Though one has to ask ya Fouad, why hasn’t siniora yet resigned? and why hasn’t HA done anything about it?:-)

In my opinion, HA does not want this government to resign..:-)

It is really hard to beleive that almighty USA and Israel could not disarm HA, and now siniora government will by two resolutions..HA is not afraid of getting disarmed by those two resolutions..khayye it does not add up you see..:-)

There might be international game going on which we will surely discover in the comming days, and HA is probably playing his card..

  • 7. Cyprus | May 11th, 2008 at 6:02 pm

General Michel Slueiman must resign directly. What the f**k is the Jaych waiting for? The country is bombing everywhere and they keep silent smoking arguileh.

I always said, occupation cannot be fought with peacefully. Occupation is fought with blood and arms. Shame no one listened.

  • 9. Ziad | May 11th, 2008 at 6:07 pm

The only explanation to what’s happening (especially long-term) is that Hizbollah are trying to take over Lebanon, step by step… but they are only shooting themselves in the foot… Foreign intervention coming our way, and South Lebanon is going to be the world’s biggest radioactive parking lot… and the terrorists will burn slowly but surely.

  • 10. Boudy | May 11th, 2008 at 6:11 pm

ya3ne you people seriously make me laugh sometimes..do you understand what it means when you hear that the artillery is being used??:-)
what do you want the army to do?? the best weapon the army has is the artillery!!

lol, you want the army to interfer when it cannot guarantee (that’s before talking about its probable division) calming down the streets?! lol, the army has no guarantee it can overcome our lovely militias’ stenghts and you want it to interfer?!:-)

Every man for himself it is, war is maybe knocking on our doors, but then again, if we have no good army to stop the fightings, it is our government we should blame and every human being involved in not helping it..

  • 11. Boudy | May 11th, 2008 at 6:12 pm

Is this sharing ya Hizb el shitan?? You can’t stand other voices?? Tfehh

  • 16. Patrick | May 11th, 2008 at 6:25 pm

if we ask the army to protect our offices, protect LBC, etc. til further notice and we ourselves stay off the streets when/if they arrive, then what can they do? they can’t force us to fight, and if the goal is to put ouwet vs. FPM, they definitely cannot force us to fight our christian brothers, even if there are deep and bitter divisions between us. FPM may be eager to fight us, but we are not eager to fight anyone. and it sure isn’t because we’re ’scared’!

  • 17. Rodge | May 11th, 2008 at 6:28 pm

Hizb el shitan has declared war and will not stop until a major force will come to finish them. So it is better for that major force to come as soon as possible

    hey this is from CNN

“The army ordered Hezbollah supporters to end a sit-in so the army and internal forces can immediately ‘take over the the responsibility of security’ and said it considered ‘every gunman in the street as an outlaw.’”

    is that true?

  • 23. Ibn-Lebnen | May 11th, 2008 at 6:44 pm

It took this long to realize Hezbollah is a direct threat to the Lebanese people, that they do not want peace, that they will do whatever it takes to reach their own selfish objective, even if it involves killing. When will we put our children first and ask what kind of life they should live in? When will Aouniyeh realize that their “friends” Hezbollah will cut their throats as soon as they come to power. The Chouf and Aley is under fire now, we’re next. Its up to us if we’re gonna unify now, or die under the rule of Hezbollah, its our choice…

  • 24. wage slave X | May 11th, 2008 at 6:48 pm

well said N10452 for what you wrote:

“I dont understand what part of civil war Lebanese people dont understand !

I dont understand how can one want to shoot at his own people and bomb houses and cities !”

hats off for jumblatt on his decision to ask PSP to lay down their arms and go home. he knew the odds. a true leader is the one who takes care of his people and is concerned about their lives, not the one who marches them to death in a lost battle. (battle not war).

Foa2d - if you don’t like PSP or LF, then this is your valid opinion. but to wish them death, then this is not acceptable. would you accept if this happened to FPM of Amal or Hezbollah?

they are criminals and murderers, you say? when was that? before 1990?

before 1990, everyone took part of the war. everyone, including hezbollah and amal. so what is it that you want? before 1990 for everyone or after 1990 for everyone?

besides, i think everyone agreed that the civil war was behind us. why are you still pointing references to it?

