Riots in Beirut ..
Posted by N10452Update 1 : 4 PSP members were injured during minor clashes in Aley with Irslan thugs.
Update 2: New TV building was not shot at, and no casualties reported in Beirut shooting near Berri’s residence in Ain el Tine.
Two days ago, gun fires were reported in Beirut after Saad el Hariri showed up on TV, apparently some FM supporters got jealous of HA supporters and decided to do the same.
And Today, gun fires were heard and groups of motorcycles were seeing circulating in Beirut el Gharbieh near Nabih Berri’s residence.
I am not sure who is behind all this, but the next few days will surely be heated, specially with Feb 14 approaching.

I hope that those people are not our partners, because the using of weapons is the wrong way, we will lose our credibility if we want peace.

wowwww hariri is becoming so kind..giving away money to do social works in the North on behalf of his fatehr’s soul…his father spent more than 10 years in state Power and never recalled that area (maybe if we discard the election periods loll)…what a country..what a shame…what a disgrace

Guys…whether it’s HA, FM, or PSP it’s all the same crap. If Christians were smart they would stay out of it. These guys don’t give a damn about Christians. This country is heading towards a major explosion and we should stay neutral or we’ll go kh**ra samak.

Rafic Harriri always gave to charity and education in Tripoli and North. Its not true that FM has just started to give money or only during elections. I was a kid in Highschool when many of my friends applied to harriri Foundation for scholarship + many times huge trucks in the 80s gave food rations and other items from harriri or Saudi thry the Harriri Foundation. The only disgrace is in parts of Lebanon where bags of money are transferred from a country to certain party only to be given to those who support them by wearing scarf etc…

Patriot,
Harirri was forbidden from going to any area outside Beirut and to build alliance with the Christians (LF, Kataeb, Ouwet, …). If you recall, when he charity organization bought the surplus olive oil and started passing it to the poor in Beirut, the Syrian Mukhabart (Lebanese Government) started arresting them. By the way, when he started building alliance with the Christians, he was assassinated!!
