AUB elections were held today and as per the latest results, M14 won the majority of the seats.
Their logo this year was a student holding a pen ( in black) and a yellow background, very much resembling the Hezbollah flag.

I found it very smart, it is sending a clear message that our sole weapon should be our pen, our voice and not destructive missiles and weapons.

Mabrouk for M14.

The elections results at the AUB are important and I agree with Jim; it shows the direction among the university students. AUB is also of special interest because of its mixed students population…

I do care too because they are the future leaders of our country. If anyone does not care, then why are you reading the blog and also taking the efforts to comment?

Most of students are not even old enough to vote for parliament election so it is only important for the political party to get members…But it is not important for parliament election because it is the vote of the parents who they support.

  • 16. someone who found this by accident | February 19th, 2008 at 11:30 pm

loool you guys seriously need a life! haha
i found this by accident, i dont even know how. i skimmed through it because it would be pointless to read the same thing over and over again! yea sure you guys got the majority of the votes but it was very close, or so ive heard. but in real elections were everyone else votes, not only aub students, i think the outcome is very different dont u guys agree? i mean you have to otherwise that would just be an outright lie. the whole point is, enjoy ur little victory, after all “you won a battle not the war” look it up its a very famous and very true quote ;) . haha thanks you guys for the laugh it was very refreshing to read what others think. even though i DONT agree but we all have different opinions right? maybe we should all have a little more respect for each other maybe that would save our country from where its heading. after all we’re all lebanese but unfortunately many of you forget that. oh n btw im an aub student n i was there too and there were no fights except for a little incident that doesnt qualify as a fight since the jeish intervened.