  • 25. Seyar | May 11th, 2008 at 6:49 pm

Okay, being a lebanese myself, I feel the pain whenever i hear news like this. Why cant my country ever be in peace? someone ALWAYS has to come and do something. Hezbollah doesn’t even deserve that name, they’re more like the party of the devil. I mean what the fuck, ISLAM means peace..not fucking attacking your own people right? I want to one day have kids who will have the comfort in knowing that their country actually has dignity and be proud of the fact that they’re lebanese as i am.

    l-shi3a once had

*they had the privelage of being called a resistance .. now they LOST that .. they are a militia

*hassan nassrallah was know for his honesty and respected for that … he LOST that … he’s nothing but a cheating liar

hassan nassrallah is the worst thing have happened to the shiaa comunity in lebanon … and beleive me Ali1559 and the rest … I think that the trust of your lebanese partners in the country and it’s unity IS by farr more important than any weapon or at least any communication network … and looks like your heading to loosing both weapons and trust … even-though u might be 100 times more powerfull than all lebanese united …

    3im,
I believe otherwise. hezbollah is a lebanese group of people. they are by their DNA lebanese. screwed up lebanese, but still. Iran has a major hand in this, maybe even syria, but its not a war against iran as it is to hezbollah, if it were a war against iran, they would have an iranian leading the group. not that ass.

  • 43. fad14 | May 11th, 2008 at 7:16 pm

I am a Sunni who supports Lebanese Forces since there was no army in 1975 which led to a defense force called the Lebanese Forces.

Today I ask for a Force called March 14 or whatever name you want for it,

    NO ARMY = CIVIL WAR.

We are not cheep, we have honor and we have dignity and we can kill anyone who wants to kill us.

NO ARMY = CIVIL WAR and let it be.

I prefer to die than stop at Hizbulla Checkpoints at the airport.

  • 53. Patrick | May 11th, 2008 at 8:35 pm

amen johnny. who is an israeli to tell lebanese forces if we are acting as bachir would act or not!?

    israeli:

you had your chance to fight hezbollah (2006 war). and there were many lebanese who supported you in the beginning. the whole world seemed to be with you in the first days. i was among them.

on the second or third day, i was in a cafe, and i asked another lebanese what he thought, and he said “i hope israel kicks hezbollah’s ass and forces them to get the fuck out of my country.”

but by the end of the war, after it was clear that israel (or at least olmert, his administration, and his generals) didn’t give a shit about lebanon, about the western-backed government, about the christians, or about potential allies (for lack of a better word) among the sunnis, the druze and relatively moderate shi3a (for example), not to mention the lebanese people… you have have no room to talk.

israel had her chance. it didn’t work. it doesn’t take a genius to figure out the solution must come from within, not from without. so, as johnny said, “with all due respect,” stay out of it, and let us try our way. maybe civil war would be great for israel, but it’s not great for the lebanese people. march 14 leaders aren’t perfect, and they have made many tough decisions over the last few days, and they have many more to make now and over the coming days and weeks… but they are wise, and god is with them, so let them lead in their own way, the lebanese way!!

if there is no alternative to war, then everyone is ready for war. BUT THERE IS an alternative. and that’s supporting the state, its institutions, the army, etc. at all costs, taking our issues to the people on the street, through the media, in the home, applying multi-confessional national and international pressure, etc., having faith in the lebanese people, and trusting that ultimately, in the competition of ideas, our vision of lebanon will succeed, and the vision of the opposition will fail miserably.

Unfortunately, what is happening in Lebanon - and also Iraq, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Syria etc. - is a sign of what is deeply wrong with the Arabs. It is uncanny that this week Israel is celebrating 60 years of independence, and the fact that the start of the 2nd Lebanese civil war coincides with 60 years of independence of Israel demonstrates what is right with Israel.

Israel, albeit that Israelis come from a myriad of ethnic and cultural backgrounds and various denominations of Judaism, is one nation. All Israeilis are devoted to the State of Israel and share a common identity. Israel is ready to defend its nationals, both civilians and soldiers in combat to the utmost.

