if the others push to the west they are leading us to disaster too,,
maximus.. am asking you to respect the diferences.. still you are not able too.. if each party insist on insulting the other parties simbols and believes we will reach no where but war… the israelies stoped calling HA as terrorists and you are insisting on calling 30 % of them this way.. you think it will be a good way if i call Bashir a criminal the way you are calling moghniye a terrorist? these two men are great symbols for the majority of lebanese each in his part .

Moreover, if you stop prejudging me and attacking me and try to really read what am writting and go back to my writings ( example# 32) you will see that i do compare HA and ouwet…
i dont know if you are living in lebanon or outside guys .. but if you are ever obliged to travel for work or to survive you will know how precious our country is and you will look into what combine us and not what seperate us…

Freedom is earned not given. If you think that you can liberate Lebanon from the Syrians, Iranians and their militias without paying massive amount of lives as a tribute you are illusionist. Freedom’s price was always paid in heavy and I mean really heavy amount of blood. If the Lebanese aren’t willing to pay the price of freedom they will never have it.

Sam in Lebanon, there are two completely different points of view, so this whole ‘difference in opinion’ that you’re talking about can’t exist in Lebanon becasue it’s not just a difference in opinion, it’s a difference in ideologies and these two different ideologies can’t live together.

We’re not talking about different religious views, or beliefs or small things like that, we’re talking about a country’s identity and there can’t be two opinions when it comes to that.

Start to admit that the LF was the first resistance that permit Lebanon to survive the syro-palestinian invasion as you are asking me to consider hezbullah as a resistance to israel. Don’t come here talking about “open up” and “accept that there are others linving in the country” without applying it to yourself. I am not a menace for you. Christians are not armed. You are. And you are using your arms against other lebanese. Start by asking yourself if you are taking into consideration the other lebanese. We are talking politics, not politics related to wages and social security, but politics related to survival of nations, faith and identity. So we can be cordial but spare us your smile…

why do you insist that we need to convince each others in everything maximus? why arent we allowed to think differently? who said we should be identical? believe me it is healthy to have differences in opinions .. the same way it is healthy to smile:)
stop being angry man …you should be happy to have a different opinion in this forum. i am expressing a moderate different point of you.. the view of the others living in the country..
you should open up people and accept that there are iothers living in the country who shares lot of things with you and they do diferentiate in other things ..
but most important we share this small country and we have to learn to accept each others and live in peace togather…
man the christian and muslim families who escaped lebanon to israel in 2000 are desperate to come back.. believe me we have more in comun as lebanese then we do with the israelies..
danny .. sorry man.. this is my opinion ,, the egyptians didnt reach peace with israel till the 73 war.. we dont have anything to give them.. you believe in there good will .. i dont..i believe i should be strong enough to have peace with these people.. am just giving my opinion.. i respect yours.. learn to respect mine…
