engineer’s syndicate in march?? thought this was in april???
2. libanon | March 9th, 2008 at 11:08 pm
They must have packed full all the planes coming from KSA. By the way your facts are very wrong(as usual), there was an election of civil and agriculture only, mouwelet won civil, opposition won agriculture.
And if you want real test of popularity look at the university elections where bribes are of no use to march 14(like in kulliyyet al 2adaab last time)

“الفرع السابع: ابراهيم جودت ابو صوان، ايمن شفيق زين الدين، ايلي نجيب حاج موسى، سهيل فؤاد عوض، ميشلين يوسف وهبه”
This is a pile of bulls**t, all five of opposition(3 tayyar one hezbollah and one communist) in firi3 al sebi3 won. These names that you gave are wrong.

m one of the 23,000

When the opposition barely wins, like in Metn, they forget about details like who participated and who came from Syria in buses, or who voted for Michel aoun and who voted for Michel El Murr and not because he cares for Aoun or his “great ideas”. When they lose, they always try to look smart!
7. kezballah | March 10th, 2008 at 7:12 am
libanon, yeah “they” packed the planes full of LEBANESE engineers making a living in KSA. Why didn’t “you” pack the planes full of LEBANESE engineers making a living in Iran? Don’t you have enough like Imad Mughnia working in terror engineering in Iran?
8. Rodge | March 10th, 2008 at 11:11 am
There are 3 major syndicates in Lebanon, Engineers, Doctors and Lawyers.
Now the 14 March won 2 of them, and the winners in the third (lawyers) were not politically affiliated to anyone.
And still, the 8 March people always find a reason to criticize and accuse, while they refuse to realize a fact.
Now about the universities elections, they only see the “kulliyyet al 2adaab” as libanon said, while forgetting many other universities and colleges.
Just for the record libanon and partners, the LF & Kataeb did not particpate to the elections in the college you mentioned, and they announced that before the elections took part. So please stop seeing one sole elections among dozens and realize that there is a fact, the majority is a real majority and ur people are a real minority.
It’s always the same accusations, money and planes from KSA etc…, so now the Lebanese working in KSA or elsewhere are not real Lebanese?? and who said they are all pro Future or pro 14 March, and if they are it’d not because they were granted with money, but because they are not blind followers and they can perfectly choose between right and wrong.
It is only by accepting the fact that there is a majority and a minority in Lebanon that we can agree on the other issues.
9. Rodge | March 10th, 2008 at 11:13 am
… Also i don’t think any bribery or planes coming from KSA can lead to this sweeping result of 123 against only 8.
So stop this nonsense please
10. Patriot | March 10th, 2008 at 11:50 am
HEY guys
what’s the story..i am reading in all sources and they all are saying the opposite of what you are posting..seems that this is a preliminary thing and that M14 lead in one of the branches?
where can we find the reality?
11. Tarek | March 10th, 2008 at 12:25 pm
Patriot, stop reading the “other” sources, in this preliminary election, M14 got 123 seats and M8 got 8 seats. There are 7 branches, M8 won only the seventh and not the whole of it. You should know how your people are always ready to lie as they have always done. Sincerely like 90% of what they say turn out to be a big fat lie don’t you remember the “photoshop” scandal. I mean how can you trust these people? They were lying to you the very you, they were deceiving you and yet you still look up for them …. pathetic.
12. wassim | March 10th, 2008 at 2:31 pm
honnestly i dont know who to believe in those elections but what i am sure off is that in 13 april are the important elections for “na2ib l mouhandisin” and this is the most important seat! ciao
13. Patriot | March 10th, 2008 at 2:48 pm
Tarek my firend
What do you mean ‘your people’