    It is the Arabs’ loss that they lack such a sense of nationhood in their respective countries, and they are in fact comparable to many African peoples in the way that tribalism supersedes the nation-state in their politics. What is happening in many Arab countries also happened in Ruanda, Kenya, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Congo;

What a pity that such a wealth of human resources is being squandered by irresponsible leaders and backward politics. Stop blaming Israel and America and go into yourselves; once you are strong from the inside, no external force will move you.

  • 82. Mickel | May 11th, 2008 at 11:04 pm

What’s all this about the SSNP leader calling for retaliation against the FM?

This guy is controlled directly by Syria and wants things to get worse which shows that Syria and Iran want to start a civil war in Lebanon for their own advantages.

  • 83. Israeli | May 11th, 2008 at 11:33 pm

The LF is pathetic. Druze are being slaughtered in the Chouf and you dick around with who is hacking Al Manar. The latest update the Druze got 25 HA dead and many wounded. You guys are a bounch of fags.

  • 86. Tarek | May 12th, 2008 at 12:15 am

If PSP can hold a fight why he surrendered his posts and weapons to Irslan an the army? Now if things went wrong again their ass will be kicked.

  • 87. Mickel | May 12th, 2008 at 12:16 am

    Israeli,

The LF can’t go to the mountain and attack HA or help out the druze for many reasons:

    1. The LF has no organized armed groups.

    2. What’s happening right now isn’t war, it’s more of a clach between people living on lines of scrimmage.

    3. If the LF interferes, then the FPM will interfere and this will turn into a full-scale war (which we would loose since M8 has been preparing and planning for war for a long time).

Now if HA even comes close to setting a foot in a christian area, then the LF would get involved and blow those ignorant terrorists back to Persia.

P.S.: It wouldn’t hurt if your military chipped in–maybe with some air raids.

  • 88. Tarek | May 12th, 2008 at 12:32 am

I agree with Mickel. We should avoid a war now since we are not prepared in any way and we don’t have arms. However we should start preparing after we knew that the army is just a while pile of shit. Still can’t know why PSP is giving their arms away … they could avoid war without that …

  • 89. Patrick | May 12th, 2008 at 1:16 am

Mickel is right. the SECOND that LF or kataeb join the fight, FPM will join the fight.

that’s the first point. the second point is jumblatt has not asked LF to help.

the third point is PSP doesn’t even need LF’s help right now.

the fourth point is that even though it surprises me what happened between PSP and irslan (can someone provide more details please??), no one is kicking PSP’s ass. does no one remember the 7 hezbollah members killed by PSP the other day?

    now to everyone:

when someone dies, that’s a human being who was just killed. once they are dead, it doesn’t matter if they are mustaqbal or hezbollah or PSP or SSNP or LF or FPM or whatever. they are dead, and they are not coming back. please consider that when you talk about escalating the fight. about hitting them back hard, etc. jesus said to ‘pray for your enemies, and bless those who persecute you.’ it’s difficult not to hate sometimes. it’s more than difficult. but our vision will never succeed if we dehumanize our enemies in the same way they dehumanize themselves. those hezbollah guys who died, they are a bunch of kids who got messed up by the rhetoric they grew up listening to.

remember, when god empowered moses to split the water and lead israel through the red sea and onto dry land, the egyptians followed, and god closed the waters again on the egyptians, and the men in their army all died. and the israelis started rejoicing, but then god said “why are you rejoicing? those were my children who just died…” he said “his children,” even though they were trying to kill the israelis.

    we are all god’s children.

  • 90. Israeli | May 12th, 2008 at 1:18 am

This is a typical Christian attitude. First you deny ther is aproblem, than you avoid the problem, and finally you eat shit and lose. Like I said, I have great respect for Geagea and I don’t believe you for a minute that the LF have not been preparing for this moment.

    Get there an fight.

P.S. if israel actively helps M14 you are goiung to be labelled traitors for years to come. I have no problem with that, but are you willing to bare it?

  • 91. Tarek | May 12th, 2008 at 1:33 am

Sorry to tell you that Israeli, but your government don’t want to end HA, if it wanted that it would have worked on that long time ago …

  • 92. Patrick | May 12th, 2008 at 1:40 am

    “LF :D :D” –

clearly, you missed the part where i said “hopefully, those orders will never come.”

