Clashes between Lebanese Forces, SSNP
Posted by N104526 Wounded in Clashes between Lebanese Forces, SSNP
Six people were wounded in overnight clashes between Samir Geagea’s Lebanese Forces and the Syrian Social Nationalist Party in north Lebanon, security sources said Sunday.
They said the clash with sticks in the town of Deddeh in the northern Koura province soon degenerated into exchanges of gunfire that left six people wounded.
Lebanese army troops and policemen stepped in and contained the fight.
Lebanese Forces sources said the clash broke out when members of the SSNP attacked an LF office in Deddeh, damaging a sign.
Naharnet.

This will keep happening unless serious procedures are taken against the attackers.

The SSNP is the cancer of Lebanon, they should all be deported to Syria.

N10452, shou haide “Samir Geagea’s Lebanese Forces” ? A mouth slip or a well thought proposision ?
To everyone’s benefit, and before we jump to unnecessary conclusions, would you care to explain ?

I was a bit surprised that you have identified the LF as “Samir Geagea’s Lebanese Forces”. I am not sure that the SSNP would make any difference though!

he wrote what Naharnet wrote, I dont think he meant it the way it was written…

Send the garbage back to syria and close the fucking border, leave us alone.

Hanoun, true what you said however the news could have been quoted from different sources and that’s what I was eluding to. Had I posted this article, I would’ve disclaimed Naharnet’s motives at the least. Sure, the Israelis have their own agenda. We ought to question their motives, and swiftly respond to unite our ranks. Historically , although on the surface it appeared as though they helped us, in reality, they tarnished our reputation in the region and left us for the dead. You see, the Christians and the Jews are two worlds apart.
Anyway, back to the subject, the Lebanese Forces do not belong to anyone in particular, that’s what separate us from the rest.
We are the defenders of Lebanon, of the freedom and dignity of this nation.
Samir Geagea did incredibly well for the party, he carried the torch in the good time and in the bad times and paid dearly for it.
For that, I am forever indebted to this man.

christians and jews are not two worlds apart.
personally, i loved sharon. on the other hand, i will never forget what ehud barak did in 2000, abandoning jaysh lubnan al-janubi to the wolves, making an agreement with hezbollah, allowing hezbollah to take the IDF positions as the IDF withdrew, refusing to fire on hezbollah, allowing hezbollah to take the SLA’s positions, to disarm them, to kick them out, etc. the IDF even bombed the SLA positions as they left.
my point is: one israeli is not identical to the next, just as one christian is not identical to next.
just look at geagea and aoun…

Arabs are second degree citizens in our lovely neighboring state, including Christians Arabs.
My reference above stand in the pretext of the context in question.

sniper:
if you were israeli, would you see a difference between a christian palestinian and a muslim palestinian? what was the difference between arafat and george habash?
of course palestinian christians are our brothers, but understanding where the israelis are coming from is not outside the realm of possibility.
don’t forget jews were second-class citizens in lebanon. back when there actually were lebanese jews, of course.

I welcome all Lebanese to come back to their home land irregardless of what their religion might be whereas Israel want a Jewish-only state.
BTW, the Israeli propaganda seem to have infiltrated pretty much everywhere. I fail to “understand where the israelis are coming from.”
Hello !! were you around two years ago, didn’t Israel invade and bomb Lebanon. Weren’t these Lebanese children that got massacred ? Today we disagree politically but we have to stay united NO MATTER WHAT. No to anyone’s occupation, not the israelis, nor the syrians, nor any other invader. This is essentially why I started this debate, given N10452 reference to Naharnet’s claim about “Samir Geagea LF”. Like they’re setting the field for dividing the rank of the LF.

how is what nasrallah says about jews any different than what some jews say about arabs?
“if they [jews] all gather in israel, it will save us the trouble of going after them worldwide.”
“they [jews] are a cancer which is liable to spread again at any moment.”
“there is no solution to the conflict in this region except with the disappearance of israel.”
“throughout history the jews have been allah’s most cowardly and greedy creatures. If you search the entire face of the earth you will not find anyone more miserly than the jews or more greedy than they.”
“jews invented the legend of the holocaust”
“if we searched the entire world for a person more cowardly, despicable, weak and feeble in psyche, mind, ideology and religion, we would not find anyone like THE JEW. NOTICE, I DO NOT SAY THE ISRAELI”
19. Patrick | February 26th, 2008 at 9:00 pm
don’t get me wrong.
when israel decided to take on hezbollah, i supported them in that. but then when they destroyed lebanon, i reversed my decision, and i feel the same way about what they did to the country as you and anyone else.
but there is no difference between a racist jew and a racist arab.