No one is ‘my people’…i don’t see in any freaking f…party in Lebanon worthy to represent me…i am not a follower…i am an independent patriot observer, working for an American investor outside Lebanon, doing a master’s in an English university, still wiring my pay check to Lebanon, and afraid from the next step because m wishing to raise my kids in Lebanon, don’t want to end up in Canada…there are a lot of independents like me out here
14. Tarek | March 10th, 2008 at 3:05 pm
Sorry Patriot
I was dedicating this to “libanon”!!! just typed your name by mistake :P!
15. Rodge | March 10th, 2008 at 4:13 pm
Patriot,
Now you clarified the picture, but it was ur fault to make us think u’re from the 8th of March, because you’re always trying to defend them while in return you don’t seem to like anything the 14 March are doing, so in order to prove what you just said, you should act accordingly and try to criticize or praise both parties, and welcome from all of us.
16. Patriot | March 10th, 2008 at 5:11 pm
Rodge
thx for the welcome
i always try to stress on M14 mistakes here; ma ela ma3na to do it for M8 cz you guys ma 3amt2asro loll..just want to stress for M14 to keep in mind that the US don’t see in us but its own intereset and could ’sell’ us for a good opportuinity anytime..that is not something new, this is the history of the American empire…
17. Rodge | March 10th, 2008 at 5:31 pm
Patriot,
I totally agree with you on this point, and personally I see many mistrakes done by 14 March, and also I always have that fear of a deal done between the US and Syria, which may include Iran and Israel also, but that won’t forbid us to talk and deliver the message on this blog or elsewhere.
18. THERESINIA | March 10th, 2008 at 5:49 pm
The new thing with the General since he returned from France is that he has become a LIAR…
He transforms the information so that it looks nicer (like in Syria, the world specialists of DISINFORMATION).
When the OTHERS win 122 delegates out of 131, you remain silent !!! You don’t say THEY won categories N° 1, 2, 4, 5, and 6 and WE the TAYYAR won N° 7 (N° 7 was 8 delegates ONLY) !!!! As if the wins of the TAYYAR were equal to the OTHERS !!!!!
Fashar ! The TAYYAR lost with a SLAP in THE FACE. But the General will still claim a VICTORY (Divine???) with a big “V” like the arabs do after they lose…
Knowing The General of RABIYEH, he must be TOTALLY MAD in a FURIOUS STATE, such as no one can dare talk to him for a few days…
Let him take some more tablets…
19. Rodge | March 10th, 2008 at 6:12 pm
Ur Right Theresinia,
And i was just going to shed a light on this total contradiction. I just read it on tayyar.org who has submitted what Assafir newspaper wrote saying in the title that the elections brought equal members 5 for each and focusing in all the artiucle on the 1st and 7th categories only.
But since they don’t know how to lie, they always commit the same mistake, so they left the last lign which says that the 14 March engineers have won 123 delegates against 9 for the 8th of March.
What a shame, what a disgrace for Aoun and his allies and people!!!!
20. M.N. | March 10th, 2008 at 6:29 pm
Guys we can enjoy this win but keep in mind that the real election is in april 13….
this is just “pre election”…
the good thing in this pre election is that more than 7500 engineers participated and this can give us just an idea about what will happen in april where more engineers will vote…
21. libanon | March 10th, 2008 at 9:51 pm
The planes coming from KSA made a significant difference, cause in the civil march 14 lead by 60 votes only. And if anyone wants proof that march 14 were getting engineers from KSA(paying for their tickets and for their votes afterwards), check which branch was won, and which was lost; In KSA there are a lot of civil engineers, but it is a desert,so agriculture is very rare.
22. Tarek | March 10th, 2008 at 10:24 pm
There are 7 branches libanon, 1 was won by M8 and 6 by M14. They were all shipped them from KSA? libanon M14 is winning all syndicate election except maybe the teachers syndicate. Are they also shipped from the KSA? Were AUB students shipped from KSA? or LAU students? Maybe NDU or AUT students were shipped from KSA, the lists goes on … 90% of all election happening are being won by M14. Stop lying to your self Libanon, you won 8 out of 133 seats man.