  • 93. Israeli | May 12th, 2008 at 1:48 am

BTW, there is a huge movement in Israel right calling to help the Druze. This is purely because the Druze and Jews are together with blood. I hope it will be noisy enough so they will allow the Druze warriors and the Jewish soldiers to be deployed in the CHouf. Kis ummo Nasrallah.

  • 94. Jay | May 12th, 2008 at 7:21 am

    Israeli,

What are you smoking man. The ‘Druze and Jews are together with blood’. Where the hell you craft such facts from the twisted fuck Nasralah

  • 99. moni.::.lf girl.:;. | May 12th, 2008 at 2:58 pm

hey all! nice to meet u guys!… well i need to say first that im really sad to see some people..just like the one called”lf :D:D” attacking our leader none other the man who gave 11 years of his life for a cruel and unjust judgement.. our dear Dr. samir geagea ..im really sad for the fact that he is calling himself lf and he doesnt respect the ideal of the lebanese forces…without samir geagea they will never be a new generation of the lf..who are us..me and a thousand of many guys and girls who are the future of the christians in lebanon…

Mister”lf:D:D”..im really sad for the fact that u told us about it ,,about ur family..but i got to say..we are christians we believe in god…leave your anger and your sadness to our god…he will punish whoever did that to ur family that i strongly believe that its not Dr.samir geagea..but a group of men who were strongly into the game…the war in leb were a lot of martyrs was killed and accused so many people unfairly with their cases thus i believe ur family case is one of em.

So to all people who think that our leader is such a murderer…i say:dr. samir geagea was a man with a plan,,a plan that assure u the safety of the christians people,he defended us with a whole pack of strong and loyal men(our parents and friends)against cruel and badass syrians…without the lebanese forces with bachir and samir…the army of 3on could never defend us… read and see the war that happened…lebanese forces was the safety of christians…the army of michel 3on was helpless…so people stop talking abou the history of lf in a bad way…it was a legendary history…and about the facts that happened of murdering and killing and such thing… it was an open war..then for sure u will see martyrs from all around…

As for now,it is really sad what is happening, but it is to open the lebanese eyes, on the milichia hezbollah..with all respect,, this is not a partie that could defend the lebanese people,,that is a group of gangs and terrorist who lives to destroy lebanon,, and to destroy all concepts of muslims…im really sad for the fact that hezbollah killed AL IMAM ALI a thousand time ,each time they kill a human , AL IMAM ALI is the base of the chiite and they are the shame for THE DEAR ALI, cuz they destroyed all his wise speaches on humanity, thus, they destoyed the respect to all muslms…they are the mirror of terrorist and there leader is the mirror of the satan itself…

second thing, im really sad for the fact that the lebanese army didnt do a thing with the”outlaws”,therefor,i strongly hope that the general Michel sleiman..will not come as president even though he is from my town and i did respect him one day,but after his reaction on the street i really wish to eliminate him from the list of presedential election,,, i dont think he is tough enough to our beloved country…

third,i hope hezbollah will burn in hell for what he did,,cuz he destroyed a whole country,, and i hope one day he will give his weapons and he will feel the bad emotions when someone rape ur country and towns and homes and sons…im ashamed to call them lebanese…cuz they aren’t .. and i hope they will all sent away to syria and iran were they will be more happy.. and we will be much happy and safe without those mutherfuckers:)

finally, im sorry for writing u such a long comment,, but i felt that this is the place were i can say what i want… i hope u guys will read my comment and accept my opinions,, with all do respect to everyone(and some of the hezboolah people cuz they are stupid so poor people they need our pity)
thank u for giving me this chance to talk… maybe one day ill give u more of my opinions if u accept me..
    thank you:)
god bless lebanon and his people:)
    tc all

  • 102. Yaeli | May 12th, 2008 at 6:30 pm

Well this Israeli would like to get in there and chuck cans of peas at Hezbollah fighters if that was all I had (and actually it is all I have) to free Lebanon from the grip of Syria and Iran and to finally, finally let the country grow and prosper as an independent and proud nation. I am grieving for Lebanon.

Hezbollah sends their fighters to Iran and Syria to train and get weapons and support. Send your people to Jordan to get trained! Get prepared and do not give in! Stand strong!
